Extremely poor experience with the Rossendale franchise of Dream Doors. Bathroom refurbishment planned with Dream Doors middle of September 2025. Work planned to start last week of November comprising the replacement of all panels, base doors, drawers, overhead plinth for spot lights and the installation of a quartz work-top.
Work began on Monday 1st December with all materials being delivered that morning. At 11:00am a fitter arrived to start the installation. The following day the same fitter returned and another contractor arrived later that day who fitted the quartz work-top and then promptly left. An electrician also arrived on the second day but left soon after to buy spotlights and never returned.
By mid-afternoon on the second day the fitter was hitting problems with measurements, there was no space for one of the side panels, neither he, nor us could think of a solution so he rang the owner of the franchise. Her ‘solution’ was for us to just paint over the existing panel. The fitter left mid-afternoon and said someone would be in touch to resolve the issue. No one turned up the following day and this was the last time we saw or heard from anyone at Dream Doors Rossendale. We were left with an uncompleted and unusable bathroom: The overhead plinth didn’t fit, no lights had been fitted to it, the doors and panels that had been fitted (by no means all) were all misaligned with unsightly gaps, our old 30mm worktop had been replaced with 20mm granite leaving an unsightly gap and worst of all the pre-drilled hole in the quartz for the waste was not big enough so the sink could not be fitted.
We are extremely grateful to local plumber, Chris Watson, (who has agreed to be named in this review) came to our rescue putting right the badly fitting doors, fitting those that had not be fitted at all and helping us with the installation of a correctly sized quartz top, which we bought from a local supplier. Only then could we fit a sink and have a working bathroom. We were so appalled at the quality of the installation we have taken images of everything before having to dismantle and rebuild.
We were left high and dry by Dream Doors at the start of December last year and it is only today 19th January, some 7 weeks later that their head office has informed us that the Rossendale franchise has in fact ceased trading.

Just had our kitchen completely renovated by Dream Doors (Horley). Excellent service - Wayne was brilliant. No fuss - no mess.

From start to finish, Dream Doors Gloucester were committed to provide nothing short of the highest quality of customer service. Their product range is extensive and their advise in our choice of kitchen was invaluable and truly customer focussed. The DreamDoor fitters were outstanding. They were polite, respectful and did everything they could to provide us with the kitchen we always wanted. The whole job was flawlessly monitored, with minor remedial work (a real-life fact of such a project) was carried out quickly and would the company would only accept a final payment, when this was completed to our satisfaction. A big 'thank you' to Dream Doors from us both and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

We chose Dream Doors Kitchens for a kitchen facelift after reading positive reviews and were very pleased with the service. Simon, Director of Dream Doors Canterbury, clearly understood our requirements, and the work was carried out by Mike and Archie, who were punctual, tidy, and highly professional. They worked for six days, leaving the space clean at the end of each day, and nothing was too much trouble. Several months on, everything remains in excellent condition, and we are very happy with the result.

Please please please don’t waste your money with these people! Once they poorly fit your kitchen you will be left high and dry.
It took me 3 weeks to get in contact with the area manger just to be given awful excuses.
Starting from the top they fitted the taps the wrong way round hot water comes out of the cold tap cold water comes out of the tap label hot. When I contacted dream doors to inform them how my tap has become loose within a year and the door handles have already rusted within a year. I was told they’re going to transfer me to the area manager and he will sort this out. The area manager is completely not interested in sorting out your issue. I had to chase up for weeks!
I’ve attached screenshots when I finally caught him on the phone. He hurried me off the call and said send me photos on WhatsApp as you can see he did not reply to my WhatsApp messages.
When I finally got on contact with him months after yes I said months after he proceeded to tell me that this is not actually covered in the seven year warranty. And that’s the problem once you’re in the process of getting it fitted it sounds all good that you’re covered seven years any issues we will replace it for you. Once you’ve paid them, they’ve done the job they have no interest in following up no interest in how it’s performed.
When I told the area manager about the issues for example wrong taps were fitted the wrong way round and broken tap he didn’t believe me bear in mind its two adult women that live here mother and daughter there’s no kids, no people that are heavy-handed so there’s no reason for it to have this wear and tear apart from poorly cheap materials.
I have spent a lot of money with separate plumbing now due to them not correctly fitting the sink (it got severely blocked in weeks of fitting) spent money on now replacing the new tap due to them not correctly installing the tap. Do not go with these people if you do not want to constantly be paying for maintenance of cheap materials and poorly fitted work.
The manager tried to waste some time by telling me to find the form that was given to me upon completion that he couldn’t help me unless I had that form he tried to say he doesn’t see my name at all on the records. When I then found a form showed him the form he said oh sorry yeah we can’t do any more work this is not covered in our warranty. I told him to explain to me what is in the warranty and he would not give me a clear answer indicating that clearly the whole warranty stuff is a whole lot of waffle. When I tried to pin him down on something concrete that is covered by warranty be kind of alluded to fact if there was wear and tear that wasn’t caused by us and clearly as seen in the photos wear and tear of the door handles less than a year is something that is clearly due to materials.
I then asked the area manager to at least can they replace the handles because surely that’s in warranty ? He said no workers are available and then I asked can he at least mail new ones. He said this would be something hard because we have so many knob types which is insane because surely they should have records of the knobs that they have installed for a client. It is so clear that once they got you money they have no interest in you.
Another thing to say I am under the impression that they have showrooms because they can close an open them just in case they get loads of bad views and very dissatisfied customers because when I tried to reach out to the showroom that I signed up with he was nowhere to be found and speaking to the area manager Martin he said that he is has now left the country And I think it’s in their best interest that they have a showroom and then they have temporary staff so when things go wrong, they can kind of absolve themselves from any responsibility.
I will say again if you’re thinking of going here please go somewhere else because they have no interest in helping you whatsoever what they’ve taken your money for their poorly fitted jobs

Our kitchen has been transformed by the Dream Doors team! From an old, tired workspace to a modern, functional kitchen. The fitters, plumbers and electricians took great pride in their work and were efficient and so polite. The whole process was overseen expertly and ran seamlessly. I would highly recommend Dream Doors

I wouldn’t normally write a bad review about a company but unfortunately on this occasion I feel I must.
I spent over £10K on new doors work tops and appliances.
I expected good quality appliances for the money I was charged but they are cheap and poor quality.
The oven developed a fault where the ceramic lining was cracking and chipping away from the inside.
It has taken 5 months for the company to deliver the replacement.
I was constantly fobbed off with numerous excuses or given dates where they failed to turn up with the item.
In the end I spoke with a solicitor and Dream Doors head office about the situation.
Their customer service is shocking and the worse I have ever experienced.
I can’t recommend this company.

Took time out of our busy schedules to have an hour or so appointment in store ,to never receive a quote ! That's the quote which was meant to reach us 3 days later.. 4 weeks on and still no quote.. A waste of time and a disappointment..New kitchen on the way from a reliable company!

From start to finish Dream Doors in Ely have been fantastic! Our first call with Sarah put us at ease and following our visit to the showroom cemented our decision to proceed with our worktop replacement. We were kept informed all throughout the process and we are now the proud owners of some beautiful worktops, sink and tap. A shout out to the fitter Dan who left everything spotless, big thank you to Sarah for being so wonderful and Gareth for bringing all together.

Appalling experience with this Rossendale franchise of Dream Doors
Zero project management
No understanding of contractors obligations
Demanded full payment in order to complete and still haven’t done so despite us caving on this to get it finished. Aggressive franchisee was defensive and unhelpful despite our being consistently obliging
We ordered in July - job meant to start 17/10/25 but it didn’t and they held us to ransom till today with missing cabinet fronts (one is still in situ damaged as the replacement broken in transit)
All problems their poor skills - damage caused by contractors - incorrect items ordered - forced substitutions on us:- wrong colour doors, wrong tap as unavailable choice, missing drawer fronts as not measured correctly, 2 week delay when worktop product broken in transit
We now have an induction hob we didn’t order - needed new cookware
Have requested consideration of financial refund but no response. £350 refund given from a £10.5 k spend
Criminal that this company still trading as similar reviews seen.
Dream Doors - you need to protect your franchise name

From visiting the Dream Doors showroom in Ely to having the kitchen checked and signed off as completed we found all the staff friendly, experienced and professional. They gave helpful advice when asked but were never pushy. The fitters came when expected and worked tirelessly, going the extra mile to produce a perfect finish and they cleared up carefully at the end of the day so the mess and disruption was minimised. We had a slight leak from our sink (after the old sink was put back) but that was quickly rectified.
We love our new kitchen. The space has been transformed. Thank you!

The whole Dream Doors team attention to detail and no question too small to ask. The team were more than the brochure providing an amazing attention to detail across all aspects of the build. Suggestions were made by the installers to improve the final presentation. The installers were experience trades people and worked well and very tidy. Excellent adaptability of the team to meet our requirements even during the build. So pleased with the final outcome. Also, a great bunch of people to deal with.

The team at Dream Doors in Hartshill were excellent. They are friendly; professional & not pushy. Importantly the team arrived when they said they would & provided great customer service. Simon, the fitter, was great, the job was done to a fantastic standard & he was able to provide a solution to some tricky spaces. Everything was cleaned up afterwards too. We had a slight snag which the team dealt with very quickly & professionally. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had a freshen up of our 20+ year old kitchen by replacing worktops, kickboards, kitchen sink and taps and also some unit doors.
The whole Dream Doors (Croydon) experience was first class, from the initial consultation with Luke, to the installation. Trevor and Paul were friendly, tidy and most importantly very skilled and experienced craftsmen. We’re very happy with the results and have new look kitchen at a fraction of the cost of a brand new one. We just need to decorate now to complete the makeover!
We were so impressed we’re thinking of having our wardrobes changed by Dream Doors in the new year.
