Great After Sales Service

The product (Dru Evolve 130) was sold at a very competitive price and the sales teams arranged delivery with the supplier which arrived on time. With a couple of minor issues (supplier issues not Fires2u), Kieran provided an excellent service with email responses on the same day (often within the same hour). I could not be happier with the product and the after sales service. Thank you so much Fires2u.

The response I have received from…

The response I have received from Fires2u regarding my complaint is truly shocking . They said I had exceptional service , this is simply not true . Staff are rude , unhelpful and clearly do not read the communications their customer service team send out . I can assure anyone thinking about using this company , they will not take responsibility for their poor service . Please think twice about buying a fireplace as it will be dumped outside your house , you won't be able to lift it , and you will have to fight to get a full refund. Their website does not highlight the weight of their products . If you are an older customer please ensure you look for a company that delivers to your door . Three relatively healthy men could not lift the fireplace I had ordered .

Quality Fireplace - at a great price!

I bought the Coniston Limestone fire surround, communication was great regarding questions and it arrived expertly crated on a pallet about two weeks later. I was phoned regarding delivery and kept informed as to progress. The fire surround is top quality limestone, pre-finished and already fitted with wall brackets for safety. It's extremely heavy and manoeuvering the pieces into place took two strong men. Construction was straight forward using Vitcas heat resistant tile adhesive/mortar/grout and the finished surround looks magnificent. In conclusion Fires2u had the best price on the internet and their service was excellent.

Good friendly service

Unfortunately the company can't deliver to Ireland, but redirection to a UK address delivered promptly in spite of earlier notification of four weeks delivery time. Also follow up re missing component (from manufacturer) dealt with expeditiously and courteously. Communications were with Kieran.

Don't buy from them - did not fully refund me

I bought a fireplace from this company which was not in stock - when i realised the day after the purchase that it was not in stock (less than 24hours) and it will take 3 weeks to be delivered, I asked them to cancel my order which they did. It took them 7 days to refund me and when i checked my bank account they had taken away a £35 fee for processing the order (which to repeat was not in stock). Under the Consumer Credit Act, first we should be able customers to cancel an order within a short timeframe, second there is nothing on their side that could explain a £35 fee given the order was cancelled immediately. I am currently renovating a house and am going through a lot of online purchases, I have never experienced a company retaining a fee when an order that is not in stock is cancelled. There are plenty of shops selling fire items, don't buy from them.

Thank you for your review. When receiving a review such as this we like to fill in the blank spaces the reviewer seems to leave out.
This order was for a Gallery Asquith Limestone surround, a large item delivered by pallet. On the delivery details on the page for this item on our site it clearly states 2-3 weeks for delivery. If you visit our site you will see the delivery details shown on the page for this particular item explaining how the goods would be delivered and the time scale. If you google this product you will see most sites showing this item quote a similar delivery timescale as ourselves.

The item was ordered online on Tuesday 10/06/25 in the afternoon when our offices were open. We receive many calls and emails when customers have read the delivery details to see if they can arrange a quicker delivery as they need them prior to the advised delivery date and we will advise them if this is possible or not, this customer did not contact us prior to ordering.

The customer emailed our offices on Wednesday 11/06/25 requesting a delivery date. We advised the customer of the delivery timescale and also pointed out the delivery details on our site for this item by email on Wednesday 11/06/25. The customer chose to cancel the order by email on Thursday 12/06/25 not the day after placing the order as claimed in the review.

We advised the customer by email on the 13/06/25 that the order had been cancelled and we would issue a refund less the processing fee we had been charged by their chosen payment option. Included in that email were the details showing the amount and reason for the deducted amount. This fee was £36.05. This amount is deducted from the amount we receive and is not refunded to us if the order is cancelled by the customer when we issue a refund. This amount varies between card providers. This is clearly advised of in our terms and conditions which the customer agreed to when placing there order. We carried out the refund on Tuesday 17/06/25 after many emails from the customer disputing the details set out above, but as previously stated they are clearly shown on our site and do not differ from those on other e commerce sites. We have had no financial gain from this transaction. Various emails were then sent from the customer advising us they would be doing a negative Trust Pilot Review and contacting various organisations by end of day if we did not give them a full refund.

As a company we feel we have acted in good faith and have not tried to hide anything from the customer either prior to there purchase or in subsequent correspondence by email.

Exceptional service and price.

Bought a gas fire from this company and didn’t get to install it for 20 months. We found we had a left hand cover and needed a right hand cover. I contacted the company and within 20 hours the right hand cover is my hall. I’ve never experienced such exceptional service and price.

Happy Customer

From the initial enquiry for information with Chris to ordering the fire with Emma everything was straight forward.
Your staff are both polite and informative nothing was too much trouble for them even on the more basic questions.
I recommend your company to any one wanted to purchase a replacement or new gas fire.

First time buyer....but very pleased

First time we have ordered such a large item from internet without viewing it first. Delivery was exactly as described 3 to 4 weeks. Delivery day came and fire and surround was delivered. Very pleased with the fire and surround. Good quality and looks fabulous. Was not initially keen on having an app on phone tovturn fire om and off..but think that is great now!!!
