I have been ordering/ pre-ordering from these guys for a while now and not once can I say that I am disappointed.

I regularly purchase POP! Vinyls from them and they always arrive well packaged and in pristine condition.
I am yet to return an item. So I cannot offer feedback on the returns procedures.

Prices are competitive with competitors too.

Would highly recommend using them.

I was afraid to buy on this website (forbiddenplanet.co.uk - Forbidden Planet International) due the bad reviews. But so far for me everything been perfect with them!. I placed two orders, 1) pre-order: when the release date arrive after a couple weeks they e-mail me and postpone the date a moth later. But his is totally normal. You must to understand what a pre-order is and how its works everywhere. About that pre-order I email them to change the postage address and they answer me the next day and my address shows updated on the website. 2) Stock order: 2nd day after I placed my order I received an email informing me that my order was shipped. For days after I placed my order I received it in perfect condition well protected. .

I would give less than 1 star if it was possible! I pre ordered a pop vinyl 4 months in advance. They took my card details etc. I emailed them asking of it's progress and they replied that they have had no order from me, bearing in mind I was given a transaction reference number for the order. Not only did they tell me it must have been my fault "bad Wi-Fi, time out" but they also said they didn't have to honour the order and let me order again at that price. Shocking customer services, and whoever was emailing was down right rude. I will NEVER order from here again and will advise my family and friends to AVOID like the plague!.

Been buying from them for years - very slow to deliver and often mess the order up. I will now NOT be buying anymore from them. They would gladly cut off their nose just to spite their face.

They sent the wrong pop last week and i informed them of this and asked them for a realcement. They then asked me to rip up the box and take a picture of it before they would send a replacement. I offered them a better solution of sending a return label when they sent the replacement and we would both be happy. They refused to do this for some unknown reason. I can’t work with a company like this so I’ve cancelled all my pending orders (over £100) worth. They would rather lose this money and £100s in future sales instead of do something that would be better for both the customer and company. I would have gotten the correct product and they would have gotten their product back. But no, they have lost of out in the money for the product (and future orders) and I will be ripping up a box for no reason to get my money back. Very questionable when you see a company run like this.

Waited over 6 weeks for an order that was in stock on their website. When emailed told they could not give me an estimated date of delivery as they had none in stock and didn't know when the stock would be replenished. Waited a further 2 weeks and canceled my order and placed a new one. Same thing again, in stock on their website but told they didn't have any. When I said I was unhappy they ignored it, not so much as a sorry. Do not shop online here.

i pre ordered the hulk 10 inch pop around a month before it came out. i had a confirmation and everything. then when the release day came around i got an email saying my order was not processed. then i went to order again but they had all sold out, this was supposed to be a christmans present but now its too late and some ones christmas is ruined thanks alot forbidden planet

Ordered 7 funko pops and recieved 1 after a week. Contacted customer service after 21 days as advised in the FAQ and got the impression i was being impatient and should just wait for my order and stop hassling them. After 21 days fp still cant give me an estimate when i will recieve remaining 6.
Found a forbidden planet store in belfast with my full order in over-stock.
Waited 31 days total, still no order so cancelled and got a refund.
Shop seems good but the online shop is shockingly bad and poorly managed.
How does a business over stock a retail outlet and leave people waiting over a month for an online order?

Preordered some Pops at the start of September that were due out for release at the end of October, which then proceded to go to back order immediately after the preorder date. Waited 2 weeks, still on back order. Why have a preorder option if you're not going to get the items in stock on that date? Poor that you have to email to cancel an order as opposed to just going to your orders page and simply pressing a button, I had to wait 3 days for my cancellation to be confirmed.

Even one star is too generous!
I placed an order with this company A YEAR AGO for a book as part of a Christmas present. They informed me the book was not in stock, so I cancelled the order and bought the book elsewhere. I thought no more of it, until a YEAR LATER to receive an email to say that they were sending out the order.

When I explained that I had cancelled the order and didn't in fact want the book, they stated that they had no record of my email and had left the order open....FOR A YEAR!! Instead of making contact to check to see if I still wanted it after so long, or even to check if my address was still correct, they just sent the order.

They informed me initially that they would not charge me for the order, but asked me to return it when I received it. I then asked for instructions as to how to return the order at no cost to myself, to be told that they would not reimburse me for postage because they had not received my cancellation email.

Customer service is really poor and emails are full of spelling mistakes which makes me think that this company is not legit. Despite asking for complaints procedure, they are now refusing to provide contact details of a manager and the customer service agent states they will pass the email on (like I am going to believe that!)

Absolutely ridiculous company - AVOID WHERE POSSIBLE

Order two POP Vinyls from this store, happy with the packaging although it took a while to dispatch it still arrived faster than Zavvi, PIAB and EMP. Will use this store again!

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!! Placed a perorder with them in july for items that were meant to be instock/delivered in august i was then emailed in august to say items were delayed till September i thought ok ill wait a little longer i was then emailed in September to say orders were delayed to October at this point i was not happy but decided to wait! I was then emailed in October to say the items wouldn't be in till end of December!!! (Maybe!!) i then came to my senses and decided to cancel my order an go elsewhere. Moral of the story is DON'T PREORDER ANYTHING from them you'll never get it!! Just read some of the other reviews online seems they do this sort of thing ALOT!!

Made an order in september and not received my order
Tried ringing ...no one answers and claim they have "telephone incoming calls problems"
....bogus company dont use!!!

15 yrs as loyal customer and started since the new manager, taking comics out my pull box iv called and asked to be saved, i collect variants and he either kepping them for himself or flipping them online, idk but after 2nd time of it happening i cancel my 15 yr standing order with them, absouloutly disgracful and poor customer service at the Nottingham store, actually a case of no customer service tbh

Do not confuse with ForbiddenPlanet.com - who are actually good!

The dont appear to actually have any stock at all. Are they even real?

I placed 2 separate orders for different items. Over a month later and I have still not received them and they simply state they are waiting for their shipment to come in

If you like placing orders and getting them cancelled or trying to place orders for nycc but not being able to due to a broken site then this is the site for you! Constantly have had orders cancelled and then for the icing on the cake today I tried to order nycc pops, clicking on my thing to add it and the site dies! Go back after waiting for the site to finally load again and it’s sold out! Go to try to order other pops and the site just keeps freezing! Absolutely outrageous

Have bought a couple of items from forbidden planet they are okay to shop with never really had a problem with them so far, however their dispatch/arrival takes a little bit of time but still not as bad as some companies. They have limited stock but I always find something I buy regardless of this but there site could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Have used the site a few times and had no problems although orders can take a long while to be sent out.

These people clearly arent interested in doing their job properly, respecting customers or finally, apologizing for being s**t at they job. They cannot be bothered about contacting you about order status or being professional. The only positive is, i got my order cancelled straight after asking. I ordered the same book from ebay which i should have done in the first place. Forbidden planet staff should be forbidden from having access to bank details as they hold no responsibility about anyone's money.

And OK site but very limited product range. The company is also VERY slow to process and despatch orders, things that should take hours take days (to be honest even hours are generous as it should be all automated) and then they send out deliveries on the back of a snail ... which has been covered in treacle.

With an average time of a week to receive a single in stock comic it really is pretty poor in this day and age.
