Excellent Protection
Many years ago, I heard Google hired ESET to protect their systems. I've been using it a couple decades and haven't had any problems. I use a widows laptop and a Pixel Android.

I was on a cruise ship- it seemes that my anti virus protection was not working
I was on a cruise ship. I got constant virus notifications as I was using the ships internet. Why was my Eset antivirus unable to protect me during this cruise week. When I got home all the alarms and notification about virus activity seemed to normalize.

We are getting less PW Mgr gone but still paying the same price - typical!
My most used and like thing about eset is the password manager. Eset deleted this feature going forward, so the consumer gets less but the cost we will pay at renewal does not reflect that we're getting less?!

My experience was perfect until Xfinity…
My experience was perfect until Xfinity sold it's email service to Yahoo. The spam question increased four-fold. SO frustrating!!! Having one thought and a question: Thought: Xfinity doesn't care as it's not their problem; Question: Wondering why ESET doesn't help with phishing and/or spam????

Since one can't see the invisible, I have no idea how many threats the program has kept at bay, but why does it pop up every single time I open my computer, asking me for a password that I have long (for many years) forgotten - and with no way to retrieve or change it?

ESET: From Great to Subpar
I've been using ESET products for years, and they used to be top notch, both in product and service. Sadly, the last couple of times I've needed assistance from them have been absolutely horrendous experiences. My current issue has been ongoing for four days now with no resolution in site. Everytime I followup with ESET, they ask for something else and tell me their "team" is working on it. I have lost faith in this company.
UPDATE: Since ESET failed to followup with me as promised, I have uninstalled Nod32 from my computer and Mobile Security from my phones. I have also cancelled all auto-renewals. I will try my luck with the native Windows and Android antivirus services. So much for being a good customer for 10-15 years.
UPDATE 2: Today is 9/20. It's now been 22 days, and my issue is still not resolved
Furthermore, ESET has stopped responding to my followup inquiries.

Seamless and worry free
This software is seamless and runs in the background without me having to do anything. I never worry if it's up to date, or if I'm infected. I do run periodic scans just to double check but I've never had a single issue with viruses or performance.
