Fast Plans Reviews

I used FastPlans for the design and planning of my rear extension and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Right from the start, they were incredibly responsive and produced high‑quality designs very quickly.

I’m someone who tends to be meticulous to a fault and FastPlans handled this with complete patience. Every change I requested was dealt with promptly, and all my questions were answered clearly.

We also needed additional support, including attending a council pre‑application meeting. George was excellent throughout: he asked all the right questions, guided the discussion and demonstrated a deep understanding of the planning process. He even spotted early on that the property might not have permitted development rights - something that could have cost us hundreds had we applied under the wrong route.

From start to finish, both George and Angela were consistently helpful and responsive. The designs themselves were top‑class and our planning application was approved on the first attempt - which is amazing as a prior rear extension application by the previous owners had been rejected.

I’m extremely grateful for their professionalism and support, and I would strongly recommend FastPlans to anyone considering an extension. If I’m ever fortunate enough to do a loft extension in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

My application was initially rejected because I was unable to complete certain required developments due to personal circumstances. George at Fast Plans took over the matter and provided excellent support throughout the process. He was professional, responsive and very helpful, and he did a great job in helping me resolve the issues. I truly appreciate his assistance and would highly recommend George and Fast Plans.

Rude, unhelpful and damn right unprofessional

Would highly recommend this company - they were so fast, professional and efficient.

"Five stars for George and the team at Fast Plans. From the very first email reply, the communication has been excellent. They handled everything—from the initial site visit to the back-and-forth with local authorities—making what is usually a stressful process feel completely seamless. Highly recommended!"

We had an excellent experience working with George at Fast Plans. He was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the process. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and great service.

George and Fast Plans worked with us throughout the design process, making multiple changes and offering suggestions until we were totally happy with our loft layout. The quality of the designs is high, they guided us through the planning applications, and they gave us detailed roof drawings on request to help our discussions with the neighbours too. Recommended.

Working with this loft planning company has been outstanding from the very beginning of our project. The team have been incredibly accommodating, taking the time to answer all our questions and making thoughtful changes to the design until we have achieved the perfect loft layout for our needs. Their attention to detail and willingness to listen has made all the difference and we feel like we have the layout we have been hoping for such embarking on this project.
Communication has been excellent throughout the process so far — every email has been responded to quickly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

George and Fast Plans have been excellent and guiding us through the whole process as total novices. All their costs were included in the package which was really nice so there were no surprises and any additional costs were highlighted to us before signing a contract with them, like building control which is done externally via council or private company. They have been quick to respond to any queries and adjustments we needed with unlimited changes free of charge

Very fast turnaround, as suggested by the company's name.

We had a great experience working with George and his team at Fast Plans, especially Marius, who was a huge help throughout.

The turnaround time was impressively quick, and having unlimited revisions ended up being far more valuable than we expected. We went through multiple iterations, and Fast Plans were responsive and patient each time, helping us get closer to the design we had in mind.

George and Marius contributed some good ideas, but it’s definitely worth going into the process with a clear sense of what you want. Looking at what other properties in the neighbourhood have done helped us a lot — and once you have a direction, Fast Plans will put it into professional plans very efficiently.

One small piece of feedback: it would have been helpful to know in advance when George was on leave, just so we could plan accordingly. That said, Marius stepped in seamlessly and kept things moving forward.

They also liaised with the council to check for changes mid-process, and when a change came up, they handled the update and re-submission very quickly. Their communication with planning was proactive and much appreciated.

Overall, we’d definitely recommend Fast Plans for anyone looking for a fast, flexible, and professional planning service.

We recently used George & the FastPlans team for our loft conversion plans and have been delighted with the service. From the initial consultation & design through the planning application they guided us through each step of the process, incorporated our changes, answered questions & more. Really appreciated their check-ins with the council on status of our application. We’ll be using the team again for our Building Control application. Thanks again, delighted to recommend.
