They’ve intentionally locked my account citing that it’s locked due to too many incorrect attempts—but my password hasn’t changed and has been the same password the entirety of my account. Then their reset password feature conveniently doesn’t work. Then, you call any of their numbers—magically, you end up getting hung up on. You can’t access your account from the app either! My payments were on time until they started locking accounts and from what I read, it’s happening to many!!! Obviously, because Fingerhut went under, they’re forcing accounts into default/collections to collect interest and late fees! So, I’m not paying that account because that’s FRAUD and a scam and they’re ruining my credit and it’s not FAIR

3 months I've been trying to cancel safeline 30 dollar a month fee. I never signed up for safeline, I DON'T WANT SAFELINE and they ignore the electronic and verbal requests to cancel it. It tells you it's canceled but it's right back the next month.

Fingerhut has locked me out to pay my bill, that's if I even owe a bill. They will not send me paper bills. I waited on the phone tried to get them to unlock my account or give me customer number to no avail. The people speak barely English asked me some security question that I did not set up, would not take my payment. What am I supposed to do?

Fingerhut has added this screen for Safeline a program they offer right as you login and there is no way to get around it to access my account information or make a payment. I will never ever get anything from fingerhut! That place should be shut down they are crooks. I sent a dated money order on the 14 they paid it 2 days past my due date and charged me the same amount on late fees. I’ve been a paying customer for over 4 years. Absolutely the worst firm .....ever. So , as I've noted previously ...in Sept , due to surgery , hospitalization , I missed a payment ....first time in 8-9 years . Called them to let them know why .....so , I expected , at worst , to simply move my billing forward , as every other firm / credit card company I deal with ....have done . Nope ...they have expected me to pay 2 months in one , refuse to accept any payment other than what they billed , and have taken each of my last three payments .....as late fees . I sent a written letter to their billing disputes dept ......they sent me an email today ......telling me to .....send them a written letter . I called them .....told them I will not make another payment until they fix their screwed up billing .

Rude agents who will lie and say they are resolving issues and do not. They had my checking info on file which was a huge mistake on my behalf. Do they charged me back to back which when I called they pretended like they did nit see any transactions. I even offered to send them proof. I talked to 6 agents with no resolution not to mention they are nasty people. One even told me to call the bank instead of them and says she cannot remove my checking info. I assume to commit fraud etc. So I called my bank and explained and they will do a dispute and change checking info. They are outsourced to somewhere in the Middle East and only know how to read a script. There are cheaper and better catalog places out here trust me. Please dont mess with these crazy people

FIRST FINGERHUT WAS GREAT AND EVERYTHING WAS GOING GREAT AND THEN THEY JUST SHUT IT ALL DOWN NOT LETTING ANYONE LOOK AT THEIR ACCOUNT BALANCE BUT THEY WANT THE MONEY YOU OWE THEM THOUGH BUT DON'T ALLOW YOU TO CHECK TO SEE IF THAT'S WHAT YOU OWE OR IF IT'S LESS!!

Excellent, patient service. Even when I was frustrated with a problem, they remained calm and resolved everything to my satisfaction.

I held a Fingerhut card for over 10 years, maybe 15. I never ran up big bills on my account and I used the account sparingly. I had a credit limit of just under $3000 and it didn't bother me in the least that my credit limit was pretty low. I never ran the balance up on it. I don't think I ever held a $200 balance, in fact. I kept the account open merely as an active account for credit reporting purposes. Fingerhut recently closed the accounts of both me and my wife, who had her own account with them, because we were "inactive". It's caused a fairly noticeable ding on my credit report but that will disappear in time so whatever. They don't give a crap about customers credit reports! They just suck!
I'm not going to miss this crappy outfit in the least. I used to get these ridiculous emails stating how very impressed they were for keeping my account in such great shape; I was an excellent customer! HA!
The truth is that they sell merchandise at an extremely over-inflated price, charge high interest rates and then bend you over on the shipping charges. $20 shipping for a package of a few dish towels? Not going to happen. Some time ago they offered a pair of KEF M500 headphones for a price marked up by $100 from the price of $299 that all other retailers were selling them for, and they even included FREE shipping. Not Fingerhut! Fingerhut was charging $399 and then adding ridiculously stupid shipping charges. They can SUCK it!
They used to send emails to inform their customers that they needed to make a purchase or face having their account closed. Not anymore. Good-bye, Fingerhut. I wouldn't recommend your operation to anyone. You don't even sell quality items!

I been a customer for a long time and always on time on my payments and pay in full until I make a purchase . Well it come to mind that on 10/25/2025 I got a notification they close my account.i was surprised they did that never got a letter just only saying I got increase credit. I always order starting in November for Christmas. When I got that notification it made me feel I did something wrong I thought company’s like customers continue buying things when they need to but not everyday . I got dinged on my credit score because of them I was very disappointed and never thought Fingerhut Fetti was like that never again trust them they lost a customer for good I give them a 1 Star poor judgment in their part .

fingerhut is a rip off. GO walmart or amazon they charge to much for this junk that don't last .save your money because you get nowhere but in debt. It should be illegal.They was supposed to credit me for a kitchen table instead they sent me another one and charged me, I have one kitchen don't do it. And always get someone on phone with little english.so freaking annoyed.

If I could give Fingerhut a zero rating, I would I bought a Bissell vacuum from them four months and the roller brush stopped working. I bought another Bissell from them thinking it was just a fluke no the second Bisso, vacuum exact vacuum had the same problem. But would not reimburse me for both even though they had the same problem.. peace of sh!t company that rips you off on low quality items. Never order from them. Failure that will never happen again.

No stars! Bought a couple of things from Fingerhut and returned them! This was a year ago and they never gave me credit for the items I returned and they are still trying to charge me to this day! Whatever you do don’t buy from these clowns they even went as far as to put a bad mark on my credit! Tried to call customer service 4 times and all of them acted with so much ignorance!
