Needed a tv to play PS5 on in the…

Needed a tv to play PS5 on in the bedroom so did some reearch for a 120hz screen. Came to the shop and was able to compare OLED to QLED and ended up going for the Samsung QLED. Hooked the PS up to the tele and havent stopped playing battlefield since. 10/10 from me

Dreadful experience

Bought TV in November, fault occurred weeks after delivery, notified EW, response slow. Eventually picked up TV for repair, 6/7 weeks later returned today and I’m shocked at the screen damage. White marks/scratches across the full screen. Unbelievable they would send it out in that state and such a shame the damage that’s been done to the TV. Tried calling delivery company minutes after they left, no response, emailed company straight away and tried calling. Requesting a full refund and return of product. Original payment method and bank notified. I would certainly not recommend this company based on my personal experience.

Great TV and fantastic customer service

I purchased what was advertised as a 65"LG G5 Oled TV in grade A condition for a great price. When it arrived the TV was intact a 65" LG G4 Oled. It was in a G5 box and was not noticed as a G4 until I did a software update. The TV is in pristine condition and works perfectly. I contacted customer services who immediately offered a refund to adjust the price to reflect a grade A 65" LG G4 plus an extra £50 on top as a good will gesture. I am very pleased with the TV and very impressed with the customer service give. I highly recommend this company.

Ordered on Friday

Ordered on Friday, TV arrived Tuesday as promised and the damage that they listed was basically invisible. Saved £380 off other retailers online so i am super chuffed.

Ghosting isn’t cool

The tv itself was good, came without a stand which was as described, however pray you don’t need to rely on customer service for anything. Remote control wasn’t sent with the tv, they sent one, it was both damaged and the wrong one. Now they are ghosting me so they don’t have to pay £30 for the right remote. Shocking behaviour.

Not replying to my emails after collecting tv

I ordered a tv which was delivered with a crack in the screen which wasn't disclosed so I contacted them for refund and they said they would repaid it. I agreed and they collected the tv but it has now been 2 weeks and they are not responding to any of my emails. I have emailed them everyday for past 5 days for an update.

Doesn’t work and no response from EW!

I used these guys a few years ago and was totally satisfied-so they seemed the obvious choice for my new TV/gaming monitor.
Delivery was prompt and friendly -no issues there.
However, it has no remote and for some reason universal remotes won’t work on it. This means the entire thing is unusable. I’ve contacted Electronic World to ask if they can either send me the remote or replace it. I’ve had no response so far whatsoever. I’m left with a giant brick essentially. Disappointed as I had such a good experience initially. Mistakes happen but it’s how you deal with them and simply ignoring customers isn’t a way to get further business! I paid on Klarna so might have to force a refund. Citizens Advice/Trading Standards will be an option if they continue to ignore my request. The consumer has a legal right to expect a working product.
Edit: having some of the other negative reviews about EW putting old parts from other brands in their TVs, perhaps that’s why the universal remotes for all Samsungs doesn’t work! Maybe it’s only 20% Samsung in there?
Edit: they contacted me asking if I wanted a replacement or refund. I’ve heard absolutely nothing since and unless they contact me within the next few days, am opening a case with the small claims court. I would advise others in the same position do as well.

I wish I knew this store existed before…

I wish I knew this store existed before spending a small fortune on my previous tv! I was looking for a spare tv or projector for my bedroom and when I started looking I wouldn't even dream that I will land a better TV for my bedroom that what I've got in my living room.

I got Samsung S90F that's pretty much brand spanking new for half the price of what I paid for my S92C that's been sitting in my living room for the past 2 years. I will probably upgrade to 77 inch model in a year or so, will definitely look at what's available at electronicworldtv.

Absolute bargains in this store, love them. The delivery was quick, I only waited for 4-5 days before it was delivered to me. Delivery guys were great, they unboxed the tv for me and waited for me to test if the tv powers on. I still can't believe I got this tv so cheap.
