A different Shambles at York
Our first time at this venue and it was pretty disastrous: we travelled 60 miles to see a Metropolitan Opera performance of a rarely performed Opera and our guest travelled even further but disappointingly the recording frequently broke down with a blank screen and no sound or vision. Despite the heroic efforts of James, the Manager, this intermittent problem persisted throughout the screening.
There is clearly a serious technical issue there which needs to be put right as a matter of urgency.
The screening was ruined by the intermittent sound and vision interruptions.
I cannot praise the Manager and his staff enough - they were the only positive of the evening. Complimentary drinks were served and apologies made and my understanding is that full refunds are to be given. We will see.
This cinema charges about 25% more than our local Vue cinema, presumably for the 'seat service' of food and drink. It might just be me but I find it distracting for people in adjacent seats to be drinking pints of lager and eating beefburger and chips during a film screening.
This was was our first and it will likely be our last visit to this venue.
If your child is on spectrum and you don’t like being bullied or having a hate campaign against you to not go to Spielbergs or the Everyman in Hampstead
My name is Charlotte Lewis I’ve been going to the Everyman in Hampstead for 20 years and I went one day to buy some tickets and I was told very abruptly with a lot of questions by the manager asked that I was banned because apparently I was violent and I had thrown a glass bars of a member of staff. I thought it was a joke. It was not. It was written in the computer. It had been discussed that had meetings about it and I requested some evidence to back this up when I asked you I throw a glass spot at and they told me I’d thrown it to a member of staff in Spielbergs, I I’m a sensitive person I would say delicate fragile I’m on the spectrum is a disability and sometimes I get bullied a lot for it months went by about nine months went by only to be told that it was all made up by two members of staff at Everyman because they didn’t like me. It affected my mental health when I was told I was banned and then I had done a violent act towards somebody which I knew not to be true I became very fragile. My doctor put me on anti-anxiety medication I lost weight and I felt so sad and so lonely that people could bully me especially as I’m on the Spectrum. Not one person from the Everyman has apologised about this joke that was played on me. It became a rumour around my neighbourhood and I went again recently to the Everyman again see if I could buy some tickets and the manager us Josephine was so cruel to me she said well we still don’t know if we can allow you in even though their actions towards me a criminal. I can start a civil case against them. It’s slanderous it was a hate campaign defamation of character and it’s all done on the Everyman property on Every Everyman. I am by the Everyman so if your child is on a spectrum or you are a fragile person and you find hate campaigns towards you and being bullied and lied about by members of staff at Everyman or Spielbergs heartbreaking then I suggest you do not go to the Hampstead and I suggest you do not go to Spielbergs in Hampstead God bless Charlotte Lewis , and just to say I still never had an apology . Out here and staff members in Spielbergs had a joke in their staffroom with a cartoon of a glass bar saying bring one home a joke towards me. I have the photo of it. Maybe I should go and have a chit chat with a lawyer.
Event booking is a terrible experience
Event booking is a terrible experience. We have tried for over a month to book a screening for a birthday party and it still is not done. The team is highly unprofessional. They can only be reached via email and take ages to respond. When they do, dates are proposed and then cancelled. Save yourself weeks of frustration and book an event somewhere else.

I go to Manchester Everyman almost every weekend with my partner Lil. Everything is outstanding from the drinks, food to the incredible customer services (Jack's a star!) - Find it very strange how low some of the scores are on Everyman's Trustpilot, by far the best cinema in this city.
Plymouth Everyman
Second visit to Plymouth Everyman cinema, comfortable seats, expensive tickets, generous ice cream sundae, far too warm and could do with increasing the volume, can’t decide if it’s worth the hour plus drive from home, probably not
Unexpectedly impressed
Unexpectedly impressed. Easily the best cinema experience I’ve had. Comfy chairs, fresh popcorn, lots of space. I felt like I was hosted rather than treated like livestock. Prices are a couple of pounds higher than other local cinemas – but well worth it
Outstanding Everyman
Everyman never misses to provide a polished experience. We’ve visited the Brentford cinema multiple times and the staff and experience continues to be exceptional.
Great customer service
Great customer service, and lovely cinema experience. Staff are always pleasant and helpful at Gerard’s Cross branch
Suspiciously missing hoodie
Very disappointed with the way Everyman Stratford handled my lost property. I left a brand new hoodie at the end of the final screening of the night and reported it first thing the next morning. Despite the timing and location making it highly likely it was picked up by staff, I was met with no effort to investigate properly, no apology, and no gesture of goodwill. The head of complaints said there’s “nothing he’s willing to do.” Really poor customer service and follow-up
Awful Customer experience and support.
I am a member for the second year as I enjoy the experience at my local venue. However the website frequently glitches, they're is no app for android only apple and customer services fail to respond to emails. I tried and failed to book tickets for myself and a guest on Wednesday and ended up having to call after receiving no reply from two emails. The customer service rep on the phone was lovely and helpful. I still have not received any reply to a further email or a confirmation email re tickets however. I tested again today and three days later, I am still unable to purchase any tickets. Having chosen seats and then trying to progress to selecting seat type, there is just a terminal response with a pulsing circle in the centre of the screen. Everyman really need to up their game re customer experience and satisfaction.

Over hyped, over priced over heated
Air-conditioning not working on one of the hottest days of the year. I asked several staff whether there was an issue as it was so hot in the bar and was told it would be better in the cinema itself. When we went into the screen it was hotter still, again I asked if the aurcon could be switched on. I was assured it would kick in once the film started. We waited and eventually heard the fans kick in. But to no avail, no cooling. The head of house made an announcement that free iced water could be collected from the bar as it was so hot.
This was supposed to be a special treat but tbh, we had to get them to change our seats as all I could see was the safety bar. The seats are not that comfortable and the cushion did nit help. The food was OK but the tables are inadequate for the plates. All in all it was a terrible experience and we will not be back. Overpriced, over hyped and overheated.
When I commented to tge staff on exit, I was told they had issues but had been assured the air conditioning had been fixed. It clearly had not and we should have been warned and refunded rather than endure that oven

Me and my partner had a great experience at Everyman cinema Cardiff earlier tonight,
Service, amenities, food were excellent. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back. Never felt so comfortable at the cinema.
You certainly get what you pay for in this venue.

At Salisbury venue last evening the sub titles failed to connect from the start of the 5.15pm film
Very quickly the absolutely amazing Rosanne informed the audience that she was trying to solve the problem but offered any drink free-orders were swiftly taken..Soon we were told that it would not be possible to fix the problem but Rosanne offered to move us to another Screen which would be available in 25 minutes and added that we could ask for anything we wanted from the menu- While waiting in the very comfortable lounge area we were given complimentary Cinema tickets for any Everyman venue .
At the promised time we moved to the new Screen & the film resumed
Rosanne’s control & handling of the problem was a Masterclass in damage limitation & creation of lasting goodwill
to the Company
I hope her bosses realise what a fantastic manager they have.
Our local Vue Cinema is closing down…
Our local Vue Cinema is closing down and we wanted to try Everyman. We when last Sunday for the first time. Overall not worth the money. The sofas are uncomfortable, especially if the film last nearly 3 hours and you’re seating in the first line, the seating area are quite small as its the back rest. We were in the first line, being so expensive, we thought there would be a good distance to the screen, but not. The food is a joke, my son ordered a pizza that was a very small piece of dough with little cheese in the middle and a couple of cherry tomatoes £7.90 popcorns £6 and even though suppose to be large it’s very small, the coke was one of those glass bottle, tiny. You’re not allowed to bring your snacks or drinks, because they want to take as much money out of you as possible.
The sound was good and the floor vibrates but at £18.50 per adult ticket and £14.45 children? Never again for us.

Princess Square in Glasgow. Saw The Accountant 2 which was excellent but have to say the sound was far too loud....
Food was great as was the glass of wine I had. Staff were helpful. Certainly return.
Just watched Sinners
