Shocking!

The worst is that it is the most expensive streaming service in the country and they STILL SERVE YOU ADS before you can watch a show (Which you just paid for!). Shame on you.

TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS

While going up nearly R200 in price from last year to this year, DSTV forces customers who only want to watch rugby on a Saturday to pay the full price package of R1550 per month! Disgusting advantage being taken of businesses and households. Takes the same route as the cell phone providers and banks to just milk the South African public with no regard for anything but profits. SHAMEFUL.

I took a WiFi with my dstv they told me to pay an amount to upgrade for more that when I went to boxer shop the system gave a less amount with I paid now the amounts where not the same now the disconnected me for their fault and I felt it was a fraud your system can’t give an amount and you telling me I paid less hence I got small data and now am disconnected I can’t watch tv and my kids are suffering am very angry I called and chat with all now is coming with a solution they want money from me I must pay more to reconnect more that I was paying that pure fraud my account with 93998452 worse company ever I worked with I need help

Dstv went from worse to worse for the…

Dstv went from worse to worse for the last few years.
They are repeating cheap, old movies to death. Cartoons on every Mnet till 5 pm.
Nothing new anymore, nothing interesting anymore.
Their charges went up, their quality went down.
I used to love it. I still have in 4 different countries, but I will soon disconnect it.
It is a very boring cable provider now.

Dstv is by far the worst ever,no wonder everyone is running away,they keep on adding a lot of unnecessary amounts cheating and stealing from us,this has to stop,it is enough,it is high time their competition fights harder to win over all the customers,it doesnt even make an effort to keep clients,very pathetic.

Terrible customer service from DSTV!

DSTV Tel: 011 2892222 service desk has the absolute worst service. Spoke to someone called Siya, who refused to assist. Kept us holding on with their irritating jingle for 30 minutes in total. When you want to upgrade your package, you can simply follow the prompts and it is done. Try to downgrade your package however, you need to speak to someone like SIYA who will do everything in his power not to allow the downgrade. We asked several times to speak to a supervisor and after asking several times, he says that is manager is now in a meeting and we must call again in 30 minutes. For what? To go through the very same repeated jingle!

Dstv is showing live tennis chanel 214 the same march is live on channel 201, on channel 206 is a repeat of men's match with Ruud. Why is the live match of Sinner showing on channel 214 also showing on 201. Why are the woman's not showing on any channels as there are 4 live woman's match on now and are not showing on any of the channels 3 channel are showing men's matches match of sinners are shown on 214 and 201 at the same time it don't make sense this is discrimination to woman's matches. Dstv is using 2 channels to show the same match its ridiculous.

HORRID, RUDE UNPLEASANT

Horrid, rude, incompetent Zikhona whom I asked via DSTV's whatsapp line how much additional data cost with 2?? on the enquiry. BEFORE I COULD DECIDE WHETHER TO TOP UP DATA OR NOT SHE HAD ACTUALLY TOPPED ME UP WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. WHEN I ASKED HER TO REVERSE THE TOP UP SHE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS IF SHE HAD TRIED. WAY TOO MUCH AGRIVATION FOR ME TO BE PAYING FOR. COMES END OF THIS CONTRACT, COMES END OF MY OVER 30 YEAR DEALINGS WITH MULTICHOICE. THEY HAVE GONE FROM BAD TO WORSE AND I TRULY CANT BE BOTHERED ANYMORE. JUST LIKE THEIR SERVICE.

Poor service

I'm very much pissed with dstv ...as you guys just add channels on my account without any communication with me and you force me to pay double amount for what ,I feel this is a dy light robbery ,for me and my family I can tell you that we will first to leave it .as I speak now I did not pay this month as my bill is double ,I spoke to phindile on their chatbot and she told me that I have to pay the amount the way it is .my package is dstv compact plus internet. I told her that I will never pay that money !!!!!

Locked in for 12 months at R1 below R700. Its sad. A used-to-be bluechip company uses these hand-behind-the-back tactics to earn income and attempts to remain relevant. Sad.😞
