I downloaded the app because of the security but I don't know if there is any!!
Within a week I had been compromised and had to cancel bank cards and change details to be safe as there where charges attempted purchases don't know if it's this app but it was the only new thing I had done to my internet account for months 😞

Worthless! Lousy search results. l I have been using for many years, but after today i am turning this worthless product odd and deleting it.

Tried to use this, primarily for its security features, but just so much else is missing.

First, I have minor sight problems so the ability to change text size and font is important. But there is no setting for this. The only one is default zoom, which doesn't even work.

Also there is the complete lack of any add-ons. I get that this is for security, but it's like trying to sell a radio locked to a single station.

Maybe it's good when doing "sensitive" browsing, but certainly not for everyday use.

Tried it and not impressed.

Good browser but trash startup let me search don't force options on me before I can browse.

Duckduckgo blocked me from using some sites like YouTube..all the pop ups of blocking cookies are false it pulls wool over our eyes about scam blocking...after I uninstall it phone is useless..I can't use Google and many apps have disappeared or blocked

It irritates me that all the UK Adverts are with an American accent. I know it's an American company but they should use users with a more diverse British Accent

It used to be good. A worthy contender for Google. Now it borders on useless. Results are rarely related to the question/query. For example, I was looking for online information on end of life declarations and forms. What I got was links to listings of iPhone end-of-life dates.

It's not what it was and will probably never be.

The app needs to have a mic. For those who do not spell very well. It will help your app work better to find the results.

Not q good app. Still have hacker still yall lie about it he hacked everything and I'm going to get my money back. If somebody can help me I need somebody to take care of this hacker. I know who it is . Something needs to be done

I finally had enough of Chrome and it constantly giving me previous or incorrect search results. I tried Edge but I couldn't get rid of co-pilot while using Edge on my phone so I could actually see the results of my search. Then I tried Duck Duck Go. Besides being more private it offers 4 really good benefits and no downsides for me. First, my search results are much better now. Second, when I mistype a question when searching I simply touch the question I wrote and it goes right into edit mode. I correct my mistake and search again. I also love being able to clear cache and tabs with 1 touch. "Fireproof this site" is a must for sites that need. their cache cleared on a regular basis without logging out. One other thing. I seen a review that says you can't use voice search with Duck Duck Go. That is false. You simply allow Duck Duck Go to use your device's microphone and it basically borrows the voice search from another scource. Just google "How can I make Duck Duck Go use voice search" and you will find what you need written and/or on YouTube. This is how I did it. Phone settings, apps, duck duck go, permissions, microphone, allow only while using this app. Then I open the duck duck go app and click the 3 dots on the top right of the page. Scroll down to the bottom and click settings, then scroll down to the bottom and click enable private voice search, then scroll to the bottom and enable private voice search by sliding the toggle to the right. Done!. I have been using it since day 1 and it works perfectly. It should be called Duck Duck Varoom!!!

Does not work with some web sites. I tried to buy something on a large company web site and could not complete the payment as the browser would not let me scroll back up the page. Completed purchase with firefox no problem

I went into the store at 1442 S. Parker Rd. at 5:32 Pm on Saturday 10-11-25. I promptly walked over to the
Medication aisles. There was a tall man waiting in one of the aisles waiting for someone to help him. I wear my keys around my neck, he thought I worked there.
I showed him the button and pushed the button and told him he would need to wait. I them pushed the button for me on the next aisle over as well. We stood there for at least 20 minutes. I had to ask one of the male pharmacy attendants to ask for an attendant as we were standing there a long time. He could see that. I looked at the clock inside the pharmacy and it said approximately 5:52. 20 Minutes! Finally the attendant came and he helped the gentleman as he should have first.
Then he came over to me and I asked why we waited so long. I had already noticed as I walked in that the store wasn't very busy. He told me it was really busy. I commented that if that was busy he needed to get another job. At first he was not going to allow me to hold the item that he pulled out of the locked cabinet. I said something to him and he gave me my diabetic sticks. I put my 2 items that I was going to purchase on the counter. Lupna yelled at me and told me to stand over to my left and wait where there was no one at a cash register because of privacy concerns. Then I noticed that the people that were not in the store when I walked in were being helped first. I spoke up and Lupna told me that wasn't standing in the right place. I told her that I was standing where she told me to stand. I am 71 years old and I have a spine that is in need of 2 serious surgeries. I was in extreme pain. Most people would have passed out by now. I was already leaning on the counter. The gentleman that called for us saw that I was in great pain. Lupna gave me more lip and I placed my 2 items on the counter, and told her that I wasn't going to play her game. I might have mentioned that I was at least 50 years older than she. I don't remember.
On the way into the store, I noticed that it wasn't very busy. Three lanes were open,but only one was busy. No one was standing in the self service line. Maybe after my 20 minute waiting more people came in. I should not have been treated like I was in the principal's office. If this was the way she was going to treat me I would not play her game. I am not a child.
So I left my purchase on the counter and walked out.

I left and called the store. I sat on hold for another 20 minutes. I was not put on mute as I should have been. The female that asked for the manager, told me she was going to hang up on me and then she did. I called back 2 times more and she hung up both times. So in other words she hung up on me 3 times. Apparently you do not train your staff to be courteous to their customers. Perhaps this is why you have such a large turn over. I never see the same people twice and I am in there a lot. Do not have an AI bot review this. It should be given the respect that I was not!!

I love the ad-free space that DuckDuckGo offers, and with their interactive AI, I'm getting more focused responses to my searches. It pulls information from many websites and compiles it into an understandable, clear result that gives me the answers I need. If I need to clarify, I can go to a private chat and narrow down the response there. It's fun!

Duckduckgo for me is a waste of time. A lot of my searches are voice search which they don't support.

It saved me from constant data theft from chrome and opera to hell with Googles constant tracking. Its a thrilling search engine though it has less customisation but im fine with it

Difficult to navigate and whilst looking for something fairly innocuous I came face to face with some hardcore porn videos!

It felt good to get away from Google. DDG has so many little features that I like, but the one I really love is the App Tracking Protection. I'm not joking when I say that you have no idea how MANY trackers are in every little app on your device, and they're pinging tracker networks thousands of times a day. Things I thought were innocuous were tracking me and I never even knew it.
Search results aren't as precise as I'd like, but compared to what Google has made of itself (LOL), they're as accurate as you're gonna get without going to a literal library.
Most importantly, they let you TURN OFF THE AI. Google forces it on you, but DDG gives you the CHOICE.

Useless.
