I should be grateful the work didn't proceed, given the previous review of this company's work.
After accepting a (very low) Farnell quote and paid a 30% deposit for fencing repairs on 16th March, 2026. I have the receipt for my deposit and all of the business information available on this business.
I attempted to obtain a date when the work would commence and received a tardy reply to say they would be "reworking the calendar' after the Easter break. Nothing since then until a text on Wednesday 29th where they advised they were closing the business, and would refund deposits in full.
I have attempted to contact the company by e-mail, text and phone call in the past week. No replies, and my e-mails were returned by the Postmaster!
I have contacted the Commerce Commission, my bank and Citizens' Advice Bureau. Short of going to the Disputes Tribunal, my deposit is probably paying for a nice holiday for Chris, Alyana and Cam.
I know I'm not the only one they have 'scammed'...
