I ordered lawn top dressing. Delivered on time and excellent quality in ideal condition for use. It was well packed so that it didn't get spoiled in the rain. Very happy.

I’ve ordered from Field Compost several times over the last few years, most recently their No.12 Nutrimulch. As always this delivery was prompt and delivered to the requested spot without a hitch. The Nutrimulch is excellent quality, beautifully crumbly and steaming with no lumps, stones or rubbish. Since using Field Compost mulches my soil quality has improved with less weeds and more worms.

I’ve used Field Compost for a few years now and they never disappoint. Their team are friendly and helpful, and delivery is always very prompt. The quality of the mulch is also excellent, easy to spread and protects and nourishes my plants over winter.

I ordered a bulk bag of the Field No.4 Organic Fine Grade Lawn Dressing. Absolutely wonderful stuff. It was indeed ‘fine grade’ with no waste whatsoever and easy to apply. It came very well packaged meaning it was protected from the rain and from the point of ordering to delivery, I was kept informed. The delivery driver was able to park the pallet exactly where I wanted.

Great compost, very fine and no bits of plastics, metal etc as you find with other composts.

Will def use again

I find the mulch supplied by fieldcompost.co.uk to be a great natural way of nourishing and protecting plants, as well as improving soil quality. Gratefully, I am a regular customer now.

I first contacted Field Compost to enquire which product I should consider and Nick advised that No 12 Nutrimulch would probably suit my needs. I was immediately impressed with the richness of the product and have been using this for a few years now. It has made a huge difference to the heavy clay soil in my garden.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Field Compost. Nick and the Customer Service Team are excellent, offering sound advice, prompt in their communication and extremely obliging. Their drivers have proved to be polite and helpful and a good representation of the Company.

I’ve had several deliveries. Some were just fine. One in particular was a disaster. I ordered their recommended compost to fill 4 new raised beds. But it turned out to be abysmal as the veg that I grew was very poor. When I raised this with them they said they were missing2 ingredients which caused the problem. But that was of no use to me. They sent me 5 bags of other compost as “consolation “. 2 years on, after adding lots of home made compost and manure I’m getting better results, but I am still annoyed that they knew of the problem and still sent out the compost and didn’t really offer a reasonable response.
The “date of the experience” is the date of the review, not the dates of delivery.

I ordered, field compost number 4 on a Monday morning arrived three days later very happy with the service.
I mixed the compost with grit sand for my new lawn.The seed germinated in five days and I now have a beautiful lawn within five weeks, I have since had another delivery of the compost for top dressing.

Excellent mulch. Bought a jumbo bag of
Field’s No.1 Organic Soil for mulching my perennial borders. Beautiful stuff, very light weight so easy to barrow and distribute and has provided just the ‘blanket’ needed for this cold spell in late November
