Eversure Cycle Insurance

My policy was renewed and money deducted from my card without my approval on the 14th of March when the policy was not due for renewal until the 20th March

Don’t waste your time!

Have had a caravan policy with them for a couple of years, it’s never easy when you need to change something as it has to all be done online to save costs. I wanted a cycle insurance policy but it wasn’t quite as simple just to fill in the online form for a quote, as there were a couple of questions. I started a live chat and was put in a queue. Jack answered and “needed a moment to review” I typed my questions which were read but no reply for 2 hours when the chat was ended at their end. Decided to try the contact form. Explained fully what the questions were and was informed the reply could take 2 working days. 3 days later nothing! Eventually, I ran a quote which, when saved, supplied a phone number for questions. Tried that number 5 times and each time just get “no agents available” and the call is cut off. Tried the live chat again. This time Jack B answered and just said a straight forward no to cover. 4 days of wasted time. What an absolute joke they are. Will certainly not be renewing my policy this time.

Website easy to use

The website quotation and payment processes were very straightforward, so I give them five stars. However, I can't rate how the company is at dealing with insurance claims, and that really is the important thing with photography/camera insurance!

Eversure Caravan Policy - did not cover repair/service

I had a touring caravan insurance policy with Eversure. When my caravan went into a local centre for a service, I rang Eversure to check that my caravan was insured when in for the service. Eversure confirmed that the caravan was NOT insured when with a dealer for repair/service.
This was so odd to me as the policy states that the caravan needs to be serviced and in a good state of repair. Not sure how I can achieve that when I cannot leave my £40k caravan with a dealer for this kind of service. It wasn’t worth the risk.

I raised a formal complaint with Eversure but over 3 weeks later and I have yet to receive any feedback. I have since left Eversure.

Sharing as a warning to other caravanners.
