Incredibly outdated and utterly frustrating!

Just had the most frustrating chat (“I understand your frustration”) with their AI! Apparently, no actual humans run or work at Eventbrite, so there is no understanding of how to make the system work for actual humans!
I turn off all location permissions to the app, cancelled any location info on the app, yet it STILL insists on only showing events in my city!
I’ve tried everything, including their AI bot’s recommendations, and I’m still getting nowhere! There are online evens across the uk that I’d love to attend but can’t because I can’t find them on this stupid app!
The joke is that AI is supposed to be advanced, yet this app is as bad as a 1990’s website!

How many problems can you have…

How many problems can you have outstanding with one platform? As an organiser, not only is the service stupidly slow, but I am also currently facing these issues: Instagram won't connect despite all the connecting and disconnecting, you can't buy tickets for my online sessions on an iPhone, email campaigns need to be manually updated, and no one seems to take ownership or follow things up. And you can't make a complaint.

Dishonest company-fraud

Dishonest company. They sold me a ticket that didn’t work at the venue. The venue told me they are not a reliable 3rd party ticket seller and that they “do this all the time”. I had to put a fraud alert on my card. Do not buy tickets from them. You won’t be let into your event and you will lose money.

DO NOT USE!

DO NOT USE!! Horrendous company ran by bots. Purchased tickets, have email confirmation, order number, proof of purchase yet cannot access any tickets. Tried using the link that came directly via email and also tried logging in to eventbrite separately and no success. The bots send you around in circles and no response to requests to talk to a human or to complaints. Terrible terrible company! Avoid at all costs. Money grabbing

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I have the same experiences now as people buying tickets to Space Safari drone show at bath and west showground ( hmmm just like what was seen on BGT…… clever marketing getting in their band wagon) absolute joke!

Having come from an entertainment and hospitality industry myself, there is no way an event of this size have 2 of their only live acts (Taylor Swift and ABBA tributes) cancel the day before and arrange for drums to replace them.

I, for one think that this not only should be offered at a reduced rate for those poor souls that have spent probably what little disposable income to take their families to this event, there should be a public apology and reduction of ticket prices due to this change for those wanting to purchase tickets.

This isn’t transparent marketing. To top it off you have to pay extra to take a chair and a picnic. OBSERD!!

The ‘no refund’ policy is a joke and a policy that I will now contest. who you contest this too I don’t know as they are under the guise of numerous company names.

The whole evening has been ruined and we have paid for a 30 minute drone show!

Shocked that this should be allowed at such a prestigious venue which holds fantastic events that never fail to disappoint

Event cancelled

I booked speed dating event through eventbrite around December 2025 in Hilton hotel Birmingham . They took around 25 pounds and the event has been postponed 3 times in total. I went there yesterday and the receptionist told me event has been cancelled. I even booked car parking in bee carpark cuz I thought it will take longer as it was supposed to happen from 7:30 to 10:30. Proper bullshit! And on the app they didn’t even notify me. It has happened to me 3 times and they haven’t refund the amount. I have written review on their app as well. They are just making money and it is a totally shit event.

I’ve used this company many times…

I’ve used this company many times before and try to go raving at least once a month, so I’ve probably spent well over £1,000 with them over time.

I recently bought tickets for Breakin Science & Drumatics, which looked like a great event. Unfortunately, I didn’t realise it was a 16+ event, so it wasn’t suitable for me. I messaged them on the day and received a full refund, which I really appreciated.

I’ll definitely continue booking with them, and if I ever have a choice of ticket outlets, they’ll be my first pick. Thank you!

Be wary, restricted view means no view.

Went to Rochester cathedral to watch the Radiohead cathedral tour. We could only get the cheapest tickets which came with a warning, restricted view. When we got there early, of the 200 seats available for us to chose from, only about 5% could actually see the stage. All other seats had no view at all. When we questioned this , we was basically told tough. What made it worse was the woman we spoke to disappeared and then came back 5 minutes later with 2 bottles of water and told us to slow down on the drinking. We'd had 1 pint. Everyone who complained was told to basically suck it up. Be warned, I left after the first set because I was so angry. Thanks for ruining an event I was really looking forward to.

Review / Public Caution

Review / Public Caution

Dr. Seema and Mr. V. M. Rao, along with family members, recently visited London to receive an award from the House of Lords. Since we had travelled all the way to London, a few of us also planned to visit Stockholm and, as part of our trip, booked a 2 days / 1 night Edinburgh tour through Eventbrite.

The trip was scheduled for 25th and 26th November 2025, and we paid £180 per head. However, at the 11th hour on 24th November 2025, we received a message from Ben, the tour operator, stating that the road trip from London to Edinburgh had been cancelled. The reason given was a vague and unconvincing excuse of a “mishap.”

The cancellation was communicated by Mr. Ben (Mobile: +44 7874 085007). He assured both Mr. Rao and me that the full refund would be processed before Thursday. Unfortunately, till date, we have not received any refund.

Please beware of such ticketing agency / operators who make tall claims but fail to honour their commitments and promises.

This Company is actively promoting…

This Company is actively promoting these event organisers to set up event's that fleece hard working people of their money. A true mark of a company’s worth is that when something goes wrong is how they respond and to be perfectly honest it’s embarrassing that myself and others keep falling for the same scam. It is without any form of doubt the worst customer services anyone should have to ever deal with.

Waste of money!

Dreadful! Complete waste of money! £23 for an adult ticket. So called xmas market consisted of 8 small stalls, half of which were expensive cakes (2 cakes cost £9), the others tacky rubbish. A handful of small fun fair rides for kids which you had to pay for. 6 or 7 food stalls. A guy 'singing' michael buble - not great - bad karaoke. And that was it! Took about 30mins to walk round the lot. Went and sat in the car for 2hours until the drone show, which was supposed to be 30minutes from 7pm. Started at 7.10pm, long wordy introduction / build up, finally drones. 20mins drone display with a story told in a childish fashion, kids were fed up and freezing by the time it came on. The drone show was cute and clever once under way, however not overly appreciated by the kids. Given the field was huge and I've been to other events at the venue that have had loads to do, this was extemely disappointing and expensive. as for the christmas market that was advertised, it was non-existent. Eventbrite are just pocketing money. Daylight robbery!
