The company just vanished
The company just vanished, their servers are down, the domain doesn't exist anymore, the app is not working since they have no servers, and all the encrypted files are gone because there is no decryption software - WTF? and this is the company SanDisk gave "for free" with their products?
Excellent customer support
Excellent customer support. They supplied detailed instructions on how to resolve my issue and sent a follow up email to check that all was resolved.
Malicious code on website, rubbish software and licensing model. AVOID.
Buy a lifetime license then a few months later the product line goes end of life and they try sell you another license. Shocked SANDisk partnered with these muppets and their rubbish software. As a result of all of this I got my USB out the safe to copy to a more reputable encryption software vault and my USB disk no longer has any secure folder on. No clue where it's gone but the last time I used the USB it was there and it's been in a safe ever since. Lastly, I clicked the link to see the pricing for their new software and my anti virus blocks their website. Not the best look for a security software company lol. This company and their software is a joke. Bye.

I've contacted their support around…
I've contacted their support around December, possibly mid-December, via their Zendesk ticket system. I received an email reply from them on the 28th of Dec to say that they were busy; I should wait. Today is the 8th of February now. I have not received anything else from them since that last December.
Great support
Sloppy execution and terrible support.
The ENC data vault that comes with the SanDisk Ultra series flash drives works fine and is easy to use. All of the software is installed on the USB (no installation of the PC) and you use it by creating folders in the vault if you like and then dragging files or folders from another location such as your C drive.
However, dragging and dropping is fine for an occasional file or occasional use but not for doing backups. I prefer synchronization methods rather than differential or incremental methods for backups. In the synchronization method, you essentially have an image of the directory tree that you are backing up and the sync backup works by adding/deleting/replacing files in the backup image when files in the source location have been added/deleted/changed so the backup is much quicker and restoring is much easier.
I couldn't get details on how ENC's sync method worked but for $15 USD I just went ahead and decided to buy the license. Completing the buying process, more specifically paying them was problematic and I should have take that as a sign that I shouldn't have anything to do with ENC. After getting error messages for a couple of hours when attempting to pay the $15 using MS Edge, I remembered that some websites don't work with MS Edge so I launched FireFox and quickly completed the payment. ENC probably should change their payment code to work with Edge or at least put in a message on the payment page to use another browser.
When making the payment you need to enter an ID (your email) and a password. After doing this and completing the payment, I never received any confirmation or welcome message or email. I checked my PayPal account and confirmed that $15 was paid to ENC. I then tried to access my account but was unable to do so. I found and ENC password reset screen and entered my ID. I tried to enter my ID/password in the DataVault upgrade. None of these efforts worked and I repeated the tries over a few days. If I received a message at all is was "Oops. Something went wrong", or the form field would turn red.
I opened a support ticket 1 month ago and have not heard from ENC yet. I don't know if their software is vapor ware or just poorly executed but I'm not going to entrust something as important as my backups to a company that executes so poorly.
I was looking for an integrated solution for both encryption and synchronization and thought that ENC might have such a product. My then current method of encrypting and synchronizing was getting old and I wanted something new. After ENC bombed, I opted to use VeraCrypt for encryption and Allways Sync for backup which is working well.
FYI - I have no employment or business connection to any organization or firm involved with software or computer hardware.

Make sure you have a backup, you'll need it.
App hung while working with vault. Restarted and app wouldn't accept my vault password. Support took 3 weeks to answer ticket and offered no resolution.
Proably the most crap software I have come across and paid for in years AVOID AVOID AVOID
Very badly written both in functionality and HCI not intuitive, paid to upgrade so I can schedule backups and still can't see how that is supposed to happen.
If you want an invoice (simple enough request you would think but No, you have to open a support ticket to get an invoice (still waiting for a reply a day later).
How the hell they got Samsung to agree to be an official partner beats me.
Got scammed into buying ENC all from…
Got scammed into buying ENC all from the free version that came with Sandisk 64Gb secure thumbdrive. It's the worse so-called secure app ever purchased while I've never had problems with VeraCrypt which is free. They are full of idiotic issues which customer support can never resolve:
1. Mounting to drive letter only works IF you install the app on the desktop which defeats the purpose all together! How can it be secure if it's software is found on the desktop?
2. Sync function crashes EVERY time! Well I've tried using it because I've paid for it but out of 6 attempts, 5 will definately crash. The App will just begin sync then closes. When I try to relaunch the app, it says it's already running.
3. Because it is so erratic, I'm not able to sync across my backup drives. I tried to use it as a standalone backup but eventually gave up.
4. Compared to free VeraCrypt, it's features are so limited but most of all totally unreliable.

Useless and rude support--waste of money
Well, this is another case of "if I could, I would give it zero stars." The company could not care less if the software works as their own website and sales literature says, and the support (I only exchanged emails with Gary Kilgour) is useless and rude. Of course, they would not refund your purchase even when they agree, in writing, that the software does not do what the website and the offers say it would. It's a case of utter misrepresentation. The software as it turns out, is just a very simple file encryption piece of code, many of which are share-ware, much better documented, and with many more useful features. These guys rely on the visibility that SanDisk gave them to sell an inferior product that ends up not doing what gain them the visibility in the first place. Do not waste your money. Rude, ignorant, and useless.
Its a scam, stay away
Do not buy this piece of crap software, it dosent even look like SanDisk SecureAccess software, looks like it was designed by another company and for windows xp. so its not a upgrade, its a downgrade.
And a refund...? just forget about it..
Works as expected.
So far, so good with the USB stick and the private access vault. The initial time to transfer the files and encrypt was pretty comparable to using BitLocker to encrypt a usb drive. I like it because you can have encrypted and non-encrypted data on the drive, the user interface is friendly and usable. I'll update this review after i purchase the lifetime sub.
This software is a piece of crap
This software is a piece of crap! It is full of bugs and the technical support is almost non-existent!

Dire Straits
After paying for ENC encryption software, put in the right password, but says it's the wrong password. Seems to be a common theme in posts - paying for ENC software and then password/activation not working. To borrow some words from MK, "It ain't working.... Money for nothing" (and, BTW, no chicks for free)
기술지원에 만족한다.
I made the wrong password and was having a hard time not being able to use it.
Fortunately, the technical support center handled it well, so it is being used well.
Would NOT recommend. NO customer support !
I e-mailed them in December, they replied on the 26th of January. Though through some miracle I solved the problem on my own, this is no way to treat your customers. From my point of view, there is 0 customer support and should receive 0 stars. 1 star is way too much for how they treat their customers!
I have paid to upgrade twice, still doesn't work
