They charged an old credit card that was inactive for some reason and when I tried to call and look into it, I went to speak to an English agent (prompts were for English or Chinese) but a Chinese agent answered and said she couldn't help me because she doesnt know English. ???? Seems disorganized and very sketchy since they are randomly charging my card when I do not even have an account with them. Do not use them unless you want to be charged randomly.

Fantuan is an extremely unethical delivery company. They charge drivers various hidden fees and deductions, and customers are also affected — the price shown is often not the price you actually end up paying. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Please think carefully before supporting a company that profits by misleading both its workers and customers.

Placed an order that was never delivered. Funtuan told me I had to contact the restaurant and driver directly. I called the restaurant and they said it was ready but not picked up, drivers phone went straight to an uber related voicemail. After 30’minutes on the online chat with Fantuan I’ve been told I’ll get a refined in 7 business days but if not call back. I’m calling Visa to report them.

The user interface to their app is terrible, and designed to trick you into signing up for a monthly service fee. There is no path to unsubscribe from this monthly fee, and there is no response from their customer service e-mail. I used the app once to deliver food while visiting Montreal, and it subscribed me to a monthly service fee without my explicit knowledge. I found out by checking my credit card statement some months later and finding a string of unwanted charges.

Additionally, the experience I had with the one time I used the app was that they did not live even remotely to the time window they stated when I ordered the meal, so the food was old and cold, I could not even eat it and had to get something else for dinner.
