READ BEFORE PAYING HIM ANYTHING
READ BEFORE PAYING HIM ANYTHING! Jacob F. got 50% deposit, did partial sloppy work, and very suddenly demanded more money if I wanted him to finish the job. I'd much rather have the quality job we agreed to instead of write this review, but looks like we're past that point. I'm happy to talk to anyone to share more (plenty of proof in texts).
Cliff notes: Very promising at first, after all he is into marketing and knows how to say right the right things to draw you into business, but generally overpromises, underdelivers, then blames client. Sloppy paint job, there is paint on walls, floors, behind painters tape. Said he would fabricate epoxy in his shop, ended up doing it at my house. Kept postponing or forgetting appointments, but blamed me for long project timeline. Made it seem like he'd install my undermount sink (even his partner had the same impression), but then refused. ALL OVER the place with money: one day demanded payment in full that day before work was even nearly finished (to "pay his rent due tonight"), then rescinded, but still wanted full payment in a few days even if job unfinished, then next day demanded partial remaining payment or he wouldn’t come back over like he said he would. He waited until last second to fabricate backsplashes though he’d had measurements for a week, had to push back another appointment because they were still wet, then got mad when I said I couldn't take off work for it. He will not give back items of mine he still has (told me to just buy more on Amazon). Suddenly demanded more payment ahead of time because of my "nit picky edits" (see text screenshot and close-up photos... corners exposed, edges not smooth with particle board texture showing, and there's a literal slope/uneven piece he had sloppily glued together). Longer review USED to be on his FB page Epoxy EP, but looks like he took the page down completely.
