Do i want to take legal action against…

Do i want to take legal action against a charity shop?? I bought 2 lamp shades for £10 shades during the pandemic, 1 turned out tobe damadged when i got home. I called the shop informing them the issue. They asked me to bring back I told them I was in the country because of the pandemic we agreed that I would bring the lap shades when i got back in London so I went to take them back to the shop today. I spoke with the manager a woman called Anita who wax being aggressive and rude & came running after me saying she was gonna through out the lamps if I leave them there I was on the phone with the head office e just outside to explain the situation. When i ran the head office i was told that I don't have a receipt and the items are not from that shop I said i have my bank statement and then she said If you have the receipt and the workers confirm you bought it there i will speak to the head office. Then i said even the Italian lady said she remembers when i bought them. Then she said she would call the shop to confirm. I got a call back from the head office she said nobody recognizes the lamp shades. I mean I know Is a charity shop and them items I bought for ONLY £10 but if a charity shop is trying to scam me the law should be involved I THINK

My favourite branch is the New Malden…

My favourite branch is the New Malden one, have been going there for many years. I’ve found many gems from this branch. The staff are amazing especially Aaron or Josh (sorry!) who drove all the way to my place when they found my wallet thrown among their goods by the person who stole it! Aaron or Josh saved me the hassle of cancelling my cards, replacements etc. But most of all I was reunited with my previous photos, notes and drawings from when my children were little, these are priceless gems.

Not ok

Prices there could compete to stores that sell new items. Leather jackets priced with 60 pounds or even higher. I was once looking at a winter jacket, timberland, it was 50 pounds?? Who would pay that much on a second hand item?? The Southfield shop had very unpleasant workers. Went there one time and it was a guy and a young woman, probably around 20 years old. The two were chatting and listening to loud music and the woman was showing her dance moves... Felt like a bar where people flirt. I wouldn't expect it to feel like a library either, but honestly, seeing people flirt is not what I expect. Had some questions but since they were too busy I just gave up and left.
I applied for one of their jobs as an assistant, never heard back although I had worked for Oxfam before. Probably I should have sent a video with me dancing and flirting, then I would have received an answer...
