Oak fire surround
After ordering my fireplace, the company got in touch to ask if a rebate was required. This was something I hadn’t known about. They informed me that if I didn’t know immediately it is something that could be done at the time of fitting. Delivery was earlier than expected and the driver brought it in and let us inspect it and explain how to fit it. Good communication throughout

First class product and service.
The whole experience was first class. Completely stress free with reassuring confidence when dealing with my enquiries. I had precise requirements and every aspect was considered, evaluated and confirmed in a timely manner. Fitting was also stress free,clean,tidy and with a fully informed handover. All the staff from sales to manufacture and fitting where knowledgeable of their product, polite and courteous at all times. Excellent product and service.Thank you

Great products, reasonably priced
Great products, reasonably priced and fantastic customer service. However, I was surprised that the shelf was slightly marked when I received it as if it has got damaged in transit (I would have expected something like this to be carefully wrapped but it was just handed to me as a piece of wood on the doorstep). Thankfully, a bit of wax and the marks all came out but wasn't expecting to have to do this, given it was already waxed

Purchased a custom size oak fire…wow
Purchased a custom size oak fire surround the whole experience from the start was the best online shopping service I have come accross
Their customer service is second to none.... delivery was excellent and the product "wow over the moon"
It's a shame that there are not other companies that can give this kind of service out there

Great product and customer service
We ordered oak fire surround in February 2024 to replace our existing surround that was 25 years old. We had concerns the new surround would fit but the company explained the measurements needed to ensure a perfect fit. They were correct. Their customer services also helped with queries about fitted downlights and waxing to look after the oak. Overall great service. Highly recommend.

One of the holes in the beam was not drilled deep enough, which is a bit of a problem as I did not have a drill bit long enough to drill it out.

Stylish fire surround.
We loved the stylish look of the fire. When it was delivered it didn't disappoint. Great product from a very trustworthy supplier. They gave us a timeframe for delivery and they managed to deliver well within that.
The fireplace was good quality with a set of detailed fitting instructions. Their delivery driver pointed out that if we get stuck to ring the company for additional help and information. Couldn't fault 'Designer Fireplaces'. First class service from ordering to delivery. Very happy customers.
