Changed product name after sale

Sold a region-locked product that needed a TOS-breaking VPN to redeem, without clearly stating that this was the case on the product page, besides an incredibly vague note that "additional instructions for redeeming in your region" will follow, how does that make clear the use of a VPN will be needed? It doesn't - it's shady and the company knows full well it is.

Need evidence for such? After my complaint and dispute on PayPal they changed the name of the product to include "[VPN Activation]" and used it against me, forgetting that their order emails include the full title of the products purchased, where a mention of VPN is nowhere to be seen. Oops!

I was contemplating dropping the case as it's not worth my energy, but after seeing so many people here go through the same thing and then them emailing back to deny changing anything, that was the final straw - now it's about principle.

Give me my money back and stop deceiving customers to make your products seem more attractive. If it needs a VPN to redeem outside of a specific region, STATE THAT - don't drop vague hints and point to it as if you were being transparent.

Companies like yours need to disappear, there is no room for your deceptive business practices.

UPDATE1: They continued to act like I'd missed obvious warnings (added after the sale) and made desperate threats to have my accounts banned and lawyers contacted, all to avoid admitting fault and doing the right thing.

The irony is if they'd just held their hands up and refunded me, that positive outcome could potentially have convinced me to return as a customer in future, here they lost their money and a return customer.

Because yes, PayPal obviously refunded me. This is a message to anyone else dealing with their bullying and harassment and thinking of dropping the case, DON'T. PayPal know a scammer when they see one and they will refund you, no questions asked.

UPDATE2: In response to the reply received from Gaming Dragons support (more likely one of the business owners at this point), I disputed the case with PayPal when I realised you'd missold me the nature of a product via the use of false advertising, which you are painfully guilty of, besides other things. This is all that matters when it comes to the purchasing decisions made by potential new customers of yours.

In relation to the bad reviews (never seen a business actually try to pretend an overall 1-star rating is something to be proud of before, so this is fun). You have at least 4 profiles on TrustPilot (god knows why), all that direct to your storefront. ALL OF THEM have an overall rating of between 1.4 and 2.6 stars out of 5, one of them with 165 reviews (the one for the main domain that all other links direct to and holds nearly all of your most recent reviews) even has a majority of 1-star reviews at 74%. No one gets a rating like that (4 times in a row) without doing something seriously wrong, and the quicker you wake up to that excruciatingly obvious fact, the better.

So of course you don't want TrustPilot's assistance with encouraging more reviews, you get enough justified hate as it is. Face up the reality, instead of making excuses for it.

UPDATE3: Since you clearly cannot help yourself. You're right, I don't tend to leave positive reviews for services I use (that's something I should try to do more often), but I repay them for valuing me highly as a customer by repeatedly paying for their services.

Anyway, your responses if anything works in my favour, at least I might have a better chance of showing to potential customers of yours just how desperate and pathetic of a company you are.

Right or wrong, you speak to customers (both here and via email) like you're having a drunken argument with a punter in a pub, which pretty much sums your whole operation up nicely. Thanks again.

Hello.
You forgot to mention you have redeemed the code despite the book you wrote here.
And that it was mentioned that you will receive a region locked key which requires additional instructions to redeem which you followed.
PayPal refunded you on their behalf since it was not deducted from our account.
Also we have already reported an unauthorized redemption of the code in a region its not suppose to so the game will be removed from your Xbox account and probably as you seem to claim "TOS-breaking" they should also probably ban your entire Xbox account.
The only scammer here is you and the worse kind since instead of pirating you want a legitimate item for free while attempting to chargeback.

Also count all the bad reviews we have ever received over 10 years, it will end up to a 2-3 bad reviews a month which is so insignificant it matter to no one but scammers like yourself.
Also we do not pay Trustpilot to spam customers for reviews.

The point is that we do not care what stars you put on a platform we dont work with we have our own review system, the nature of how truspilot works is anyone can open a profile on any company, so you can create another 20 profiles and post your review, this will not matter other than you will remain what you are, a scammer.
It was mentioned on the description of the item what it is and you decided to redeem the code and only after complain instead of expressing your unsatisfactory and being refunded before doing so.
You planned this all along since you were already informed via the product page and via email what it is and couldn't access your account which you asked to gain access to redeem the code and only than complained, also this is not the 1st time you do this as you made purchases in the past unrelated to region locks and did the similar runabout back in 2018.
Regarding the rating system on truspilot, go check paypal or amazon or any other outlet who does not use them.
No one is going to come to truspilot on their free will to write a good review unless they are being spammed which we already mentioned we do not do.
Also you proved my point, over 4-5 profiles you have 2-3 bad reviews a month, that is below 1%.
Even if you have 10 bad reviews a month or even 30 that is one bad review a day over thousands of transactions, that is nothing.
Your entire trustpilot profile is only bad reviews so you proving two of our points.

Seems like you have a habit of missing the point.
You concealed the fact that you have used the code in your own review, so a honest review it isn't.
You pretend like you didnt know what you ordered, wanted to save some money but in the end couldnt even go through with that, not a surprise.
We had the EU/WW version listed as well which you visited but avoided buying.
Also you are a customer of nothing since you chargeback the payment as soon as you activated the code and got what you ordered while manipulating PayPal to give you your money back at their own cost.
So you know and we know that you are just a scammer judging by your earlier order as well that has nothing to do with region locks.
And your trustpilot profile says everything about you, we dont have to chime in.
And now everyone else knows it.

It's a scam

I bought a key for global use, they sell you one from Argentina and ask you to use VPN to mislead microsoft. When asked for a refund, they want to access your computer

Scammed

I bought a download key. For a game Called Ghostrecon Advanced Warfighter 2. But the link just lead to a blank 404 page. And I never got what i payed for.. I tryed to contact there customer support 5 Hours ago with no response. Im really dissapointed😕

Key was claimed before i recieved it.

So i Bought Gears of war 4 from them. went in to activate the game. a message pops up telling me the game is already claimed. I then contact their costumer support about it and provide pictures of the message and pictures of my account game library. they cast off all blame and try to make me take contact to microsoft about where the key is redeemed. i tell them no its not my job to do their work. I asked for either a Refund or a functional key. they did not provide either or any support. Case is taken up with paypal. no way im gonna be cheated.

Key i received was already used

I received the key right after the purchase, my only problem is, that it's already used, so I can't get the game. Contacted their support but they're really slow at answering, and haven't really helped me thus far. If I don't receive the right key soon, I think i'll have to contact my bank for a refund.

Rise of the Tomb Raider pre order

So i pre-ordered Rise of the Tomb Raider from this site, since they seemed to be the only place that had the steam pre-order items with it. Today(2 days af the pre order placement) i noticed they removed the text with "Pre-Purthace now to get the pre order bonuses, bla bla bla". And they deleted this text without notifying me about it. So i contacted the support to cancel my order.

The site itself is nice and easy, and my support ticket was answered within 2 hours. This is why even though they pulled this stunt for theirs I'm still willing to give it 4 stars.

Recieved a not valid key / Slow support

It's been 2 days now since i ordered a key from this website, and the key i recieved did not work. So i wrote to support which told me to give them a screenshot of the error, which i provided. It's been 2 days now and they still haven't given me a new key or my money back. Plus their live support is never online. I cannot recommend this site at all! Been shopping games from different sites and this one is far the worst.

I eventually ended getting my money back, because i waited over 3 days for my key.

30 min to 2 hours my ***

I've been waiting for over half-a-day now and still no Warlords of Draenor. I also haven't heard anything from the support ticket that I made before going to bed... this was the first time and the last time I ever used Gamer-Shop / Gaming Dragons.

EDIT: I've change my rating from 1 to 4 stars because of good customer support. So take the above with a grain of salt.

Cheap and wide

although the 30 min to two hour window is sometimes irritating long, this is a cheap way to get great games. They have a very wide selection!

Outstanding service!!

After I tried to download a game a few times they tried to fix it via teamviewer. after around 2 hours i can now play Outlast. extremely thankfull for the great service! definitly reccommend this company!

AWESOME

Amazing service yet again. Key was much cheaper than anywhere else. Very fast had the key in one minute. Activated through origin and now excited to play.I will be back for more very, very soon to buy a another key
