AVOID AVOID AVOID !! Holy smokes ! I was warned about this place 3-4 years ago, I didn't listen, I thought they cant be that corrupt- Boy was I wrong, talk about thee ultimate bait & switch tactics, just a remarkably morally bankrupt establishment...They make street thugs & thieves look like Mother Teresa, what an absolute shakedown. Wasted hours of my time to boot, now I have to spend 10x as much in time & money to undo this mess. Of course, ask for a manager & they play games, he's not around, he's on vacation, he's pregnant, you know that kinda thing, LIES ! They say we will get back to in 2 business days, ya sure buddy. They won't even give the name of the manager yet they want my full name, address, phone number & email ect. WHAT A JOKE !!

Not happy

I went to 151 Levitown Parkway which I had got tires from before and didn’t have an issue. Also replace the tire in Firestone in the Poconos when I got a flat and the customer service there was awesome so I decided to return and get a oil change and get my tires rotated that they told me I would get free because I had purchased tires there before when I came in for my appointment. The young man asked me what kind of oil do I use? I had never been asked that before I thought a mechanic place would know or look it up so I looked it up on my phone and I felt kind of weird then then they told me my car was all done and I’ll get in my car and look at my speedometer, which tells me my tire pressure and I could tell my tires have not been moved so I go back in the manager seemed annoyed when he seen me walk back in, so a young lady came in and helped me who helped me before when I purchased the tires she took care of everything immediately and told me she was very sorry. Did this happen? I was not happy with Firestone today and this was the most expensive oil change I have ever had so I will not be returning to them. I will go to my old mechanic. I don’t want someone to be annoyed when I’m spending my money and expecting a service that wasn’t done.

This place absolutely sucks

This place absolutely sucks. I don’t want to have to get into it all again but I have made a detailed review on bbb and on yelp and google for the Carlsbad ca - el Camino location. Basically it took multiple visits to get my brakes fixed and still never was done properly. On top of making me wait in store for 8 hours! Reading reviews and talking to peers it seems a lot of people have had terrible experiences with this company not just that specific location

INCOMPLETE SERVICE:

James Wright
492 Willard Ave, Atlanta, Georgia
May 18, 2026

Consumer Complaint Division
Firestone Complete Auto Care
200 4th Avenue South
Nashville, TN 37201

Subject: Complaint (Incomplete Work / Refund Refusal)
Store Number: # 029076
Invoice Number: #338478
File Number: #2972067
FACT:
On May 14, 2026, I brought my vehicle, 2015 Nissan Armada SL, to the Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 201A Perimeter Center PKWY NE, Atlanta, GA. 30346-1313 for a Diagnostic Service.
Unfortunately, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my service because the service was inadequate or the vehicle sustained incomplete work. After the diagnostic was complete, the Service Advisor gave me a detailed report outlining the codes detected, the root-cause of the issue or why the check engine light was on (“Hesitation, Backfires, and Rough Idle”), and a recommended estimate of the parts and labor required to fix the problem with my SUV. I asked the Service Advisor or Store Manager in regards to his recommendation and accordance to the diagnostic report would a replaced WIDEBAND 02, and removing and replacing A MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR solves the problem with my SUV and he told me “YES”.
Because the Service Advisor or Store Manager assured me that by replacing my “WIDEBAND 02 SENSOR” and removing and replacing a” MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR” that it would solve the problem with the “Hesitation, Backfires, and Rough Idle” of my SUV, I agree to allow the Service Advisor or Store Manager’s technician to work on my SUV. After my SUV was supposedly being fixed, the “Service Advisor or Store Manager and Technician” stated, to me, that my SUV was fixed and running smoothly. Then, I paid a total of $884.88 for their service. However, when I turned on the ignition, I noticed that my SUV was still Backfiring and Idling Rough. I immediately contacted the Service Manager, and he (Store Manager) asked the technician to look at the problem and the technician told me to bring my SUV back tomorrow (May 15, 2026).
The next day the Store Manager gave me an unbelievable statement: “We recommend addressing exhaust system issues before addressing any other issues that may exist.’’ If the exhaust system was an issue before working on my SUV, why was I not informed of this issue before the work was done or why works on my SUV before addressing, to me, any other issues that may exist? Later that day, I took my SUV back to S&S Muffler and Brake Shop where I had my exhaust system work on six (6) months ago. S&S Muffler and Brake Shop, through their 12-month guarantee services, checked the exhaust system of my SUV and they concluded “THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF A FAULTY EXHAUST SYSTEM.”
INCOMPLETE SERVICE:
It was never about the cost; it was about the quality of service rather than the cost. Firestone Complete Auto Care Policy guarantees that their work is right the first time and honors warranties. However, I paid Firestone Complete Auto Care $884.88 dollar for an incomplete service or work. I have not received any written communication or receipts from Firestone regarding the repairs or their refusal to provide further service or a refund. I paid $884.88 for repairs that did not fix my SUV. I still have hesitation, backfires, and rough idle issues.
FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE
PRINCIPLE:
“The primary purpose of an engine diagnostic at ‘FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE’ is to ‘PINPOINT’ exactly why your check engine light is on.”
A diagnostic at ‘FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE’ includes the following steps:
RETRIEVING THE CODES: A technician connects a professional scan tool to your car’s On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-11) port to pull the specific diagnostic trouble code (DTC) stored in your vehicle’s computer.
THE ROOT-CAUSE ANALYSIS: The code acts as the ‘TIP OF THE ICEBERG.’ It tells the technician which system is acting up (like emission, fuel, or ignition), but it requires further testing to find the actual failing component.”

Resolution:
To resolve the problem, I would like Firestone Complete Auto Care to refund my money for $884.88. On the other hand, Firestone Complete Auto Care should complete the necessary repairs properly at no additional charge, in regards to the “YES” statement made by the Service Advisor and Technician, to me, that if they replace the 02 SENSOR and remove and replace the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR that it would fix my SUV problem.

Hazard Warranty is not worth it compared to Discount Tires

I’ll start with the good:

- Good customer service
- Fast and reliable service

Now for the bad:

For a tire store, their hazard warranty is disappointing. They prorate the tires if you get a road hazard and need a replacement tire, whereas Discount Tire would replace the tire at no cost under their hazard coverage. They also told me that if one tire needed replaced, I would have to replace all the tires on the vehicle. Again, Discount Tire would simply replace the damaged tire if needed.

I bought these tires less than a year ago and was told I needed new tires because they claimed there was a nail in one of them. I decided to handle it myself instead. After inspecting the tire, I never found a nail, and it turned out the issue was actually a broken TPMS sensor. The tire was not losing air at all, which really makes me question their diagnosis.

Disappointed due to dishonesty …

For several years I have been taking my car to Firestone every year for an annual check up and all necessary repairs and maintenances. I tried 3 different shops. Finally on May 2026 I had the last experience with these people and I would never step in their shops again.
My reasons:
1- They broke my engine cover (BMW) , then tried to fix it with glue unsuccessfully and didn't tell me anything about that. I found out several months later when I opened the hood accidentally. I was too modest (should say stupid) to make any complain about it because i thought it was too late by then.
2- They charged me for replacing the AIR FILTER with a new one,but later( in 4 months) I realized the air filter was very old and dirty. Apparently they had never replaced it, so I had to take the car to another shop and they confirmed that the air filter had not been replaced for a very long time.
3- Every year that I took the car for annual checkups, they provided a long list of the so called necessary repairs, etc. and charged me atleast $900.00 - 1500.00 each time for some services that later I found out that was not necessary at all. In fact the original BMW parts which were still in a good codition were removed from my car ( like windshields) and replaced with some non original parts with less quality comparing to the original ones.
I trusted Firestone Technicians/staff %100 and they took advantage of my trust and lack of knowledge.

MAYBE JUST BECAUSE I WAS A WOMAN WITH NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE CARS.
NEVER EVER TRUST THEM AGAIN.

Take your vehicle somewhere else where…

Take your vehicle somewhere else where they won't damage it. I took my van in for rotation and balance. I noticed the tech lifting it up and setting it down, 4 times. What I didn't realize until I got my vehicle back is that they bent my door pans and cracked my windsheild. When I got it back I noticed the damage and went back inside, no one was there. I was going to be late for my appointment, so I decided to take off, and immediately called, Josh told me to come back Thursday because the manager was gone. I went back on Thursday and talked to the manager, who immediately looked up and smiled and told me he wasn't going to pay for the windsheild, this pissed me off. I started cussing him at this point and he threw me out of the shop. This manager is Grayson Wood, he has no business being a manager, his customer service skills are terrible. I call the corporate office and they have a adjuster call me back, only to tell me since I left that day, they are no longer responsible for the damage. They have also gave my insurance company the runaround. They have lost thousands of dollars of my business, which I have been going there for 10 years. This is unacceptable, and I'm probably going to have to take them to small claims court to get reimbursed for the damage they've caused. When you close my driver door it hits metal to metal. Don't bring your vehicle here, they will disappoint you.

Georgetown Firestone

Before I tell you about my recent experience let me tell you my experience back in Jan 2026. I was very upset that tires pressures were way off what they should be and my windshield washer fluid was bone dry.So this time I specifically told the care agent to be sure and check tire pressures with the tire rotation. I told him that my van requires different psi on front and back.I get home and my tire pressures should be 51,51, 72 72. They were 60 55 65 and 45.Also they send your receipt to email and when I checked there is not a word about an oil change OR brake measrements OR tire tread depth. I pd for oil change. I dont even have what type oil they used.I agreed to recommended service of brake fluid exchange and fuel system flush and two tires but after seeing that they cannot put in correct tire pressures how can I trust the mechanic with anything. I will never rerurn to Firestone again. Also had to wait extra hr for a certain bay.

Firestone caused major damage to my…

Firestone caused major damage to my car, They caused a major oil leak that was caused by the front gasket saturating the coils and spark plugs. This caused major damage to my car. There were several other items that they said they did and did not, as I brought the car to the dealer and they showed me. Do not bring your car to Firestone or Tires Plus. They do not do the work you pay for and then deny it. Corporate is Bridgestone and they automatically deny it.

Damage and Fraud

Firestone damaged two rims on my new truck. Pryed two center caps off that bolt on. Tore up the face on both rims and they tried to lie and tell me that they broke my valve stem and would take a few days to get one. They replaced the rims and damaged one of the new rims. It’s over a year later and their “ senior clams adjuster” John Tumey continues to ignore me after only offering to resurface the rim. My truck was less than a year old and I’m not settling for that so now he just ignores me. John Tumey used to work at Disney world prior to Firestone and has no experience. I’ve repeatedly demanded to speak to his boss and he continues to ignore me . Don’t go to Firestone and if your vehicle was damaged call an attorney asap and take them to court. They committed fraud with my vehicle and now they’re going to pay !

Absolutely terrible company to deal…

Absolutely terrible company to deal with, managers have zero care about your cars well being and want to just slam services down your throat to hit "there" numbers i heard 3 upfront workers all talking about what they needed to do to hit there numbers for the day, then I watched 5 people get the same recommendations for coolant flushes, fuel cleanings and air filters, I started talking to the people/customers in the waiting room and everyone of them said the same thing. How can all of us need the same services.? Left with the same problems i had going in there and all they wanted to do was sell me shit I didnt need. Horrible place i will never go back. If you going to pay there outrageous labor rate just go to the dealer and have peice of mind so the 20yr old kid in the back doesnt mess your vehicle up

Honesty is the best Policy

On the 8th of April I took my Yukon to Firestone for AC problems, a day before it wasn't blowing cold air. So when I drove it for my appointment on the 8th I never checked to see if it was blowing cold air. Once I got there, they inspected everything and I was told that it was ok. I was expecting to pay out of pocket at least 300.00 or more but they said it was ok because it was blowing cold air and they had put the AC through 2 different kind of test that showed everything good. They were completely honest, they could have taken advantage of me but they didn't. I will be coming here to the Firestone on Saw Mill Drive in Tupelo for EVERYTHING CONCERNING MY PERSONAL VEHICLES

On March 31st

On March 31st, I visited Firestone Complete Auto Care in Benton, AR after noticing a slight vibration in my steering wheel from a pothole I had hit weeks earlier. While there, I requested an alignment and tire rotation (which I’m entitled to for the life of the vehicle).

Later that day, I was told everything was complete. During their courtesy check, they recommended a new battery, which I agreed to. I was charged about $300 for the replacement.

Immediately after leaving, my car drove significantly worse — the steering wheel was shaking left to right as if I were driving on gravel. I called the store right away and was told they had checked everything and test driven the vehicle, and that it was fine. There was no concern shown.

The next day, I took my car to Baxley’s Auto, a shop I trust. They found that three of my wheels were not properly tightened and told me they were surprised I made it there safely, especially after driving on the highway. This was a serious safety issue that could have resulted in a catastrophic accident.

At that point, I chose not to escalate things. I simply felt grateful nothing worse happened.

However, after leaving an honest review (which Firestone had requested via email), I received a call from the manager that completely changed my perspective.

He initially expressed concern — but then claimed the shop never performed the tire rotation and did not touch my wheels at all, despite me being told the service was completed. He stated they only did an alignment and battery replacement.

When I asked how loose wheels wouldn’t have been noticed during an alignment or test drive, he insisted they wouldn’t need to touch the tires for an alignment and that the vehicle drove fine during testing.

Then the conversation took a shocking turn.

He told me — very seriously — that he believed someone might be targeting me and could have intentionally loosened my lug nuts to sabotage my vehicle. He asked if I had anyone at work or in my personal life who might want to harm me.

For context: my car is kept in a garage at home, parked in a secure garage at work, and my wheels have locking lug nuts that require a key.

This explanation was not only unrealistic, it felt like a complete attempt to deflect responsibility. The call ended with him stating they were not responsible in any way.

I never asked for compensation. I only shared my experience.

But after that conversation, I feel compelled to speak up.

This situation involved:

A potentially life-threatening safety issue

Conflicting information about what services were actually performed

A complete lack of accountability

And one of the most unprofessional and bizarre explanations I’ve ever received from a business

Mistakes can happen. But how a business responds matters — and this response was unacceptable.

I would strongly caution others to double-check any work done here, especially when it involves your safety.

I’m extremely disappointed with my…

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience and the complete lack of professionalism and follow-up from this location.

A few days prior to my visit, I went online, entered my vehicle information (2021 VW Jetta), and was quoted a price of $122.99 for a wheel alignment. Based on that information, I scheduled my appointment.

Upon arriving and checking in, I was informed that the price would be well over $200 simply because my car is a Volkswagen. I explained that I had already entered my vehicle information online and was quoted $122.99. The staff initially refused to honor that price. To confirm, I repeated the process on my phone, received the same quote again, and showed it to the representative.

After going back and forth, I stated that I no longer wished to proceed and wanted to leave. At that point, I was told that the alignment had already been performed. However, shortly after, I overheard another employee say, “You know maybe we shouldn’t do his alignment,” which directly contradicted what I had just been told. That alone raised serious concerns. I again asked for my vehicle back, and only then was I told they would honor the original $122.99 price.

About 10 minutes later, I was charged the $122.99. The technician then came out and told me he “couldn’t really align the car” due to what was “probably” a bad front control arm, and that he “did what he could.”

This raises several serious concerns:
• Why was I charged for an alignment that apparently could not properly be performed?
• Shouldn’t a technician inspect for worn or damaged suspension components before proceeding with an alignment?
• If a front control arm was potentially bad, why was I not informed before any work was done?
• How was a four-wheel alignment supposedly completed in approximately 30 minutes, which is significantly less time than expected?
• Why was I told the alignment had already been completed, only to hear an employee suggest that it shouldn’t be done?
• Why couldn’t the technician clearly explain the issue instead of saying “probably” a bad control arm?

The entire experience was confusing, inconsistent, and unprofessional. I could understand being charged a diagnostic or inspection fee for time spent, but being charged for a full alignment that the technician himself admitted could not be properly completed is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was told I would need to pay for another full alignment after replacing the control arm.

What’s even more frustrating is the complete lack of follow-up. I was told multiple times that the store manager would be reaching out to address this situation. That never happened. I was then assured that the area/regional manager would contact me—again, nothing. It has now been weeks of me calling and trying to get a response, and I have been completely ignored. I’ve provided my information numerous times (invoice number, name, tel number and address at their customer service website to have a call returned to address the problem and nothing) Don’t fall for these “I’m so sorry to hear responses on here as they are generic and out of touch responses. No one calls back.

At this point, it’s not just about the service—it’s about the lack of accountability and basic customer care. Promising follow-up and failing to deliver repeatedly is unacceptable.

I would not recommend this location based on both the service I received and how they handle customer concerns. I will continue going up the ladder and not stop until someone is held responsible.
