Horrible experiences with this company

Every time we have dealt with Eaton, it is always messy and a hassle. Their "delivery" driver can never be reached and this results in extremely delayed deliveries. They ship the wrong product, our waste toner was full but the ink was not depleted so we needed to get an empty waste toner delivered. Still waiting hours after it was supposed to be delivered. This company never comes through on commitments.

No interest in customers

I have an Eaton product I need assistance with. I have filled in their online contact form no less than three times, but no one ever contacts me.
I shall not be installing any Eaton products in the future since I simply cannot risk using equipment and components for which there is no support whatsoever.

Eaton Titchfield

Over a sustained period of working at Titchfield Eaton, I have experienced behaviour that I believe constitutes workplace bullying and discrimination regarding the management team. This has included unfair treatment, dismissive and intimidating conduct, and a lack of appropriate action when concerns were raised. Rather than being addressed, these issues have been minimised or ignored by management, leaving me feeling unsupported and vulnerable in my workplace.

The impact on my mental health has been severe. The stress and distress caused by both the treatment itself and management’s response have significantly affected my wellbeing, to the extent that I have experienced serious mental health distress, including suicidal thoughts. No employee should feel driven to this point as a result of their work environment.

Dont work here if youre not white. I am a short asian kid and between Feburary 2021 to August 2021.i was an online student and was 20 years old working here at Eaton Arden facility and This individual working in the paint line section named Robert kept preying on me and stalking me and asking people about my whereabouts where i took my break and who i talked to. And kept sharing my information to someone over the phone. This individual robert, was a hillbilly type guy who was about 40-50 years old and resembled kingpin from daredevil. He admitted to recently being out from prison and actively killed and around may he admitted to killing his girlfriends boyfriend. And had a knife full of blood in his backpack. I reported him dozens of times for stalking me and harassing me and making it look like im not doing my job to all my coworkers and making me look like a juvenile delinquent. And reported him for stalking me talking to this girl named Evelyn then making my other coworkers try to hit on her to isolate me out. my supervisor didnt help me. So I stood up for myself talked down on robert told him to get a life and quit picking on people 30 years younger than him. Robert began acting super aggressive and threatened my life. And then exposed my private information all over online. I quit and moved to Charlotte NC to just go to the university there. but him mistreating me, taunting me at work and exposing my private information online resulted in society isolating me and resulted in me suffering from dozens of medical conditions. I was not able to learn and grow and make friends. Throughout 2021. And 2022 and 2023. And still cant to this day. I have not been able to function, progress socially and academically and havent been able to grow because of this individual Robert. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Home alarm products that really haven't…

Home alarm products that really haven't worked since installation. Installer not really interested despite numerous calls to them and manufacturer that hides behind fact that I am a customer and not an installer and they cannot speak to me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - the products are cheap and nasty and don't work.

Had trouble connecting a PIR and door…

Had trouble connecting a PIR and door switch to a wired security system to include tamper protection. Contacted Eaton technical support on Friday afternoon and got the information back by the end of the day to install over the week end. The quality of its support defines a product and this was what you would espect from a big compay, bucking the AI chatbox trend.

Zero customer service

I was planning to buy a UPS from them and I tried first to find out some guidance on how to install their software on Linux in CLI, a tutorial if possible. I only received automatic reply e-mails telling "our team will address your request within 48 hours". 480 hours past and their team did not respond! Probably the team does not exist anymore!

Avoid at all costs!

Two month old battery failed back in January 2023. We now have 15th of May, still no replacement battery from Eaton.
Don't ever buy an Eaton UPS, they couldn't care less that one of their products has failed.
Go with APC instead!
