Our new Dream Conservatory
We needed a new conservatory. It needed to be a solid roof to ensure it was well insulated. We wanted a local company that could provide an initial realistic fair quote without hours of consultation or pushy salesmen.
After researching our area for local companies we narrowed it down to three including Dream Installations. All three provided quotes, advice and friendly service. Dream Installations came out top for the following reasons:excellent initial no pressure consultation; follow up site visits was done by one of the company directors. No heavy sales talk. The initial site visit was comprehensive and informative, clarifying questions were to the point without any attempt to upsell added extras and lasted 30 minutes. Their quotation was received within the week along with written info relating to the solid roof we had decided to go with. The quotation was clear, fair, covered all of our needs with no sudden extras.
Exceptional service from every member of staff it is company led from the top with personal service from the two company directors, the two well informed receptionists the top quality subcontractors I.e builders, installers, plasterers, etc all added their own attention to detail during the build. For instance the ascetics of the outside step was discussed re comfortable safe height, the type of slab on top (we went with York Stone), the interior was well thought out including the surprising treat of the carpenter matching the skirting boards as closely as possible to the pattern of the 1930s style in the older adjacent dining room this detail makes the flow from the the dining room into the conservatory appear seamless and not just a later extension. Because we opted for a solid roof and wanted the feeling of height so there was not a flat ceiling above our heads as in normal rooms. It was four sided that rose to an apex. The two plasterers turned it into a beautifully executed work of art. Gently curved side seams and matching soft curves on the internal box gutter these curves create soft cosy shadows depending on daylight hour or evening electric lighting. All the subcontractors worked cleanly, fast but paying attention to ensuring their work was solid. Most of all none were constantly stopping their work to take or make mobile phone calls.
