The most unprofessional,rudest and aggressive driver/deliverer it has ever been my misfortune to meet. Clearly in a very bad mood prior to arrival.

I would love to say something positive but there was nothing at all positive about the experience. I would not even have given one star if I had that option.

If you have any choice I suggest you find another delivery company

What made the experience worth 5 stars was the driver who was so polite and helpful. His name is Tony and he was exceptional!!

Had a log delivery today - very poor as normally driver has powered pallet truck (Last 5/6) deliveries, today didn't and just wanted to leave on road so forced to decline the delivery which has cost me £50. White Horse Energy use these guys so be aware.

Received a delivery of logs today. The pallet was delivered as promised and the time slot was also achieved. The driver, from the Newhaven Depot, was particularly helpful and polite. He delivered the pallet direct to my garage in Barcombe, as requested, and definitely can be recommended for his customer service skills.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Fortec Distribution. I took a full day off work for a wood delivery that never arrived, then a second day and they were too late. On the third attempt i took the morning off, only for the delivery to be refused with the driver claiming the path to the delivery spot was at a slope, despite other companies successfully delivering many times larger pallets to the same spot in the past.
When I raised the issue, Fortec Distribution refused to take any responsibility or offer a refund for the three failed deliveries. I ended up paying £64 in all, with no acknowledgment of the inconvenience or costs I incurred.
This lack of accountability and poor customer service is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against using Fortec Distribution if you value reliability and fairness.

Need something delivered to the WRONG ADDRESS on the WRONG DAY? Then you've come to the right place! Lee from Rugby delivered 500kg of log to the wrong house on the wrong day despite phone conversations then did nothing to rectify the situation.

Poor in the extreme. Give a delivery day then change it half way through the day. Give another delivery day but then don't turn up because it's 6pm and the driver's decided to knock off even though the delivery was on till 7:15pm. Worst of all they log it as the following :-
20/08/2024 18:00 Arrived at Delivery Point
20/08/2024 18:09 Cannot Deliver
20/08/2024 18:12 Aborted Delivery

I can tell you nobody arrived at the delivery address as i was standing there with half my garage contents on the driveway waiting for this... would I recommend them. I'd rather pull my own teeth out. Avoid

order in wood and beyond the this company deliver but put on ground floor lobby the flooring was stolen when I went out to supermarket for an hour. I lost £500 of flooring

driver was on time, polite and courteous and (unusually for delivery drivers) parked so as to cause as little disruption as possible to other residents and road users. Absolutely nothing to complain about, top marks.

Just be mindful that they do ‘curb side’ delivery. In other words, they don’t deliver to your property, they dump it outside, completely obstructing the public pavement. Not a good situation if you don’t have heavy lifting equipment to move it ASAP.
