Flat Pack Charlie Reviews

Paul is brilliant, we'd asked him to put of several wardrobes and units in the garage. His workmanship is exceptional and I'd recommend him without hesitation.

I can't recommend Paul at Flatpack Charlie highly enough. He did a fantastic, professional job installing several IKEA drawers and trays, and the quality of his work was excellent.

From the moment he arrived, Paul consulted me every step of the way, making sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. He checked the height I wanted the pull-out trays installed, asked which side I preferred the controls on my IKEA MITTZON desk, and took the time to explain everything before starting.

I mentioned that one of my hallway door hinges kept popping out. Paul immediately recognised that the doors had been fitted with the wrong type of hinges and that one of them was broken. He replaced them with the correct hinges, and the doors now close much flatter and better than before. He also noticed that the IKEA wardrobe doors were missing the small cushioning pads and fitted those too without me even mentioning it. It's that level of attention to detail that really sets him apart.

Paul also spotted that my IKEA corner wardrobe was missing a trim piece, which explained the large gap that had always bothered me. He told me exactly which replacement part to order from IKEA, so I can finally get rid of it. He then explained that the wardrobe also had the wrong hinges fitted. IKEA makes specific hinges for corner wardrobes that allow the doors to open much further, so I won't have to squeeze through the limited opening I've been putting up with. I had no idea this was even an issue until Paul pointed it out.

Paul arrived on time, was responsive to emails, fitted me in at short notice, came fully prepared, and wore shoe covers throughout to protect my home.

It's easy to see why Paul has so many five-star reviews. He's incredibly knowledgeable, takes real pride in his work, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done properly. I'll definitely be booking him again to fit the correct corner wardrobe hinges and install the replacement trim piece.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Flatpack Charlie to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional service. Supporting a local business that genuinely cares about the quality of its work is an added bonus.

Thank you, Paul!

Highly recommended. Process of obtaining a quote and booking in visit was incredibly easy. Paul turned up on time, was courteous, professional and we couldn't be happier with the work. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Fpc is a great service. Very efficient and work carried out to a high standard. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who has neither the time nor the patience to put together ikea wardrobes

Had paul round today after 2 blokes couldn’t manage to sort a wardrobe between them after days of struggling to get it level and make the doors even and match up…paul came round and got the job done completely on his own in no time! ..with no issues at all! He knew exactly what he was doing and what the problems was, he was so professional and really informative, he even did a few extra things we missed! will definitely be using flat pack Charlie again and will be recommending to friends and family, thank you so much x

Had flat pack Charlie assemble our ikea wardrobe. Highly recommend, good pricing, professional, tidy, respectful of our home, left a nice neat tidy pile of rubbish in one area. Good communication prior to arrival. Good proper traditional tradesman

Absolutely brilliant service. Paul is friendly, efficient and great at what he does. Couldn’t believe how quick he got the job done. He’s incredibly professional and tidy. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

I hired Paul to assemble three Ikea beds. He did a fantastic job. He finished the assembly quickly, and to a top standard. He was friendly and courteous. Overall, I thought the service was excellent. I would highly recommend Paul's services.

Paul arrived on time and took great care in putting my bed together

On time, care & respect for my home, he got on with the assembly with minimal distraction to myself. Cleaned up everything when he was finished and went out of his way to ensure everything was just right.

Very impressed and will 100% use again.

Excellent service, job completed quickly and perfectly, good price and he even bagged up all the rubbish. Fab service would definitely use again. Highly recommend

Paul was excellent. I was let down by someone else and desperately needed wardrobes and various bits of furniture put together before moving into my new flat. He rearranged his day at relatively short notice and got it all done for me. Professional, careful, and a really nice guy who also taught me lots of tips and tricks and helped me sort out an issue with missing parts from one of my orders. I can't recommend him enough.

We were recommended Paul because we were having some work done and needed to move several wardrobes. Paul was thoroughly professional from start to finish and even improved some issues from when I put them together!
I can't thank Paul enough and recommend him to anyone.

I initially booked for one wardrobe to be built, but then asked for 2 which wasn’t an issue. I wanted it done as soon as possible and I was booked in within a few days. It would’ve taken me days to build the wardrobes but Paul with his skills did them both within 4 hours! I was amazed and they were out together perfectly, far better than I would’ve done them! The cost is also very reasonable. Paul is professional, polite and prompt. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Wow - I can’t believe there is someone like Paul around. The answer to our flat pack prayers! So so happy with the results, will absolutely be using again and telling all our friends and family.

Brilliant service from start to finish with flat pack Charlie. Two wardrobes and a chest of drawers built and we are both so happy with results 😁

I can highly recommend Paul, he came to dismantle a wardrobe as we were having a carpet fitted & he returned to put it back together once the carpet was laid. I have to say the wardrobe is now securely fixed to the wall & positioned far better than the initial installation. He also rearranged the shelving & rails which has given us so much more space for our clothes etc. I wish we had known about Paul when we initially had our wardrobe installed. Paul’s attention to detail when he dismantled it was impressive as everything was labelled & boxed, he also carried it into another room. Paul is a really nice guy & goes above & beyond.

Paul put together various household items. Punctual and he did a very good job and was great value for money. I would 100% use again and certainly recommend to anyone.

I can't speak highly enough about the really excellent service I've received. My wardrobe was built in a couple of hours, Paul is very thorough and does a great job. After he left I realized I'd had it built in the wrong place! I asked him if he could help and he came back and had it moved in no time! Highly recommended.

What a nice guy and what a brilliant job. I could not be happier with the fantastic job Paul has done and would highly recommend.
