Ridiculous

I’m 24 years old, I lost my mum on the 1st of march out of the blue (she was the last of my family) and this company can do anything other than pay out the policy money so I can lay her to rest. I have rang multiple times all they tell me is their having ‘technical issues’ when trying to send me a claims form? This has been going on over 2 weeks now yet they were quick enough to issue a check for a £1.06 refund my mother overpaid, absolutely ridiculous and heart wrenching

Why has 2 years of the money you've had, hmmm

Be cautious

Be cautious. Introductory offers are not honoured. Argos vouchers should have been paid for a new policy. Several months later, they claim the offer ended in April 2019 - I took out my policy in November 2019 and their promotion was displayed on their site.

Update: they accepted their error that information on the site was in error and therefore have agreed to issue the £50 Argos voucher. My policy will remain cancelled.

Little integrity...though now sorted.

Update: company admitted their error and have sent a Argos £50 voucher.

I have been forced to cancel a policy with this company out of concerns over their integrity. My policy was taken out when a Argos voucher offer was being made. The company are refusing to honour the voucher offer and claim, despite the evidence, that the offer finished April 2019...I took out my policy with the Argos offer displayed in November 2019. Their handling is poor. I will pursue the matter further. It appears others have had problems with this company too. I would steer clear.

Been a month and still waiting!

My dad passed on the 7th March. It’s now the 8th April and I’ve contacted FiftyLife 4 times now to try and get his policy paid out to help with his funeral costs. Been promised payment 3 times, now waiting on the 4th promise to be fulfilled - time will tell.

He also had a policy with Sunlife. Contacted SunLife and policy paid out within a week.

I know who I’d recommend.
