Drive time was amazing!! I got my dream car and was so easy and helpful with me. The team was fun and walked with me through this process
Jamal and Rachel were super helpful throughout this process. I chose drive time again because I wanted a quick and painless process and they delivered. Jamal was great over the phone pre-arrival to make sure we had everything ready to go once we were there. Really appreciate the time spent walking us through everything and staying late to get the deal done at the terms we wanted.

I see a lot of positive reviews for their car-buying experience, but here are the facts from a vehicle out the door and down the road.
BUYER BEWARE!
I'll start with the short ram air filter, installed on the 2018 Kia Optima SXT turbo, which had to be replaced for $70.
Now, buying a car from a lot, you would think they would perform an oil change, but no. That's another $80.
The car is pulling to the right, so I took it in for an alignment. This is when I was told that the undercarriage and tie-rod are bent, and the vehicle's alignment will never be straight.
The car was within the 30 day warranty, so I took the day off because I would have no vehicle to have the tie-rod replaced. I lost a day's wages for this repair.
I then began pursuing having the undercarriage repaired. Now, keep in mind, I was told that this car HAD NOT been in an accident. Then why is the undercarriage bent?
The Tire Choice I was dealing with attempted to have Silver Rock approve the claim, still within the 30 days, and Silver Rock" 's response was to drop the car off at the Tire Choice and when they got around to it they would send someone to inspect the vehicle, and maybe they would approve the repair. I can not lose my car for an undetermined amount of time, I have no help.
So moving on, I decided to perform a tune-up only to find the oil leaking into the spark plug wells. Great, a valve cover leak.
Before I can even process the valve cover leak, the check engine light comes on. I inspect and find a P420 code. This is the code for a failing catalytic converter.
There are generally three main options to resolve the issue:
1. Upstream Oxygen sensor (replaced)
2. Downstream Oxygen sensor (replaced)
3. Catalytic converter (1000.00+ part only) (not replaced).
At this point, my anxiety is through the roof, and I have to limit my travel. I am an IT Specialist and my work revolves around my vehicle's ability to deliver me to a site's location. I have now been limited to a safe driving distance so I can afford to have this vehicle towed back home when it finally breaks down.
Drivetime said they would help with a rental, but by the time I finished doing the calculations, the remaining balance that I would have to pay on my end for a rental would be a couple of hundred, possibly more.
If you haven't figured it out, I can't afford all of this extra hassle, maybe you can.
My income has been restricted now, causing financial issues.
One day, I decided to get lunch in a drive-through, and the driver's side window regulator went out. Now I can't roll down the driver's window, or I will have to take the door apart to get it back up.
I spoke to Drive Time Support and they will approve the repair for the window regulator and the valve cover. I just have to miss a day of work and pay $100.
I spoke with The Tire Choice, and the manager said his mechanic said the undercarriage was bent, but he didn't see it. So he wouldn't support me on the undercarriage even though he is the one who pointed it out. When this was pointed out I personally viewed the damage while it was on the lift. I took a photo, it is uploaded.
The undercarriage is still bent with no repair in sight. But this car has never been in a wreck, according to Drive Time.
Next, I replaced my brake pads a couple of months ago. Shortly after the financing, but about three weeks ago I started hearing this grinding. The grinding that you hear when brake pads are worn out. But that's impossible I had just replaced those brake pads. I assumed it was the rotors.
When I go to replace the rotors I find the driver's side rear brake pads worn down to the plate. The caliper has gone bad.
Now I have a brake caliper that isn't retracting properly, thanks. The Turbo has started failing, too
I understand there is an acceptable range of repairs and maintenance that will have to be absorbed when purchasing a used vehicle, but this far exceeds an acceptable range.
I've lost faith in humanity and its ability to anything other than screw the other person, while smiling.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Rachel was so amazing and did everything possible to put my husband in a car. I’ve never had such ease at a dealership. We had our 3 yr old grandson and they had tablets, water, and they were so amazingly nice and friendly to him. Rachel is the best but all the ladies, at the front desk and all were amazing!

Katherine made us feel comfortable with the whole process and it was felt very easy and didn’t take as long as it would if we went to a car dealership. Very pleased with our choice.
