We were very happy with all the service we received from the staff in the Gillingham branch, the lady who called to arrange a delivery date & the delivery men, all were polite, friendly & helpful.

We visited Furniture Village in Gillingham on 25th August, arriving quite late in the day with only around 30 minutes before the store was due to close. We had come in hoping to find a dining table, but honestly had very little idea what we wanted and weren’t familiar with the range of options available.

We initially struggled to find something we liked, but then we were approached by Tom, who took the time to ask what we were looking for and showed us a selection of tables that we hadn’t even seen. He talked us through the different finishes, leg styles, chairs and other options, which really helped us understand what was available and what would work for us.

What really stood out was how helpful and patient Tom was despite the time. We were very conscious that the store was closing soon and that we hadn’t even decided whether we were going to buy anything. However, Tom never made us feel rushed or pressured. He was happy to answer all our questions, offered genuinely useful advice and gave us the time we needed to make a decision.

In the end, what started as a fairly uncertain visit resulted in us purchasing a table, bench, extension and four chairs. We certainly hadn’t expected to make such a complete purchase when we walked through the door!

Tom’s approach made a huge difference to our experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable and, most importantly, made us feel like he genuinely wanted to help us find the right furniture rather than simply make a sale. We really appreciated the level of service, especially given how late we arrived.

A big thank you to Tom at the Gillingham store for making what could have been a rushed and difficult shopping trip such a positive experience. He is a real credit to the store.

Alif helped us with our sofa purchase today. He was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the sofas, enabling us to make our decision regarding what would work best for our family rather than being pushy. The quality of the sofas in the showroom is excellent with a noticeable difference in comfort compared to some competitors. A very enjoyable sales experience with our children including hot drinks and cookies for all of us.

The buying process was easy enough. When the sofa's delivered we can say how good the product is.

Darthys was very helpful in suppirting my choice and decision of which sofa to get covering all the benefits for each utem. The purchase was smooth and unpressured.

My mum purchased a Gplan sofa on 11th May, delivered on 8th July, 16th July my mum informed the store that it was unsuitable for purpose, we are currently still trying to get this resolved, the chair which was ordered had a grease stain on it which they tried to deliver twice, after repeatedly saying take it back, on 14th August they tried again to deliver after speaking with the store whom had advised it had been cancelled! As for the sofa on delivery the seat was 4/5" higher than the one instore, we were not advised that several bottoms had sat on the one in store over several years so it had flattened considerably!! The sofa is completely unsuitable, every time we tried contacting the store manager he was apparently not in work, having spoken to a different store manager whom informed us that there's always a manager on site!! If a sofa has been reported as unsuitable 1 week after delivery this should have been rectified, taken away and a refund given! We have tried to resolve this several ways but nothing as yet, we are now 19th of September, my mum has been sitting on a garden chair for 4mths, she is an 81 year old small lady who has been treated with absolute disregard and in an awful manor! I have also had calls with the store whom have spoken over me and been very rude!!
Stear clear, if you have any problems they dont want to sort it!!

Good quality sofa I got from the Gillingham store. Darhys is an amazing sales person, made the whole process so easy !

I received lots of help and advice from the assistant Alif when choosing my sofa. He was very patient when I couldn’t decide what fabric to choose.
The paperwork was explained to me and Alif also advised me about the fabric care package.

I was sofa shopping in store in Gillingham and served by Darhys, who couldn’t do enough to ensure I had the right sofa. Shopping with a newborn was made easy and relaxed here, unlike another large sofa shop. Nothing was too much and I have left a very happy customer, thank you
