Ebid is a safe place to buy and sell. Ebid selling fees are much cheaper than ebay, and we don't have to put up with the constant seller harrassment that ebay specialises in. However, it has taken a long time to get a sale. Ebid should do more promotion work.

Very happy with my ebid eperience, an easy platform to use with no hassle. Hopefully the footfall will increase and make this the first port of call when buying or selling.

As a seller ,this is the place to be. The fees are the cheapest around. Platform is easy to use.

I think people are still tending to not trust ebid as it sounds too good to be true compared to other greedy fee grabbing sites. I've been a member for many years and the life time fee is as exactly as it says, meaning I can sell items much cheaper and I don't loose out. Just needs more people to make it their first port of call when searching for something.

I've been using eBid for since 2010 and I can honestly say that I have had nothing but good experiences with it.

It is far cheaper than eBay to list items, the final value fees are cheaper and the customer service staff are faster to respond and are far more helpful in general.

The downside is that eBid is not as popular as eBay with less users but this should change over time. Also, eBid does not have the flexible, multi-variant listing tools that eBid has.

Overall however, I would recommend eBid. In general, I think it is pretty good and I have sold many items through it.

I found what i was looking for and at a good price. The website was easy to use to make an account and making a buynow purchase. Im learning how to use the site and so far i like it.

This a great e-commerce platform, I just started to use it and I think it's one of the best options available. I recommend it.

2nd UPDATE: After reading my review here and looking at the screenshots I provided showing my poshmark 5 star feedbacks and their code on my about me page, ebid unlocked my account finally. I said I would adjust my review if they did and so as a person of my word, here's the update back to 5 stars again.

UPDATE: Ok so it's been a month now and ebid has shut my account down for no apparent reason. They basically stole the 69.99 I paid to become a lifetime seller and have given me ZERO reason why they decided to shut my account down but they're demanding copies of my drivers license and utility bills which I'm not comfortable giving them. The other option they gave me was to link another site I sell on to verify my identity. Which isn't good enough for them apparently because I've done that and I still have a shut down account I can't even log into. I don't want them to be linked to my ebay account so I used my poshmark account. I put their stupid code on my about me page, I've now had to email them with screenshots asking why my account is still not opened back up and gotten only crickets back. DO NOT PAY THEM TO BE A LIFETIME SELLER WHATEVER YOU DO. THEY WILL BASICALLY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT A MONTH LATER WHEN THEY'RE MAKING NO ADDITIONAL FEES OFF OF YOUR SALES. EBID IS A TOTAL SCAM! IF THEY UNLOCK MY ACCOUNT AND OPEN IT BACK UP I'LL BE GLAD TO CHANGE MY REVIEW TO REFLECT THAT BUT AS OF NOW THEY'RE CON ARTISTS IN MY BOOK.

Let's be real I was skeptical about ebid since I had never really heard of it. I have been selling on the other online platform Eb*Y for the past 15 years and it is garbage now so I've looked at other selling sites and nothing is as good as Ebid.net! It reminds me of how Eb*Y to be in the beginning before they ruined it. I opted in for the lifetime seller one time fee they offer so I could take advantage of the no fees for life listings I'm running. I use only one picture per listing so there's 0 fees. If I were to use 2-10 pics I would only pay 2% in fees which is still incredible and well worth it. Buyers pay you through PayPal so that's also the way Eb*Y used to be and since Eb*Y changed that to their managed payments system the website is in the toilet. So now I have my freedom to get paid immediately again thanks to ebid.net!! If you option for the free account with ebid you still only pay like 4% in fees if you use the 10 pictures which is a steal! My profit is finally up thanks to ebid! My business had almost gone under because Eb*Y started charging 24% in fees since they changed to their managed payouts which is highway robbery. Say goodbye to SCAMMERS forever with ebid also as you're able to leave the buyers negative feedback as well and in fact it's encouraged and required to get your selling fees refunded (if you have any) for unpaid items. This eliminates all of the con artists from trying to purchase here as they have to go through PayPal for the dispute process which is much more rigid than Eb*Y who will refund anyone for any reason. I've got nothing but wonderful things to say about ebid, they even advertise on Google shopping for you at no extra charge! EBID.NET will replace Eb*Y in the next few years as it's a complete game changer to get your online selling back on track with actual profit being made on each sale. It also gives you the ability to charge tax if needed and not to charge it for items where tax was already paid on it and should not legally be charged again on it. Limits the gov's reach which I really enjoy. Items that have already had tax paid on them should not incur taxes again on a second sale it is against all of what this nation was founded on. I'm loving ebid.net and I hope that this review helps other Eb*Y sellers and Amaz0n sellers to make the switch and ditch the 24% seller fees for good!

we ask a question to ebid staff we get the run around and nothing resolved our entire experience on this site sucks bad for one we paid for a plus account so there are zero fees yet we get charged fees monthly to this date and zero sales from this site. we have had a total of three sale in a year seriously what a crappy result We asked how to close the account instead of getting the requested info we get the run around again with a answer that has zero to do with the question? Whatcrap

First class support. Always respond same day and quickly at that. My issues get resolved.

A charlatans platform for shiesters. Unsupportive, care not and get nowhere company. First purchase bought as "new and sealed", a pair of electric toothbrushes at £40. Received a tatty open box with dust and beard shavings all over the contents. Messaged the seller, no response.

Had to search for ages to figure a way to report the seller, only to get a care not reply of 'talk to the seller not us'. Requested my ebid account be closed asap and went via PayPal for refund.

eBay is expensive and annoying but far better and safer than ebid in the long run, and that's saying something. Again, ebid is profit focused same as eBay, and attracts a lot of sellers with the same ethos - not customer care. At least eBay makes it easier to report buyers and sellers, and sometimes deals with them.

Never using ebid again and one day a company will outdo eBay, but I doubt it will be ebid. The fact ebid chose a name so similar to eBay is an indication of desperate attempts to swag members and profit in an unruly manner.
