Is not any more an hospital. Is nearly becoming a graveyard. Bad slow service. I went for appendicitis. 8 hours to do a scan. This is a joke. We pay a lot of tax in this country. Bad place to be. La... See more

India/Pakistan/Bangladesh have a better…
India/Pakistan/Bangladesh have a better medical system than this so called 1st world country. Their people want immigrants out, well good luck then running anything in NHS anyway. No consideration for patients, called at 7:00 for surgery and no time confirmed, waiting now and it is 13:00 and still no update, why would you just not call at times surgery is going to be, to add there were 17 people called at 7:00 am! brill! Honestly, the world healthcare system in the world!
@Manor Hospital, wallsall!
Mr Cheong Hung Lee Imperial NHS surgeon
When raising a separate issue regarding Mr Cheong Hung Lee Imperial NHS surgeon, the only advice we are now being given is to contact a solicitor if you have any concerns, from Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust. The fact that the hospital themselves are now directing patients to seek a lawyer and legal advice against him, and that his name has now been removed from the hyperlinked consultant list on the website, is extremely concerning... Not sure what to think at this stage. This NHS Trust is an incompetent mess.
NHS app - not fit for purpose
I am 71 years of age and have NO PICTURE I.D. My NHS app is asking me to change password and has asked me for MORE I.D i.e 3 codes which they state can be obtained from my surgery. I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIME TO GET THE 3 CODES, BY PHONE, BY EMAIL AND BY EMAIL TO NHS BUT NO JOY. Why do I need 3 codes, is one no enough!!!!. Unable to order my medication
Caring for my mum shouldn’t feel like…
Caring for my mum shouldn’t feel like fighting a war
Review:
I’m a full-time public service worker and the daughter and carer of my 80-year-old mother, Nola Lewis. She was one of the first women of colour to work in Parliament, an expert in shorthand, typing, and administration — helping the nation in ways that often go unrecognised.
Now, after a lifetime of service, she is struggling with a system that should be helping her. From St Helier, St George’s, and Epsom hospitals, we’ve seen lost medical records, missing letters, and referrals that never seem to reach the right people. Even her GP, who is brilliant, has just 10–30 minutes per appointment and often 20–50 patients a day — no one can keep track of decades of notes, handwritten letters, and multiple specialist reports.
The Continuing Healthcare (CHC) system has been a constant headache. Mum is entitled to funding, but applications have been delayed or denied again and again. While she was hospitalised at St Helier, mistakes were made in her care, and we had to submit formal complaints just to make sure she was looked after properly. Families shouldn’t have to fight for what is theirs.
I’ve seen first-hand the impact on carers like me — sleepless nights, endless phone calls, and constant anxiety. The system is broken, and every time mistakes escalate, the NHS ends up spending millions on complaints and legal action — money that could be spent on care.
I created IVY AI by AEDES Tech Ltd because enough is enough. It’s a simple, practical tool that helps families track appointments, referrals, CHC claims, and hospital correspondence — keeping carers, patients, and NHS staff on the same page. It isn’t a business idea; it’s a lifeline for families like mine.
This isn’t just my story. It’s the reality for countless carers across the country. We shouldn’t have to fight the system to get basic care. Families deserve dignity, NHS staff deserve tools that make their jobs possible, and patients deserve to be seen and heard. ❤️🩹
Pleased with Care provided
Pleased with Care provided. Really supportive. Spending a lot of money at the hospitals in Manchester all over reply which is amazing. God bless it remains new and well cared for.
Lawrence Saballa terrible person
Good Morning,
I would like to make an anonymous complaint about Lawrence Saballa. Absolutely rude and spoke to me really horribly and made me cry. This man needs better training, and shouldn't be allowed to work with people. I also overheard him making a comment about my weight.
Kind Regards,
Sandra
Unhelpful
Why I gave 1 is because I have made 3 attempts to register in a GP online and failed - very confusing and overall useless site - will you please hire professionals? also, I called them, it was the same unhelpful for the guidelines on the phone and they never called back
As an autistic adult.
As an autistic adult.. who has wasted time teaching trainee psychologists experiences on autism about how terrible their services are. I can honestly conclude they don't have a clue. They treat high functioning autistic adults worse than excrement. They wonder what causes autistic people to try and commit suicide. Yet they constantly move the goal posts. Don't explain why. There's a lack of help and a lack of understanding. I have suffered with my own mental health issues and they haven't got any better with NHS. It's a revolving door. Your going in for neuraltypical treatment, wondering why it doesent work then having to wait several months for a re-referral just to go through the same mentally taxing Cr4p again.
I have lost all trust and respect for the NHS. It's not about people, it's about profit.
Doctors constantly striking saying money isent enough. Maybe protest to your CEO's and chief execs who are on £200,000 per year.
Fundamentally corrupt at all levels.
Great people!
I know that there are many issues with the NHS and I can understand many patients feelings, but they have an impossible task with the ever increasing numbers and more complex and expensive treatments.
The care received by my elderly mother has been prompt and appropriate, and administered by knowledgeable, professional and cheerful people and at no time have I felt her to have been in any way treated differently because of her age.
I have the highest regard for all those working in what must be a very difficult environment.
Nhs services is getting worse and worse…
Nhs services is getting worse and worse day by day in uk. Every one should not pay tax and insurance at all......
My auntie passed away
My auntie passed away, she went to A&E 3 times and turned away, as she was advised it was only a BUG, and then she had a stroke, got some treatment, and 2 weeks later it turned out cancer stage 4.
It sucks
Chase Farm Hospital
From my visit 8th August to Chase Farm Hospital. Jane in dermatology and the Urgent Care Doctor (who I think was Dr Dehnadi Homa from the letter to my GP) were both marvellous. Receptionist in Urgent Care very helpful as was everone there including Blood Test receptionist. I feel very fortunate to have Chase Farm so closeby. Just what you need when you are unwell.
Amazing staff
They treated me with the up most respect , helped me through my breast cancer treatment, we're so nice friendly and extremely helpful ,there deserve more credit than what they get , I'm now cancer free thanks to the NHS staff at Fazakerley elective care breast unit and clatterbridge cancer centre Aintree Hospital
I wish I could give a zero star
I wish I could give a zero star. The worst system I have ever experienced in my life. So unbothered about health and life. Always quick to prescribe a medication rather than actually fix the issue. Appointment dates take months and years to get (probably waiting for the individual to get worse). I made a mistake believing things would change. I have waited for years for a surgery and still being tossed around. Doctors cancel appointments last minute and no follow up is attempted. I hate the nhs system from the depths of my heart. Staff are rude and uncaring. How do you have such people who work in healthcare, but yet treat individuals with disgust and disrespect. One once said I was sending long winded messages and they didn't have time to read (no time to read my questions and updates?). Can you imagine that? And this was even private health where you'd expect a bit more attention, especially for the amount being paid. They are all the same because the same people work in both private and the nhs. How do they even sleep and go about their lives like all is well? I am so close to cursing the heartless ones all out from the highest position and hoping they rip everything they have done to every single patient. Every single patient! I think the nhs should be scrapped and rebuilt so all the bad eggs can go. What a useless organisation.
So many bad reviews but yet nothing is done. Says a lot.
Elderly father euthanased without consent of PoA - he had lost capacity
I would give minus stars. Minus 5 to the NHS - the highly politicised, deeply corrupt "government medical establishment".
20/07/2024 - Haywards Heath Hospital, West Sussex, Ardingly Ward.
My dear, elderly father was euthansed with a morphine & midazolam syringe driver - WITHOUT MY CONSENT as PoA - he had lost capacity.
Apparently "they" (the govt medical establishment) can euthanase your loved one WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT.
My dear suffered a horrific, protracted, euthanased, medicalised death in Haywards Heath Hospital, July 2024 - suffocating, paralysed for many hours.
It was not "for comfort".
He spent a hideous 3.5 months in 3 different hospitals with loss of ALL of his dignity, suffered "sinking in bed syndrome" and received poor care in all 3 hospitals. There were a few good nurses here and there, who cared for him intermittently - that is it. No consistency of staff rotas for HCAs, nurses, doctors - all doctors were "junior".
In Brighton Hospital, on the first evening, in a side room on Louisa Martindale Ward - after a hideous 30+ hours in A&E - he was dropped from the bed to the floor in a nursing negligence accident, by incompetent staff.
18/07/2024 - I was told in an upbeat, cheery, inappropriately mannered **telephone call** by staff nurse that a morphine and midazolam syringe driver had been put on my father. I had been going to the hospital every day and yet I was NOT informed of his 'end of life (NON) care' plan. The Hospital breached their own protocol.
At Haywards Heath Hospital, NOT ONCE did I get to meet his (too busy) consultant (only at a 'formal complaints' meeting) just a stream of different junior doctors.
He was put on "end of life" without us being informed, his regular medications were stopped. I was told AFTER.
My requests to take him home - his wishes were to die at home - were blocked, I was told his care needs were "too high".
People - please protect your loved ones who are in hospital, more so the elderly and vulnerable.
ZERO nhs trust / confidence.
There is so much more to the above story - I am expecting the AI interference to block this post.
The case is now with the Ombudsman - however I am not expecting any acknowledgement / ownership of NHS serious failings.
A Young Life Ruined by the NHS and GPs
Misdiagnosed and Mistreated the disabilities I grew up with my entire life. Leading to extreme harm and irreversibly destroying every area of it.
The biggest regret of my life, is that I ever put any faith in Useless GP's and the Awful, Uncaring, Negligent, Joke that is the NHS.
NHS policy forces patients to wait for infection
I came with severe pain from a recurring ingrown toenail — a condition I’ve had surgery for before. The doctor was nice and kind, but due to NHS policy, no treatment is offered until the toe becomes infected and antibiotics fail.
Basically, you have to suffer through months of pain, take unnecessary antibiotics, and only then wait another year for surgery.
My year's experience of NHS service
I'm not going to be around the bush the NHS has saved my life but but it's also absolutely catastrophically collapsed and wrong now of having brain surgery years ago and experienced the most amazing stuff to recently have in multiple fractures in my right leg and experiencing the most violent disgusting dishonest lying to rag staff you could ever wish to me not only does the energies need a massive reform but it needs to get rid of these vile staff really do hurt patients maybe not physically although I think that will be coming soon but most definitely mentally
