Late and Didn't Test Critical Systems
Late to both appointments and performed an incomplete Marine Survey.
Jim was late to both the dry survey and the sea trial.
His survey reported "The electrical systems were tested and found to be working properly with no defects noted" despite a non-functioning fuel gauge, starboard navigation light not functioning, bilge blowers not functioning, bilge pump not functioning from helm controls.
Jim did not test many of the critical boat systems including: Head system, fresh water system, bilge pump, bilge blower, and navigation lights.
The survey had multiple contradictions, typos and a duplicate paragraph. It is clear that very little time was spend creating the report. Example: "The tanks were found to be properly bonded" two pages before "repair broken/corroded bonding wires" appears as an essential item.
If you are looking for someone to perform a thorough survey on a boat, look elsewhere.
I contacted him to request a refund and he hasn't responded.
