Given this toothpaste as a gift, really improved the look of my teeth.

Would not recommend this product toothache started in week two, mouth burning, horrendous experience, antibiotics prescribed, told i need two teeth out. Stopped the treatment and I want a refund .

Would get more stars if it wasnt so expensive.
Its not worth the price AT ALL, there are tons of way cheaper and equally effective white ing treatments. If theyre so confident in their product, they should offer refunds to anyone who doesnt get the ‘guaranteed’ result, instead they will just gaslight you and attempt to convice you that your teeth are B1 when they
clearly arent.

Excellent product worth the price my dentist advised me to use the black package toothpaste 5 days a week and the whiting twice because of my age and wear on my enamel so could be worth checking .

I wanted a bright smile so my dentist recommended. Emlighten
After the first set of treatment we could only get to B2
So I was given a second amount of the solution 2
Also I bought extra tooth paste to help
Some day brushing my teeth three times day
However I can’t get to B1 and some days my
teeth don’t even look like B3
Very disappointed

When I went to my dentist for teeth whitening, this is not what I expected. It feels very old school and basic. It's uncomfortable, long-winded, and the side effects are miserable.
I have completed week one but I've had to stop week two after 6 days because my mouth aches constantly; my gums are on fire and even my throat is sore. I'm waiting for further advice from my dentist, as he also recommended a week 3 which I'm not sure is standard and involves using gel for 1 hour a day in the final week. Based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend people go into this treatment fully informed about what's ahead. I was very trusting and believed that, for the price, I'd be receiving the best, most advanced treatment possible, not just some bleach and trays.
My dentist did warn me about sensitivity but then said it was rare for anybody to experience this. Oh my goodness, this is not true! I've never experienced anything like it. I have had sensitivity from the start and in week two it ramped up to even higher levels of pain and misery. My teeth and gums are aching even during the day after the trays have been removed. The sensitivity stick has been utterly useless and hasn't provided any relief from the symptoms. Sensodyne toothpaste has offered minimal relief but hasn't been a match for this level of inflammation, pain and sensitivity.
It's unbearable.
I've also been disappointed with the advice and guidance from my dentist. When I reported sensitivity during Week 1, they just referred me back to the generic instructions on the box and basically told me to persevere. I've emailed them separately to this review to ask for further guidance as I'm not going to complete the rest of the treatment without some personalised advice.
In terms of whitening: my teeth have always been a stubborn off-white and so far I can see that the treatment is achieving some degree of noticeable colour change in the morning, but it doesn't seem to last and by the evening I feel like I'm back to square one. You don't need to avoid staining foods and drinks during treatment. I have continued to have my usual one tea and one coffee daily and I always brush my teeth afterwards. I don't smoke or drink red wine, so shouldn't be challenging the treatment too much. My dentist assured me that my teeth would be sparkling white at the end of the treatment, but I'm not convinced.
I have had laser tooth whitening in the past which I actually found to be quicker and much less painful. I have always had stubborn off-white teeth and lasering didn't make my teeth film star white, but it was enough to make me happy to smile.
I'm not sure what to expect from this - I'd have expected better results after two weeks but accept that I still have a week to go. Having paid all this money, I want to try and see it through if possible and I'm hoping that if I have a break for my poor aching gums to calm down, I'll be able to complete it.I'll have to update my review with whitening results but for now I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!
Even without the side effects, using the trays everyday or night for 3 weeks is quite uncomfortable and inconvenient in itself, especially as the gel has to be refrigerated so you can't keep it in the bathroom.
I think when I paid £600 for this, I was somehow expecting something more advanced than a DIY process which involves just putting varying degrees of bleach on my teeth every day for almost a month.
I'm sure it works for some people but clearly, looking at all of the negative reviews, the side effects are a genuine concern and underplayed by dentists.

Live this toothpaste, bought initially to maintain brightness after tooth whitening process. The postage is always fast, always a discount code to buy multipacks and my teeth are still white. I have sensitive teeth so use both the normal whitening during the day and the sensitive at night. Great product.

Rubbish! I had better results with an in-house whitening experience! For £650 i was even just hoping for 5 shades brighter. I had to suffer through all those nights of wearing the guards that were an extremely tight fit- I could nt wait to get them off! The 2 stars is for the enlighten whitening toothpaste- at least that's decent. It's like a temporary whitening effect I don t believe all these reviews at all-no way has this system worked and given 16 shades on a majority of people just on its own. Absolutely no way. However, I am pleased that I used Enlighten because if I had used a cheaper system that had not worked I would have said if I had known I would have used enlighten instead of this. I ll stick to in-house whitening sessions!!
