This is one of the worst online stores

This is one of the worst online stores. Their merchandise is terrible quality. I purchased an expensive bag from them and it broke in less than 30 days.I didnt even wear it 10 times. When I contacted Ebags they basically told me too bad, so sad. Their chat CSRs flatly refused to answer a single question and every person I spoke to either online or on the phone lied through their teeth. I had to make a GIGANTIC issue about it and go full Karen before they started to believe that I was serious about not going away until they made it right. Now "management" is suddenly involved.

All they had to do was the right thing. I would have been more than happy with a $20 credit on my account or a bag exchange, but no, they had to choose to refuse to stand behind the merchandise they sell.

Now they get what they deserve, and I'll never spend a dime with them again. I'll be sharing my story far and wide. Do not trust Ebags. I could have gotten the same bag for almost half the price on Amazon and been way less aggravated. I wanted to avoid giving Amazon the money; turns out Ebags is way worse. At least Amazon would have given me proper customer service and a full refund (or exchange) with no arguments.

I would have been content with decent service. Now I'm on a rampage, thanks to them.

Current products are shoddy compared to 5 years ago

I purchased a laptop bag in Oct 2019 and used the bag 3 times, the zippers on one of the compartments both came off making the bag now useless. I bought the identical bag I purchased 5 years ago (the lining was tearing out and I decided to replace it). The old bag (except for the lining) is in perfect working order.

Quality of merchandise is not what it used to be. Super disappointed. I reached out to them via email and because I am beyond 30 days of purchase they said there was nothing they could do.

Inferior Quality Products, Especially handbags.....

I'm not quite sure where ebags gets their products from. They say that they are shipped from the manufacturer's warehouse, but I have bought the exact same bag from a manufacturer and from ebags and ebags bags are far inferior. The quality is very poor compared to the manufacturer. If this is true, the bags should be exactly the same. Does anyone know where their bags come from???? Are these factory seconds and this is the reason for inferior quality. Anyway, I will not purchase from this site again.

I know I cannot get a refund

I know I cannot get a refund. But just want it to be known that I ordered a bag that was leather. At first when it arrived I was pleased with all the compartments it had for my things because I like organizing. But then I was feeling of the leather & it was rough all over & not the glossy shine leather usually is. Well I just looked over it anyway. I have had it a few mths, tonight when I went to pull the front zipper closed the leather above totally ripped apart.This cannot be fixed, it's the front facing of the purse. I paid almost $100 for a purse that's lasted maybe 4 mths. Never order from them again. They are very pricey for the quality they are selling.

I have had good luck with ebags in the past however, my most recent dealings with them will be my last. I ordered 3 wallets. I live in Florida and they were, for some unknown reason, shipped to an address in Illinois. Initially, they said they would reship to me. Later they said the items were not in stock. I then requested a refund. I have not yet received my refund and I am extremely disappointed that ebags has taken so long to issue it. This delay in issuing a refund is NOT acceptable!

I subscribe to the New York Times Daily…

I subscribe to the New York Times Daily Headlines emails. There are ebag animated ads that are extremely annoying and there are 4 ads in each email. I've contacted ebags and they say there is nothing they can do about the ads. I've contacted the NYT and they it's a vendor issue. I'm not happy.

Good customer service.

I purchased a coat for my daugher's birthday. It was the wrong size. I contacted Ebags about the exchange and they don't do "exchanges" I had to return the item and then reorder. I returned the original coat and received a refund. When I went to purchase the new one (after teh holiday sales) it was $62 more. I contacted customer service and they honored the price that I paid and are returning the $62 to my account. Whatever their issue might have been, I have had a good experience so far.

Did not recieve item purchased as ebags…

Did not recieve item purchased as ebags believes UPS lost it. They will not give me a refund until UPS does an investigation but clearly on their site it says it was not delivered to me. I purchased 2 items to be delivered before the 23rd and I only received one. Item recieved will go back and I will never do business with a company who treats their customers this way.
Btw, they wanted me to wait even longer to get the luggage should it come and their site wont let me write a review since there was an error on their part. Poor service all around.

This company customer service stinks

This company customer service stinks. First I order three bags and only get shipped two. Over a week ago I asked that the third bag be shipped I was told that it was going to be here in two days. It’s the day before Christmas Eve , The day that I was told it was going to be arriving. No such luck. And of course I’ve called four times because I’ve never received any “tracking information“ like I was told I was going to. And I speak to the simple minds on the other line who cannot simply change the two day shipping to overnight. Because it’s already been shipped. If it’s already been shipped? ,,.... Why haven’t I received my tracking information? Obviously it hasn’t. This company needs to shut down and re-organize. By the looks of the reviews on this place, they shouldn’t even be in business

I have to agree with all the other reviews. I wish I had checked this first. You cannot cancel the order. I ordered an hour ago on a Sunday and they say that the item already shipped even though I will not receive the my order with "two day" shipping until next week.

This was absolutely terrible

This was absolutely terrible. I ordered the wrong item, and immediately tried to cancel the order, literally 2 seconds after I bought it, and I NEVER got a response. Finally, AFTER it shipped, I was charged to return the item. And still not refunded. Terrible service. Not trustworthy.

I wanted to exchange an item that I bought for another color (the website color was inaccurate) and they wanted to charge me 7:95 for the return (they call it a restocking fee or something) and then charge me again to ship the exchange item if I did not order additional items to meet their criteria for their free shipping. I was $1.26 under their amount for free shipping. I did not want to spend another 20.00 on something I did not need or want to get the free shipping. It is a racket.
I will be returning my item and absorb the 7.95 to be done with them
They lost me as a customer and I highly recommend that you stay away from eBags. There are many other options where you can purchase your items for traveling.

Step away from the cart

Horrible product. Horrible service. I’ve ordered 3 things from them - first was great. Second I assumed I had just made a bad choice when I got an overnight bag that was the worst quality I’d ever seen (I kept it) Third was a carry on suitcase that literally lasted 3 business trips. When I reached out to them they said my 30 day window to return had expired. Because most people take 3 trips within 30 days? Just order from amazon. Return a faulty product no questions asked. This company is a scam and should be put out of business.

Take items out of your cart

I had a duffel bag saved in my cart in the morning, and when I went to purchase it a couple of hours later it was removed. The site states it will keep items for 48 hours. This was removed after only a couple. The customer service person basically just said sorry to inconvenience you! This was a gift for my husband:(

Terrible site

Terrible site, terrible customer service. I bought a purse there that was completely misrepresented on the site. I decided to send it back only to learn they would charge me a 20% restocking fee. They show pictures that are not of what you are purchasing, then steal from you when you return it. This is a fraudulent site and should not be trusted.

Awesome bag for those who travel often

Awesome bag for those who travel often. It has tons of compartments for separating all the different characters items you may carry. Plus, they have excellent customer support. My bag unfortunately never made it in my hands through postage and they were quick to make sure I was delivered a bag two days after emailing them. Very happy with my service and customer care.

I always get email about sale and offer, but when I look and compare to the bags I already bought, it shows that they've increased the price by double and then apply the discount to bring it bag to its original price. Stupid!

Bought the Mother Lode Jr backpack

Bought the Mother Lode Jr backpack. Barely out anything in it. Way too heavy to carry. Even my husband felt it was heavy. Requested to return. 30 days was up before we got back from our trip. No way to try it out. There website states this, but I didn’t read it up front. I would buy somewhere else next time. Any one want to buy a brand new Mother Lode Jr?

Pay attention to the ratings on this company and look elsewhere.
