Environmental Pest Control (Berryville, VA) does not stand behind its work

I paid Environmental Pest Control to sweep my dryer vent. Shortly after that service, a bird made a nest in the dryer vent. We never had a problem with a bird's nest in the 19 years we lived in this home. The only problem occurred shortly after the company serviced our house. I asked the company to remediate the damage it caused and it refused. To quote from the company's refusal email, which was written by Shane Westcott: "Your previously purchased service was a dryer vent cleaning with no warranty provided. No mention of birds, protection against birds, or future service for birds was mentioned in your service agreement." Stated another way, this company does not stand behind its work. Caveat emptor.
