This is specifically for a Gaggia Accademia

This is specifically for a Gaggia Accademia. It was purchased from Cafe Italia in France last year but supplied direct from Italy.
After only 5 months the machine stopped working. Under the terms and conditions it had to be returned to Italy for repair at my cost even though it was under guarantee. Eventually Cafe Italia agreed to cover the cost of shipping but not without argument.
Now, less than 18 months after purchase with guarantee now expired it has now developed a serious leak. If I want it repaired I will have to pay to have it returned to Italy for repair and I have no idea what the repair cost will be. To pay this much for a coffee machine which, to my mind, has been totally unreliable is shocking and not worth the purchase price. Make sure you read terms and conditions very carefully if you are considering buying one of these.
When it works it is great but my experience has been bad.
