I visited Eplehuset in Tromsø with my iPhone 17 Pro Max, which failed due to a motherboard defect. I had to spend 3.5 hours proving the defect to the store manager, who clearly lacked competence.
After the phone replacement, the protective screen glass was not installed, even though it was lost due to their handling. I was told it was out of stock, and I have been waiting for it since January 13.
I live 85 km from the store and have already visited twice. I now have to travel again. As a result, I have lost time, money, and transportation.
No apology or compensation has been offered. This constitutes negligence and a breach of consumer rights.
If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will escalate the matter to:
Forbrukerrådet (Norwegian Consumer Council)
Other relevant consumer protection authorities
I expect immediate resolution and compensation for the inconvenience and losses incurred.

And in the end if you dont live in Oslo they charge you for sending the package to you 200Nok, even thought this is their mistake. Never buy there, go to Elkjøp or Power .

Very bad costumer service , we came to ask for phone exchange, and we asked for new iphone , the women at desk said , yes we have phone in stock and we can start everything. She asked to go to Apple account and delete phone from find my phone. But instead of this she pressed to erase whole phone data. And all photos and etc. been deleted and we cannot restore them.But this is not the end of story, she came back from storage and there she not find the phone we wanted and she said , I'm sorry I cannot give the phone which you wanted... so whats was the point to start all exchange procedure if you doesn't have new phone in stock and not even checked before started any actions. Very disappointed after this situation, and definitely not gonna use it again in future...

I've ordered some expensive headphones. 4 days later, no tracking number available and no answer from customer services as to where they are. I've bought items later and had them delivered already. Update: finally a response from Eplehuset: Item is out of stock and expected in a few weeks. The item was shown as available when I ordered. I asked for a refund which they gave. Gee, thanks a lot for wasting my time.

Eplehuset are scammers who do not respect their customers
I returned a faulty MacBook Pro with a damaged screen, yet Eplehuset falsely claimed it was not a manufacturing defect—despite there being no external damage. To make matters worse, they stated that "due to the nature of the damage, you might experience additional errors later"—a clear attempt to dodge future warranty obligations. Then, they quoted me 15,000 NOK for the repair.
If that wasn’t outrageous enough, they also want to charge me over 1,000 NOK just for rejecting my warranty claim.
This is not an isolated incident. A friend of mine had the exact same experience recently, proving that this is a pattern, not an exception. Do not trust these people.

Simple things are considered as complex process such as global blue tax return, return of items etc. So before visiting just make a call to see if the boss is there ah sorry they dont pick up the phone. So good luck!

Bought a few devices from this company, decided to return some of them, had no problems what so ever. Always nice service, everything great.

Ordered and paid for product online almost 2 weeks ago and still have not received pick up information or any information for that matter.
I bought the new M3 MacBook Pro on your online shop.
Immediately after purchasing, I contacted your customer support as the estimated delivery time sent in the confirmation email of 5 to 7 Weeks was way more than I expected.
I asked if I could receive a more exact estimate as I need the computer for immediate client work.
No clearer estimate was given, and could not be done so. To save time I asked if I could just cancel the order or get be given a tracking number so I can follow up directly with Apple.
I was told no I couldn’t cancel, or be given a tracking number. so I asked if I should wait for it to arrive and return the computer within 14 days. (Faster to order from Apple)
Then I was also told that law didn’t apply to me as I purchased this as a business.
I believe it was 7 back and forth emails of my time to get these details.
I went from happy to have supported a local (Norwegian) shop to feeling extremely foolish for not buying directly from Apple. Likely first and last time.
I now spent >50,000 for a computer and am doing my client work on a dying computer and my phone with a vague idea when my computer would show up.
I still would like to have an update on my computer and am extremely disappointed. I would not recommend anyone do business with Eplehus when order custom computer for work.
I am blown away there is not an undo or cancel option in your system.
First time I ever write reviews, but for your sake I wanted to share this experience. I hope you improve your customer experience and business services.
I bought an iPad along with applecare+ at the eplehus store in Stavanger, everything went very well. But when I set up my iPad it turns out that Applecare is not working and I had to contact Apple technical service, and to my surprise they do not fix the problem immediately but I have to wait a week!! and all this response after spending an hour on the phone.
I do not recommend this store.
Not able to use company invoice when placing orders, and the web-shop stock availability is always incorrect. I spend ALOT of time to find the products i need in all the different shops, when I go to place the order the stock is no longer available, but if I refresh the screen or wait to the next day is available again, until i try to place the order, then its unavailable again.
This has caused me to by equipment at your competitors instead.
Also some of the staff on customer service are extremely unhelpful and lack the basics of customer service.
