Took Responsibility after service did not meat expectations
I called Elite because my booster pump had stopped working and I was losing water well beyond normal evaporation — a clear leak. My regular company was booked out over a week, so given the urgency of ongoing water loss, I searched and found Elite. Their quote was more than double my usual company's rate, but I felt the situation justified paying for a faster, thorough investigation.
What happened:
Wrong day, no notice. We scheduled the visit for Wednesday, August 26 — I'd specifically flagged unavailbility. The team showed up on the wrong day (I appriciate the fast turn around - but timing and notification could have been better)
Diagnostic work not as expected . They ran a pressure test and confirmed pressure was fine. Beyond that, there was no dye tests
No work on the pump. For one of the actual reasons I called — the booster pump — they simply switched it on and off and told me I needed a new one (This may be true, but there should be more diagnostics done)
Billing arrived promply, no resolution. Within minutes of the team leaving, I'd received two texts, two emails (including the invoice and a quote for further work), and a phone call.
I paid promptly, but for the price, I got speculation instead of diagnosis, a pump verdict with no real investigation
After reaching out and letting them know the issues, Elite Swimming Pool & Spa offered a full refund
