Jessy, was a pleasure to deal with at a difficult time for me personally. Together, we achieved a better than expected outcome. If I was to be really finicky and with hindsight, it would have been my preference to meet in person at your Derby office for the first meeting. Many thanks Jessy and if I need an employment specialist again (I hope I don’t) you’ll be the first person I call. Regards Stuart

We paid a supplier for an outstanding invoice, Flint Bishop then sent further aggressive communication threatening court action for further payment of interest
We willingly paid the first figure Flint Bishop told us to pay, 5 weeks later this happens!
Outrageous bullying tactics

Probably the most unprofessional and rude company and staff that I've ever had to deal with.
My insurance claim was received by Flint Bishop in March 2023 - a year later I still did not receive my compensation and I am being sent a random email from time to time that they're 'waiting' for third party response etc. It's been 12 months of me trying to call - my agent M. H. seems to be on annual leave 100 times a year as every time I'm trying to contact her she's apparently on holidays 🤷🏼♀️. Not sure how she's an employee that's supposed to work on people's claims if she's off more than she's in.
Her supervisor J. is absolutely rude and useless, doesn't seem interested in doing his job, doesn't respond to emails and is most definitely not a reassuring or polite member of staff.
Most of my emails are unanswered as well as the phone calls.
If I knew the level of 'professionalism' this company represents I'd have never used them. Please don't waste your time and energy on this bunch of unpleasant clowns. It will leave you frustrated and with unanswered questions.

Scam of a company! Harassing me for money for an energy company I have never heard of and certainly never used! They’ve bulling me so much and caused me so much anxiety I have paid £600 just to make them go away, they will bully you they will threaten you, when I am feeling better mentally I will be taking them to court as u have all the proof and evidence that I haven’t used the energy company they have said

Reviews speaking themselves and it reflect this company. No Flint Bishop work here and just adopted an english name so do not expect to see or meet a Flint Bishop. Upon asking that i would like to speak with owner then was not given owners name then insisted a lot the came to know owner is totally different person than name. These people have inferiority complex thats why using english names. Coming to the point that this firm is sending letters to small companies on behalf of British Gas Trading Limited Trading As British Gas Lite, who has not even signed any agreement with our company. I will be complaining to solicitors regulatory authority about their malpractices and misconduct whatever you can name it. They are interested in some money to write letters without obtaining contract copies first from their client. We called this company to know the story and during call We asked do you have a contract copy of our company and British Gas Lite before sending any such threatening letter. Lady had no answer to that. Old company had contract which was gone bust. when we took over business as a new company signed energy contract with a new supplier totally and contract was in place with new supplier. British Gas is making up figure from their own whatever they can and they were supposed to bill old company and not us. This firm is sitting here to act on their behalf without doing due diligence. Can you send such letter to a company who has never signed any contract with this client?

Jessy was very easy to deal with during my recent employment issues. Dialogue was clear and frequent, all of my questions and concerns were answered diligently. Best of all, we got exactly what I wanted from my (previous) employer which I am extremely pleased with. Would recommend Jessy and Flint Bishop in a heart beat.
I am gettin sick to death with these people now. Apparently after being told almost 3 weeks ago the 3rd party has 21 days to pay now apparently I now payment has been authorised for some time in March and this also takes ANOTHER 21 days to process they need to stop letting companies control them and tell the other companies what THEY are going to do instead of letting people "wipe there feet" on them

The fact that almost half of the reviews for this company are 1 star should tell you everything you need to know. Their debt collection processes are awful and it's disappointing to see the 1 star reviews continue to come in yet the response continues to be "please direct your feedback to....." where it obviously continues to be ignored. Hopefully someone soon will start providing a proper response to these reviews and actually taking on board the feedback.

Sending me unjust aggressive threatening emails.
I'm in a payment plan with flint bishop. All is paid on time if not early. Received an email from one of their employees, threatening me with legal action if I don't pay my installment that was already paid. So I put a formal complaint in along with proof they have actually been paid.
I have terrible depression and anxiety. Now what do I do? Now that I have to try and overcome the mental gymnastics I'm doing. Thanks, there goes at least a week of emotional stability.
They obviously don't do their work properly, don't check their systems or facts and didn't even send me proof. I replied with all proofs of payments and depending on how my formal complaint goes I may indeed speak to my lawyer.
Terrible terrible company. Should be shut down.

Absolute nightmare of a company. They threaten you and are unhelpful in trying to resolve a dispute they must work in hand with energy suppliers to try and beat out money of small businesses and not care what damage they do or who’s livelihoods they wreck. Surely that wasn’t part of the oath they took to try and ruin as many businesses as possible

Jessy was absolutely helpful and dealt with my employment matter despite the difficult circumstances in a very professional manner. I would be happy to recommend her and your firm to any of my colleagues/friends etc. Thank you.

They are acting on behalf of a debt collection company which is a scam and they are also threatening with a County Court Claim but let's see how far they are willing to go because they are not going to get anything.

Rude woman phoned our offices looking for another company, when i told her she had the wrong number she asked why she would have our number. I said i don't know as we haven't sent them anything and it sounded like she thought it was my fault that she called the wrong number.

Scumbags won't listen to me despite numerous emails I offered their client what I can afford ,then they doubled it and expected payment right away despite me saying I was between jobs .

Please please please read all of the previous reviews if you are considering using Flint Bishop for anything. TOTALY INCOMPETENT is the only fitting description of these clowns , SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE
This company chasing £75 excess on behalf of auto glass, I have a copy of the policy that clearly shows the excess to be £0 . Left an answerphone message asking them to contact me, no response . Received a 2nd letter today threatening county court . You would think the before they take on a case they would be sure of the facts, clearly not as all they are interested in is the fee. When you ring them up it say for reference numbers beginning with n press 1 for references beginning with m press 2 , my reference begins with a. Incompetent is not strong enough. ( Sh1te )

Sold my mum and dads house. Fb made sure everything went smoothly and without a hitch. Always got good communication from them. They also did mum and dads probate again to a high standard.
Will use again if the need arises.

Absolutely disgusting. These solicitors must be the most incompetent lawyers out there.
Time and time again over the last 2 years I have supplied them with information requested just to be asked again and again for it from different members of staff. Rude, aggressive and totally incompetent.
They do not abide by Commissioner's Office rules & regulations as I have requested 3 times Subject Access Report.
Disappointing Service
Another company out to make a fast buck without actually doing anything. Bought some items online from a well known stationary company who were good back in the day. with a name similar to an ancient invading force from Denmark, Paid this company by Paypal, ( If stating the name Paypal causes Flint Bishop any problems I will re type stating 'Paid via funding source connected to large online auction site) Anyway this company only supplied some of the goods and over charged carriage then emailed reminders for payment, which I replied to stating I had paid by Paypal and received no communication back from them. I have now left many poor reviews online for this company. Sixteen months after this purchase YES 16 received an email and letter chasing payment of this invoice. Supplied Flint Bishop with Payment receipt stating 'Payment Method Paypal. They replied that this was not proof. Searched my emails for the Paypal authorisation and could not find it by searching the suppliers name( I use Paypal most days so have a large amount of emails to search) and after logging into Paypal found all my transactions over 12 months were archived. Flint Bishop would not cover my costs to contact Paypal. Actually turns out that the supplier uses a completely different company name with Paypal. You would of expected once I supplied Flint Bishop with this document stating the payment method, they would have contacted the supplier to see why it was issued in the first place? or informed me of this companies other name?, If they had I could have found the Paypal authorisation in my emails and see that it was not 'captured' by the supplier, but NO they done nothing except tried to add their fee to the so called outstanding invoice I then wrote to the suppliers UK office as their call centre is operated by poorly trained personel and no help as I have learnt from previous experience dealing with them They replied that they 'moved my order to invoice' They had not told me previous to this and by doing so avoided paying Paypal their fees. ( Paypal have been informed as I can find nothing in Paypal's terms and conditions which allows this) They actually moved it to invoice within 5 days of purchase. Paypal allow 28 days to capture payments so they had no excuse.
Excellent service from Flint Bishop and Maria Hanif in particular
