The employees were pleasant and helpful; however, the vehicle was in poor condition. It had a horrible smell that overpowered the air freshener. Additionally, the windshield wiper fluid was empty, so... See more

i rented a car two years ago in las vegas and remember the lady yelling that if you dont have your declarations page for insurance you have to biy their insurance. i had the info and didnt pay extra. ond my second trip sept 2025 i actually took my who insurance policy. the polite man said i didnt need it. as i cheked out i was give. no paperwok. when i got to room i checked my charge account. instead of charging me for insurance they snuck in my credit card 84.50$ for glass and tire insurance which my insurance policy covers. i called immediately and was told that the manager would take the 85$ off. when i brought the car back they said i should have come back. i was lied to. i never asked for the insurance. why would i take my policy with me if i wanted glass and tire insurance. it was a complete fraud on ther part fraud

I was told I had to add liability collision insurance which cost as much as the rental fee. I will never rent from Easirent again.

If I could give my experience a ZERO I would!
I had a prebooked car in Las Vegas. First the location is two shuttle buses away from the airport, and you arrive in a hangar with two desks... The queue was over 45 minutes, with only 2 people processing. Once I got there, the very disinterested staff was very happy to inform me that since I am not a US resident, I need to pay over USD 300 extra in insurance, which was 160% more than the price I had already paid!
At this stage, and having been in this hangar for over 90 minutes, I left and lost the money for my booking.
There was NO mention of extra cost before I got to the front desk.
Easirest: Cross border fee charged and no tax disc!
Rented (€79), a car for a week: which was great value. Didn’t realise that it didn’t cover the island of Ireland. So I was fined €100 as I hadn’t told them! So not great value at all. There was no tax disc on the car (which is illegal), and upon the driver. The Cork based employee incorrectly argued that it was their problem not mine. However it’s up to the driver to check the car is roadworthy, taxed and insured.
Never again!!!
Easirent Dublin
This has been my experience of Easirent car hire Dublin.
I booked a hire car last November for a golf trip in May last week.
Since making my car hire booking our flight times changed, so I contacted Easirent to see if the car would be ready a couple of hours earlier. They responded to my email quickly saying that it was quite possible that my car would be ready but they couldn't really change 3rd party bookings which mine was.
So, to be sure that my car was ready at the time my flight landed, I made another car hire booking (also with Easirent) and cancelled my original booking.
All good!
Whilst doing the rebooking process, I noticed some negative reviews about Easirent- which put me on my guard.
However, I needn't have worried.
We followed their rules and guidance and on arrival after phoning the company, a courtesy mini bus picked us up and after a minute or two we were at the Easirent office.
We had been asked to bring our driving licenses for me and the additional driver.
A driving history check, which the DVLA provides free of charge and only takes a minute or two to produce. A credit card in the name of the person making the booking and some utility bills.
We had all this information to hand, we had our own excess insurance so they had to have a charge put on our Cr. Card - which we were expecting. We were offered a couple of different cars other than the estate car booked, band & opted for a Dacia SUV which was fairly new.
All the staff we met were friendly and after a few working days my charge got removed from the credit card.
I videod a few scratches and dings that the car had on my phone on arrival, but these were also noted by the company and I had no problems when returning the car.
Overall, a really positive experience from Easirent and a company I would use again.
Just like renting a car in Mexico!
If you've rented a car in Mexico or like attending timeshare presentations, you will love Easirent. They, like Mexico car rental agencies, are in business to hook you with low prices and then nickle and dime you (only much larger) to death with add-ons. All in the fine print, they say. I was mostly ready for this knowing that their biggest add-on would be "required" CDW insurance. I came prepared with an American Express (Visa and Mastercard provide the extra CDW insurance also) printout showing CDW coverage for the rental car. I also had a copy of my State Farm insurance card showing liability insurance. I was all ready to go with a great price when I was asked if all my driving would be in Nevada (rented in Las Vegas). I said no that I would be traveling to a resort just across the border in St. George, Utah (1hr 47 min and 119 miles). The agent said it was a good thing I disclosed that as if I had not, it would have cost $1,000(read the fine print). So, she said she would simply only charge me $29.99 for the crossing. I said fine even though this is simply another add-on. But what it actually was was a $29.99 per day charge for crossing the border. That is an additional $108 to my $195 4-day rental. So make sure you have a copy of your credit card insurance coverage, a copy of your local insurance card and read all of the fine print before thinking you got a great price. On the positive side, the price was very good, prior to the surprise state line crossing, and the vehicle was new and clean. Just be prepared for the side hustle!

It's horrible
It's horrible, horrible renting agency. I've waited more than twenty minutes in Charlotte airport for shuttle, more than one hour to get car in agency. Additional to that, car got broken on third day of my travel. I was 300 km from location where I rented this car and I was advised by agent to come to original location to replace it. It's very horrible service. I had to rent another car from another company. I extremely not recommend to rent any cars from this company

During my car rental period from May 13 to May 16, 2026, in Las Vegas, Carter provided outstanding service, marked by a friendly demeanor that streamlined my experience and enabled a quick four-minute departure. Regrettably, the shuttle service fell short when the driver was noticed engaged in a phone conversation, creating an unsafe environment. This behavior poses risks for both the company and passengers, highlighting the need for attentive drivers to guarantee safety. The lives of our passengers are in the drivers' hands.

when we got to the phoenix airport at 6:30 pm they sent a van to tell they had no cars to rent even through had a confirmed reservation and had paid 30 days in advance. All other rental agency were sold out. Had a Airbnb rental in Tucson and no way to get there. Don't do business with these people

The price of the daily rental seems ok but when you get there they charged us over 200.00 more for the rental. Look elsewhere if possible.
These people are THIEVES!!
These people are THIEVES!!! I booked a rental online through booking.com. I was given a price within my budget, when I got to Arizona to pick up the car I was charged a totally different amount. I refused to sign the documents and informed the employee that I won't be getting the car. Before she had provided me with the total amount she ran my card and charged my account. When I told her that I didn't need the car anymore she responded and said why go though all this and not get the car? My account was charged without me getting a car from them. When I called ask them to refund my money I was told that they never had me in their system.
The worst car rental experience ever
The worst car experience ever. Hard to find the shuttle at the airport. Took us an hour going back and forth. No sign! Broken elevator. Only one shuttle for transportation, so more than 30 minutes wait in the heat with kids. Finally got the car, as we started driving, the car was shaking and had to go back and change it. So another 30 minutes since they didn’t have one ready. I DON T RECOMMEND THIS CAR RENTAL AT ALL
Worst possible experience
UPDATE: After this experience, I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General and was eventually reimbursed for part of our additional expenses. They covered the Uber from the airport to our condo, plus a very small tip (hopefully management tips better in real life than they did on this reimbursement), as well as the difference between the original rental price and what we had to pay for an Avis rental instead.
However, they refused to reimburse several other expenses directly caused by their failure to provide the vehicle we reserved. They denied coverage for the insurance on the replacement rental, claiming it was “optional,” even though it became necessary because we were forced into a one-way rental situation instead of returning the vehicle to the original location as planned.
They also refused to reimburse the Uber to breakfast the next morning transportation we would not have needed if we had the rental car we reserved and they denied the Uber cost to get to Avis to pick up the replacement rental.
In total, we incurred more than $500 in additional expenses because they failed to honor our reservation, and they reimbursed only $218.89. While I appreciate receiving something back, this situation should never have happened in the first place.
HORRIBLE experience. We had a PREPAID reservation booked since January, but when we arrived at the airport shuttle today, we were told they had overbooked and no vehicle was available for us or for several other customers waiting there.
We checked every rental car company at the airport, and not a single car was available anywhere. Our only options were to either spend the night at the airport and hope for a car in the morning or pay for an Uber. Because of their poor management and overbooking, we now have to spend $175 on transportation instead.
Completely unacceptable customer service and terrible planning. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company.
Struggle bus
At the Irving location in Texas:
We arrived on time to pickup our rental, but we had to wait an hour in order to receive our car. Then, the car they had for us had a crack across the entire windshield. They upcharge quite a bit of money for tolls. Staff was not unkind, but they were not friendly.
One staff member was scrolling social media while checking someone out, the staff had us sign the paper before marking the damages on the car which did not feel professional, and even though we had uploaded all of our documents prior to arriving, we needed to show them all over again. The return process was simpler than the pickup, however the staff member was not communicative and never told us when our checkout was complete, she just walked away without saying anything.
The shuttle drivers were very kind, safe drivers, and were extremely helpful. The shuttle process was easy to use.
