Buying a new home as they say is one of the most stressful events that can occur. So having someone at the end of the phone line to sort out all your issues is vital. You hear of many horror stories of developers taking the money and abandoning their customers. But I have to say Bee at Customer Care has helped me so much. I have moaned, joked and probably cried she has always gone out of her way to look after me. Her telephone manner, empathy and compassion are next to none.Thank you Bee. Can someone please give this lady a pay rise. Thanks!

Still no time line or plan to correct the remaining defects including the sewer drain lid, out of square walls and the half finished jobs that where started around Easter along with the other issues

Dawn is super helpful and knowledgeable. She is patient and takes time to make sure you have all the information you need. The development is gorgeous, and the houses are very high spec.

I recently bought a property from Eccleston Homes and I can strongly recommend their services. The whole process of finding the property, buying and aftercare has been fantastic. I also have to say that Yvonne Ball (the lead salesperson) was instrumental in us buying the property. She had such a kind, caring, knowledgeable and no pressure sales manner. Since moving into the property it has been fantastic. The house is very well built and we can’t speak highly enough of everyone who made it happen. They have made an excellent new neighbourhood befitting of the surroundings. Thank you so much.

Anne made my experience great.
She is extremely helpful, is honest and is an excellent advocate for her employers. In fact she has all the skills of a great salesperson. She listens, offers the best information she can and knows who to contact in order to address any issues for which she may not have the answer.
Through Anne I am extremely impressed with Eccleston Homes thus far in my search for a new place to live. I hope very much to become a customer of yours. This is down to my perception of the quality of your product, and to Anne.

Quality work

My wife passed away in the early part of 2022 following a short undiagnosed illness leaving me totally devastated. As a consequence I found it extremely difficult to stay in my existing home and decided to sell up and make a fresh start in a new area.

I originally started the purchase process with another house builder in St Helens, who shall remain nameless, as they became a nightmare with delay after delay, putting the sale of my home at risk, eventually I aborted the purchase.

I looked online and found the Eccleston Homes Lords Fold development and came along to look. After speaking with Yvonne, she explained the stages of the development and the house location that I was interested in (The Clitheroe). Unfortunately, it would not be completed until September 2023 and there was no show home. However, Yvonne very kindly arranged a viewing at a home already occupied by a young family on the development to give me a better idea and feel for the house.

I can honestly say Yvonne has been a great help to me, giving me advice and guidance throughout my house purchase journey. She has been a Consummate Professional, often when I have been quite tearful, as I am still grieving.

I completed the purchase 15.09.23 and I am very happy with my new house, which I am turning into a home.

There were a couple of minor snags, which is to be expected from a new build house being kick started into action with full occupation and use. I feel it's appropriate to mention Dave (Site Manager) and all his guys who have been amazing, actioning issues promptly with a sense of urgency.

We’re only in the early stages of our purchase journey but we’ve been really impressed with the sales team at Eccleston Homes. It’s clear they employ a certain ‘type’ of salesperson and Anne Newman is a chip off the old block. Since recently taking over at Viscount Green, she has been a joy to deal with; she’s extremely personable, welcoming and helpful. We’re excited for the next steps of our (potential) journey and we’re glad we’ll be able to share our experience with Anne who genuinely seems to have our best interests at heart.

NHMC escalation letter handed in today.
Will see if this accelerates the pace of the remedial works, most of the end customer should never have seen they should have been dealt with my the site manager as they happened and corrected before the customer was asked to complete the sale.
Over 9 weeks of ownership of this house and it will be next week before it is suitable to move into at the earliest.

Aftercare once moved in at Walton-le-Dale site
Moved in June at Walton-le-Dale House is of a very high standard, few small issues but have been sorted by Eccleston team. We want to give a big shout out to Rosie Khan and Craig the site manager, any noticeable issues were sorted immediately by them and always checked in afterwards to make sure we were happy. We had Rosie during the whole process who again was outstanding during the purchase, unfortunately she has moved to different site and working ay Hyde site,
Craig and Rosie always put the customer frist

We recently visited the new site in Horwich, Bolton (Viscount Green) and we were assisted by Michelle. We found her to be ever so helpful and as this site is new with no show homes built yet, she advised us of a show home we could visit at the Scholars Place site in Scarisbrick. We visited that site just to view the size of the show homes so that we could make an informed decision about the house type we would then look at on the Viscount Green development. Martin assisted us at the Scholars Place site and even though he knew we would not be purchasing any properties on his site, he was the most helpful sales person we have ever dealt with, going the extra mile to give us details and helping us with measurements of the room sizes etc. Even though he would not receive any commission if we went ahead and purchased a property on the Viscount Green site, he still went above and beyond to help us and we would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting the Scarisbrick site. We would also recommend Michelle to any visiting the Viscount Green site.
