I have never had worse experience
I have never had worse experience in job finding.
They have “small letters” that you have to be very careful, because you will pay LOTS of money for nothing.
I have paid them for some months without any result. Pretty weird because my profile is really senior. Their job application process is complex and unclear. If you don’t check the “small letters” they threat you that they will send your unpaid invoice to a collection company.

Useless
Useless, even the expensive paid version. Alerts propose jobs not linked to your expertise, no or limited headhunters working with them. Limited answer from their customer service. Not supportive.

Unsubscribing is a Nightmare!
This site is awful! I registered and immediately realised I didn’t want to complete the long registration process. I have been bombarded with emails ever since, between 2-4 emails every single day! I tried repeatedly to unsubscribe but unless I fill in every detail about what I am looking for, it won’t let me get to the unsubscribe page! As a last resort I have emailed their support email in the hope of being removed from their records. My poor junk folder is overloaded with Experteer marketing emails. Don’t register whatever you do!

If there was ever a service that was worse than useless this is it
I apparently signed up for a paid subscription around the end of 2018. Little did I know that despite getting absolutely nothing from Experteer I was being automatically debuted every quarter without any notification from them. It was only when my credit card expired that I discovered the payments. It is a worse than useless service, and even worse is difficult to stop

Here is how to delete your account
update:06.02: They made the deletion of the account as difficult as possible. I spend 2 hours trying to google how to do this. After i posted the information here, Experteer decided to report my review and to take it offline because: "... reported your review because it contains little or no information about your buying or service experience with the company. The review was therefore temporarily taken offline while we ask you to supplement your review accordingly."
So according to them you cannot leave a negative review for a poor service unless you paid for it.
Here is how to delete your account on experteer:
This is a total scam
This is a total scam. If you happen to have changed credit cards and cancelled the one on file when they auto charge & it’s refused, even when you advise that you now longer want their service they will send you to collections for service you no longer want. Typical German company. You do it their way or they will destroy your credit. Their awful and they provide no worthwhile job leads. Just copies from other sites.

Simply never go there!!!!
Simply never, ever buy anything from this site. For the sum of 40 pounds, cancelled on the day of supposed renewal after reminder - having never seen ANYTHING relevant in terms of search criteria - they outright refuse to cancel next term and continually chase and request payments. They are crooks - simple as that - and the company should feel utterly ashamed of themselves.
Cheap
Cheap. Sending spam and unwanted emails with no option to delete account. Very troublesome.

Not good business practice
I have had one experience of this company. I was interested by a job posting on LinkedIn for a role that sounded suitable - a senior role for a well known and respected company.
Upon clicking on the LinkedIn "Apply Now" button, I was redirected to Experteer's portal. It then asked for my personal details and upon submission to apply for the role, instantly said the role was no longer available. (note to experteer it is not legal in the UK to make providing date of birth a requirement).
Having read other reviews on here, I now understand this business is attempting to sell paid "Premium" subscriptions and I suspect the experience I have had is simply a lead generation attempt.
The approach of posting a role purporting to be taking active applications, taking personal details and immediately stating the role is not available is at best unethical, at worst could be a data privacy breach. This is an inappropriate way to act in this age of ethical, transparent and sustainable business practice and I shall be raising with LinkedIn and the company they said they were recruiting for.
In the 3 seconds linking from LinkedIn to experteer, I highly doubt submissions for the role published were ended.

STAY AWAY
STAY AWAY!
VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I am a business owner for 8 years. I have no idea why on earth I have subscribed for the premium membership, probably to check on their membership model. I have totally forgotten about it and never used their services ever. They charge you every 3 months £41.70. Unless you are checking line by line your bank account it is very easy to miss this expense and I have been invoiced already 4 times. I contacted them and explained my situation and they said they provided a premium service so they will not reimburse me.
This is a fraudulent activity. They can see clearly that I have never been active on their website and they still want to charge me!
PLS not only stay away but also report them. This is what I am doing currently.
thanks

Stay away from this site
Stay away from this site,
I have canceled the subscription and still charged me, no matter I disputed the charge with my bank they said they found it was a valid charge.
As you can see I have not used it since then, because I thought it was canceled, and to be honest, because no matter what, it is a useless webpage.
Since I have not used it, because I trusted this cancelation has been done. But, I just have found out you charged me no matter what. I would like to have my money back and deleted my account from your subscription list.

Useless
Two things to say about Experteer.
One: it is useless, simple as that. Their premium service does *nothing*: I saw no changes whatsoever in views or interviews or even job specs vs the free version. LinkedIn at least gives you some company, pay and skills insights; Experteer gives you no extra value for your extra cash. So avoid. Oh, and before someone from Experteer replies to this review saying that I should keep my profile up to date to be headhuntable - I already do. Any further suggestions on how to get something valuable out your subscription plan?
Two (and this is why I'm giving it 2 stars): in November 2019, I subscribed to 1 month of premium service to see if it does land me more views and interviews as advertised, and I didn't take note of the T&C saying it would renew automatically the following month. So I was charged again in December 2019, then cancelled it. Note that you have to re-confirm your cancellation via a link in your email. I have had no problems with surprise payments to Experteer ever since.
But overall, it's been a frustrating experience.
PS. Dear Experteer manager who answered below, LinkedIn has long had a function to hide the fact that you're looking for jobs (or state it openly). Regards, Elena.

Instead of 1 month I was charged for 6 month. As well it's completely useless site.
UPD: Already contacted support, no reply so far.
UPD: Support team didn't answered to my mails, I wrote on chargeback 3 times, still no luck. Can't recommend this site.

Unsubscribe service
I am trying several weeks now to stop receiving any communication and they keep sending.
I have sent several emails and also tried to renew my password because I have forgotten it so to apply also via the poorly designed site but still no response.
Unacceptable service with very poor quality. I do not understand how they will manage to find a job for people if they can not manage their own operations.

Cancelled premium service, still getting billed!!!!
UPDATED BELOW I cancelled my premium service on November 30. I noted the message that said I will have access to premium services until Dec 28 (the last day of the current period). Today (Dec 31st) I was billed another $24.90. The website is very difficult to navigate and find out where/how to remedy this. I want my wrongly billed money credited back.
UPDATE: After this review, Experteer emailed me indicating I will receive a credit for Nov and Dec billing, and I have been refunded those payments. Experteer's customer service was very responsive, and I am satisfied.

They renewed my account without my knowledge. They said it is written on the sign up agrreement.
Even you renew ı cancelled 1 day later. you may right to charge 1 day only. How come you charge 6 months.
This is a way of stealing money.
I warn everybody for such kind of attitude of this company.
