We are a Gloucestershire-based seafood company and commissioned Evenlode to create a high-quality promotional film for our website. Having never done such a thing before, we didn’t know what to expect. However, the whole process was a pleasure and a revelation. At the very first meeting, Tim and Catherine Mountain listened carefully to what aspects of the business we wanted to showcase (the 24-hour story of bringing fresh fish from the coast to the landlocked Cotswolds, as well as the importance of sustainability). Thereafter, they harnessed their creativity to come up with a wonderful film (just over a minute long), telling the story with beautiful visual images, music and words - an evocative ‘journey’ from sea to plate that captures your interest and keeps you watching to the end, rather than an obvious, predictable promotional corporate video. In addition, alongside the main film they also produced 3 "mini-documentaries", which consist of short interviews and focus on different parts of the business. Again, these were done in an interesting way and got the company’s message across without being dull.

The production values of Evenlode’s films are incredibly high - the film quality, the sound, the music, the script, the voice-over and the editing all resulting in a very high-quality product. In terms of working with Evenlode, it was also an excellent experience. They were highly organised, efficient, professional, flexible, happy to travel (getting up at the crack of dawn for fish markets and fitting in with fishermen and their tides). Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and all was done with good humour. They also took plenty of stills photographs for us, which were superb and went over and beyond what they were initially commissioned to do. They also gave great advice on marketing and how to use their material to best effect, and created lots of short clips for us to use on social media.

If you are looking for a film production company to produce creative, high-end web commercials and mini-documentaries to promote your product or services, look no further than Evenlode. The investment will be more than worth it. We cannot recommend them enough.
