Went to 2 of their events

I attended two of their speed dating events and unfortunately didn’t have a positive experience.

At the regular event, the matching system felt quite limited. You can only select up to six matches, which is roughly a third of the attendees. Given how short each interaction is, it’s difficult to get a genuine sense of compatibility, so the limited number of selections makes it feel even more restrictive.

The Valentine’s event was also poorly organized in my experience. The advertised age range (25–45) felt too broad, which resulted in noticeable mismatches. While I understand I chose to attend, the wide age gap made it harder to connect with people I was genuinely interested in, and the people organizing it were handling it poorly. At times, it felt like I was simply going through the motions rather than having meaningful conversations.

Overall, I had hoped this would be a more effective way to meet people, but I didn’t find it to be worth the time or cost. I’ve honestly had better experiences with online dating.

I was also disappointed to see in the terms and conditions that cancellations, even with notice, do not qualify for a refund. That policy feels unnecessarily rigid and left a negative impression.

Edit: To the reply from the organizer, the part that it's held only in Danish is not the real problem here, but funny to see it is the main focus of the reply. No. The main problem is the facilitation of meaningful connections, which was not achieved. And I know because I talked to people AFTER the event about their experiences and they felt the same. Sorry, missed the mark

We appreciate that you share your feedback with us.

As communicated beforehand and directly to you, our events are currently designed for Danish-speaking singles, and all hosting and activities take place in Danish.

Attending without speaking the language will naturally limit the overall experience and particularly at larger themed events like Valentine’s Day.
The age range has been public information since we launched the Valentine's Day event, so everyone participating was aware of that before purchasing tickets.

Regarding the match system, the limit of six selections is intentional. Out of 17 dates, participants are encouraged to choose those they genuinely feel the strongest romantic potential with, rather than selecting broadly. The structure is designed to create focus and meaningful reciprocity.

The advertised age range and cancellation policy were also clearly stated in advance. We carefully balance our events to maintain structure and equal participation, which is why tickets are non-refundable.

We understand that the format may not be the right fit for everyone and wish you the best in finding the approach that suits you best.
