We love Eva Solo products and have a…

We love Eva Solo products and have a lot of them. Unfortunately, this time UPS in France really let us down. They claimed that they had attempted delivery on 3 different occasions (each of these days we were at home), and now we have to pick up the parcel at a UPS office, which is 12km away and is only open 2 days per week for 6 hrs. Nobody ever called. Your products are brilliant but please, use a different delivery service.

Overpriced, bad quality

I have received a tea brewer as a present. After a year of very little use ( less than ones a week), bottom of strainer has fall apart. Contacted Eva solo customer service directly but they don't take responsibility, advised to obtain proof of purchase and contact retailer( despite i explained that i received it as a present). Bottom line- product is nothing special apart from being crazy overpriced, quality is not good and no responsibility is taken by manufacturer

Even when a product is received as a present, a valid proof of purchase is required to process a warranty claim. The reason is simply that many of our products have been in our assortment for years, and documentation helps us confirm when and where the item was purchased and which warranty terms apply. This is part of the standard consumer and warranty rules we have to follow.

Everything broke

Bought 16 redwine glasses and 12 drinking glasses back in 2019 when I bought my first apartment, it cost a lot of money, OK, 6 years later i now have 1 wine glass and 0 drinking glasses left.
I would say half of them died the first year.
I have and will never buy anything from this company again.
I even got a butter dish for christmas last year, I returned it and bought a different brand.

Dont waste your money. Customer service will not help.

Pretty but not fit for purpose....

I am specifically reviewing the Nordic Kitchen Electric Kettle
I bought this item primarily for the aesthetic appeal as I thought that as an expensive electric kettle it would work accordingly...how wrong I was!! Firstly, there is an open hole in the lid (why?) with a wire mesh insert. This makes the kettle very noisy, because during the boiling process, steam is escaping through said hole -this also means it takes longer time to boil (rather like a saucepan with a lid half off - not very environmentally friendly). Then there is a problem with pouring - the flow of water is very slow and this tempts you to tip the kettle more which means water can come out of the open hole!!. I don't know who designed this but it is just not practical and there's no need to try and reinvent the wheel.
It looks good but it's a "chocolate teapot" !
Oh, and did I mention it shakes violently as it comes to the boil...

It serves as a ventilation point, allowing steam to escape during boiling. On this model, steam release happens via the lid rather than the spout, as seen in some other kettles. This is done to ensure safe pressure balance and efficient function.

That said, we completely acknowledge that this design may not suit everyone’s preferences, and we’re sorry to hear that your experience has been disappointing. While there is nothing technically faulty, we appreciate your input.

Received the wrong item (Fixed)

I ordered a 1.8L Keramisk Slip-Let kasserolle but received the regular version instead. I reported this immediately two weeks ago and have sent several follow-up emails without receiving any proper response.

Despite multiple promises that someone would "get back to me," I've received no solution to this problem. This level of customer service is disappointing.

I would have preferred to resolve this issue directly rather than leaving a negative review. If you need, here are my case numbers: 71470431 and 71376672.

Later Edit: Shortly after my review the company reached out. They quickly sent me the correct pot and handled everything nicely. While I am so far happy with my purchase, I still can't turn this experience into a 5 star review.

Solar lamp faulty, but no response from Service Desk

Solar lamp bell never functioned. Sent a request to the service desk asking if I could return the technical part for a replacement but only received a computer generated reply saying I would receive a response in 5 days! Never got any reply just more computer generated responses saying sorry for the delay, so returned the item. Now waiting to see if they will refund me - terms and conditions say they will return this within 30 days. Scandalous service when you would expect better from a higher-end designer product...

Disappointing Experience with Eva Trio Non-Stick Pan

After several bad experiences with non-stick pans, we decided to invest more in what we thought would be a higher-quality, longer-lasting option: the more expensive Eva Trio professional line by Eva Solo. It came with the promise of a durable coating and a 5-year warranty, which gave us confidence in our purchase.

We were very careful to follow all the care instructions in the leaflet, hoping to finally have a reliable pan. Unfortunately, the non-stick coating started to deteriorate in around than six months. Despite our efforts and proper maintenance, the pan quickly lost its non-stick properties even though it was costing more than previous supermarket-grade pans.

When we reached out to the company, hoping for a refund or at least an exchange under the warranty, they refused. This was especially frustrating given the product’s marketing and warranty claims.

We’re extremely disappointed not just with the pan’s quality, but also with the lack of customer support. Would not recommend based on our experience, so switching to a different brand and stainless steel instead. And suggesting others not to spend crazy money for non-stick pans as they all hold up the same.

Eva Solo wooden pepper/salt grinders

I bought the Eva Solo wooden pepper and salt shaker and the system did not last 6 months. The quality of these wooden designer grinders is extremely low. It is the opening and closing system at the top that broke in two different ways on each of the grinders, for one the plastic broke and the other the clips no longer fit together. I am waiting for a return from the Eva Solo warranty service.

Warning: dangerous wooden handles cannot be replaced

Eva Solo have a range of pots and pans with wooden handles. The handles are removeable and one would assume designed to be replaced. However, Eva Solo will not replace the handle when after a year or so it has rotten at the point where it attaches the pan. Water gets into this part of the pan and there is no way you can dry it. After time it rots, becomes loose and then becomes unsafe to use. Eva Solo refuse to replace this part, regardless of the design allowing it to be removed. A cynical move to make you discard the pan and buy another.
