About Account Verification

Verification in eToro will take approximately up to 5 business days if all the required documents are submitted.

During this time our teams will be going over the details and documents that have been submitted to make sure we verify your account according to the latest regulatory requirements.

Should we require any further information, we will be sending you an email to the registered email address with the required additions. These might include any issues with the documents submitted like a lack of details, or a problem with the eligibility of the document.

These are regulatory obligations from eToro as a regulated financial institution.

On Deposits at eToro

Deposits on eToro are divided into instant payment methods and ones that might take longer like a Bank Transfer.

Instant payments like Credit Card, e-wallets and others will appear immediately on your eToro account.

Other methods might take several business days to arrive depending on the payment provider chosen. When sending a Bank Transfer, please make sure to take the bank details from the eToro platform according to the chosen currency.

It is of the utmost importance to include the unique Transaction ID to allow eToro to efficiently recognize the transfer and credit your investing account.

Caution - 3rd party payments are prohibited. eToro will ONLY accept payments done from a method of payment under the eToro account owner’s name.

Key points on Withdrawals at eToro

Withdrawals at eToro have a flat fee of $5 USD. *Except in the USA where we do NOT charge a withdrawal fee.

A withdrawal in eToro has 2 stages. Once received, the request to withdraw will be processed by our teams within 2 business days.

Following the processing, a withdrawal will take an additional 3-8 business days until the funds arrive to the used method of payment.

It is important to note that this time period depends entirely on the payment service provider.

Emails will be sent at both stages confirming the request was received, that the withdrawal has been processed and to which method of payment it was withdrawn.

All about Trading/Market Disruptions

Trading disruptions are situations in which markets cease to function regularly, usually defined by fast and extensive movements in the market. There is no one specific reason for this - they can derive from unusual trading (such as a crash or a pump) or physical threats to the stock market.

No matter what the case is, trading disruptions are a result of the unusual conditions in the market, which can cause panic and disruptions to trading.

Why you might not be able to open or close a position during a market disruption

  1. Lack of liquidity, or inability to receive pricing from our liquidity providers
  2. A stock might be halted by the exchange
  3. Inability to open SELL positions due to an asset being “unborrowable”
  4. An unborrowable asset is an asset that won’t be lent out to short-sellers, which might happen when there is no one willing to lend out the asset.
  5. On eToro, the SELL side is not available when the asset is unborrowable.

  6. Extreme volatility on different asset types.

In general, when an asset is not available during halting periods, set order rates that are triggered (Stop Loss, Take Profit) during the halt will be executed on the next available executable rate when trading resumes.

Great exprience in Gala Event

Great exprience in Gala Event, NL

This was my first time in to the Gala event. I am quite impressed with what eToro pulled off. Amazing location, good gourmet food, drink and great way to meet larger eToro community in Amsterdam, along with eToro's team.

I nice interacting with Yoni A , understanding his market perspective, take on AI and other topics.

Look forward to attend the next one !!

Great event in Prague with Katarina

Great event in Prague with Katarina. The concert was a unique, once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience. My wife and I fully enjoyed it. A fantastic show, and a great idea from the eToro team to organize a gathering at such an event. Katarina is a very customer‑oriented professional. We had the chance to discuss a few topics, and it was a pleasure to meet her.

Does The MSE Offer Actually Exist?

Thought I'd open an account following a Money Savings Expert email offering £100 of free stock when depositing £200.
Following sign up, there's no reference to the offer anywhere. There's no banner ads, links, references to the offer etc.
Now reading some absolute horror stories on here about the offer with phrases such as "MSE offer doesn't work" and "no shares given."
Tried contacting customer service/support, and spent about an hour wasting my time dealing with an ineffective chatbot as well as attempting to submit a ticket as this is the preferred way over emails. Still unsure if I have successfully created a ticket, so unsure what my situation is.
When/if you reply to this feedback eToro, I suggest you more than consider the needs of your customers. Is it fair to treat them the way you do?
Overall, in the four/five hours since my account was created, I have achieved nothing.
Thankfully, the account has yet to be funded and unless a member of staff at eToro can strongly convince me otherwise, I'll close my account tomorrow and move on.
A dreadful and abysmal experience to date which I hope never to repeat.

No good with MacOS

Tried to set up an account with Toro following a MSE £100 offer. Thought I'd give it a go for an initial £200.
However their site proved impossible to do anything using MacOS Safari. I did set up an account using another browser just to see if it was Safari that wasn't supported. I get 20years or so ago Safari might not have been mainstream, but in 2026?? So have given up. Life is complicated enough without having to use alternate systems. So I logged back in via Safari and closed the account.

This app is forever being updated with…

This app is forever being updated with no real improvements, updates screw up any user configurations eg. Charts, dashboard setup. Where improvements should be made are overlooked even after people/users suggest improvements. The unrealized balance and the daily p/l do not correspond eg. My balance has gone up 2 days yet my drawdown increased to -4% from -3% yet my balance incresed from 3023 to 3045 . There are too many steps to opening a manual tradeby the time you input parameters the price always increases well above your intended entry price. The promoted copy investors always seen to have ridiculous hain

Highly recommend Dov as your Etoro account manager.

I've been working with Dov for quite some time now, and one thing I really appreciate is that he actually takes the time to keep in touch and follow up on how things are going.

I'm not someone who spends a lot of time looking at my investments, so it's great that Dov regularly reaches out to discuss my portfolio and suggest areas that could be improved. He's always well prepared and somehow remembers exactly what we talked about last time, as well as what I do for a living, which makes our conversations feel personal rather than just another client call.

Every now and then he'll also send me a quick WhatsApp message if he comes across a stock or investment opportunity that he thinks might be interesting for me. It's never pushy, just a helpful heads-up that shows he's paying attention.

Overall, Dov has been professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I appreciate the effort he puts into helping me stay on top of my investments, and I would happily recommend him to others. If you get to chose - Dov is your guy!

AVOID

Firstly I used etoro/ money farm for an isa investment . The app is not built around isa savings accounts so it’s not a good experience. Most importantly I found moving money out of Moneyfarm very difficult. I was allocated an advisor, who basically lied to me and tried her utmost to prevent me from moving my money out. AVOID

Followed MSE promotion to get £100…

Followed MSE promotion to get £100 worth of shares if I open an account. Completed everything, added funds, answerred tons of questions - all cleared. No shares given. No option to contact the customer service - only stupid chat-bot going in circle. No contact number or email address.
