Faithful Spark Electricians is a NICEIC Approved electrical contractor based in Peterhead, serving Aberdeen, Fraserburgh, Ellon, Westhill, and the wider Aberdeenshire area. Steven Watt, the principal electrician, completed his electrical engineering apprenticeship in 2001 and holds City & Guilds 2357, 2365, and 2391-52 (Inspection and Testing), plus an HNC in Engineering Systems. He is an AICO Expert Installer, OZEV Authorised, and approved installer for Andersen EV, Ohme, and Myenergi Zappi. For solar PV and battery storage, he holds City & Guilds Level 3 awards in both the installation of small solar photovoltaic systems and the design, installation and commissioning of electrical energy storage systems, awarded April 2026. We specialise in Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), consumer unit upgrades, EV charger installation, fault finding, and RCD replacement for homeowners, landlords, and commercial clients across the North East of Scotland. All work is carried out to BS 7671 Amendment 4 and certified through NICEIC, so you have full peace of mind that every job meets current wiring regulations. We do not use subcontractors for our core electrical work — your job is carried out by a fully qualified, time-served electrician. For landlords, we carry out EICR testing to meet the Repairing Standard and provide full written reports with any remedial work completed promptly. We work with housing associations and property management companies across Aberdeenshire on a regular basis. For EV charger installation, we are OZEV authorised with approved installer status for Andersen EV, Ohme, and Myenergi Zappi. For solar PV and battery storage, every installation is fully MCS registered through our Q-Smart partnership, qualifying your system for the Smart Export Guarantee.

Excellent service from Faithful Spark

I initially contacted Faithful Spark after researching local electricians and finding countless positive reviews for this company. Steven and his colleagues are well organised, competent and a pleasure to deal with. During the EV charger and consumer unit installation we encountered several issues with my old and failing electricity supply and internal wiring. He has helped me negotiate the frustrating bureaucracy involved in arranging a new mains supply and it's reassuring to know he's always on hand to provide advice.
