I will never buy another Fenwick…

I will never buy another Fenwick product as long as I live. They are no longer a good product. cheaply made. I recently bought two and they broke under normal use. Before that I had one that I bought in the '80s that recently broke that was my fault. When I purchased it had a lifetime warranty, they no longer are honoring that. The last two that I had the quality was just terrible. Unfortunately they got bought out by another company and went downhill . Lost a lifetime customer and I will be definitely telling everybody how bad they are

Broken rod/warranty claim

Just had a great experience with Fenwick service/warranty claim. After clearing up an email problem of mine on Monday past reached them by phone early Thursday, had an email link with details of claim process by midday, replied with required info early Friday and a favourable response Friday early afternoon..replacement rod on the way. Could not ask for better.

Customer Service is nowhere to be found

I’ve always liked Fenwick rods and own a 3-piece HMG (model HMGFX70ML-M-FS3). Unfortunately, the guide on the second section broke, and I’ve been trying to contact customer service for over two weeks without a response.

I sent emails and followed up via Instagram, but haven’t heard anything back. I understand delays happen, but a simple acknowledgment would go a long way.

Fenwick Customer Service is subpar

Fenwick Customer Service is subpar

I have purchased two rods from them. During an unfortunate mishap my fly rod broke due to an error on my end, I owned up to this and simply requested to buy the tip. They refused to sell me parts and told me I was SOL.

My other rod broke while using it. Unforntuately for both items I did not have a receipt since I was gifted these rods.

I once again offered to buy new tips. No offer was given, an exception was made and discount codes were offered. However, I had to call to get the discount. Both Times I have called, I have been sent to voice mail. with a call back offer and have not been called back.

Emails take about two weeks to hear back from customer service and always lead to more questions.

At this point I had already bought two new fenwick rods, and ensured I registered them. However, should these break I Will never purchase another fenwick rod due to their poor customer service. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your time.

MY family has been dedicated fenwick supporters and spent THOUSANDS of dollars on their rods. And will no longer do so.

Poor customer service on warranty

I purchased a Fenwick Elite Tech River Runner rod from a local dealer.
After owning the rod for one month short of a year while fishing for Crappie a Smallmouth bass decided to taste me curly tail jig.
The end result was that the rod broke 5 eyelets down from the tip.
Landed the fish,(bonus) it was only a 3.5lb smallie!
Contacted Fenwick 2 times through E-mail, following their instructions to the letter, and once by phone.
The gentleman I spoke to was very apologetic and instructed me to E-mail again.
I followed his instructions and now its been a month with no response.
This rod has a lifetime guarantee and this is the service you receive for a $150.00 rod?
I am totally sick of empty words and worthless guarantees.
Time to try another brand!
