Hidden call out charge £185 Monday
Drain person was here 10 minutes time on work sheet I got 16.49 - 17.00

Rob (who was very pleasant) from Dyno rod just doing as he’s told (collecting money for no reason)
Came as I had a sewerage smell in my bathroom
He lifted the 4 drain covers outside no blockage found fat round sides of small 46cmx21cm 43cm deep drain from kitchen but no blockage
I flushed both the toilet Rob looked no blockage in drain from bathroom but exit pipe from toilet room next door boiler room has come slightly away from outside wall water partly falling outside on the ground but this toilet not used Rob then flushed toilet boiler room I looked saw same coming out exit pipe that’s come away from wall but not the bathroom smell problem!
As Dino Rod say no call out fee just pay for completed job nothing done still smell in bathroom but got a bill to pay immediately £185 cost of clearing unblocked drain which was on his ticket but NOT done as no drains blocked I said you have not done anything he said charge for I’m here working lifted 4 drain covers & noticed pipe on outside wall boiler room has come away from the wall how could you give a quote without lifting drain covers if thought prob was blocked drain
just £600 quote for fat in kitchen drain
Next day Tuesday neighbour came lifted kitchen drain cover to look at fat got a spade to remove NO fat it is cement in the drain not fat so why quote £600 no reason fabricated job I have a picture

just a quote to clean fat from drain £600 !!!! Get a spade clean fat out
My advise is to go look as I did when he was checking drains I saw no blockage under any of the 4 drain covers As some would probably say blocked when not
So I thought could not charge me to
unblock drain that did not need but did £185 I asked why charge for coming out & lifting 4 drain covers how Ridiculous!Tell me how could you give a price for work if do not look under drain covers! £46.25p to lift a drain cover

It's a worrying and difficult time with a blocked waste stack caused by years of scale and lack of use while the house has been empty for some time. Couldn't use the loo either of course. Dynorod were quick to attend, the staff told us exactly what was needed, used heavy equipment to solve the issue and all done in very quick time too. Excellent staff, Keiran and his colleague were friendly, communicative as well as very efficient and effective

Called when said they would. Called with a ETA and arrived at that time. Carried out works in a timely manner. Very professional and courteous with my elderly mother. All cleaned up and problem solved.
