DO NOT USE! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, RUBBISH CLEANERS AND DISGUSTING SERVICE. I was quoted £200 for a ‘deep clean’ of 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. The cleaner broke my shower door but insisted that it was already like that. The bathrooms were fine although a lot was missed and I had to tell them to go over things. There was no deep clean done in the kitchen, I was told beforehand that the cupboards inside and out would be done and the fridge. They left the kitchen in a worse state than it was before. I rang her Shelley to explain all this and she told me she would call me back but didn’t, I then text her twice and no reply, I later realised she had blocked my number. I called her off a different number and she answered and then hung up. This is the most awful service I have ever received. The whole company is a scam!! AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL

Absolutely outstanding cleaning services received by dolly char cleaning today I'm a alcoholic and I'm so sick I literally can't keep up with cl aning my own house work I'm ashamed to say. Dolly char came and deep cleaned my property from top to bottom and done a absolutely amazing job they are very professional and definitely and I'm am feel so much better in my self now my house is lovely and clean I would highly recommend this cleaning company to anyone and the will definitely be using them again thanks very much for your great service today xxx

Exceptional cleaning services received from dollychar cleaning services today they came and did a full house deal clean on my property as I can no longer do it myself due to my health problems my house was cleaned thoroughly from top to bottom and even went out of there way to help me by changing all my bed sheets I am do thankful I will most definitely be using them again and I would highly recommend this company thank you so much

If I could write less than 1 star, I would, they have cheated me out of 13 weeks of payment, because I am severely disabled and brittle asthmatic, I was forced to pay it up front. The cleaner turned up and did not undertake any dusting or cleaning and just vacuumed the carpets. I have cameras because of bad falls and I have evidence to show nothing was done at all. I was threatened by the Dolly Char franchisee and refused my funds back. My painting was damaged as well. PLEASE DO NOT ENGAGE THEM unless you want to throw away your funds

Dolly char attended my property yesterday and I am more than impressed. The girls were lovely and I were more than comfortable to leave them to handle their business. Everything I asked plus more completed in the time scale they said and absolutely fair for price! I will definitely be seeing them in the future & I recommend to anyone needing a deep clean / one of service contact these😁

An absolute horrific experiance with this company, they left mess and did not do their job properly, we rang to complain and was sworn at by a person called Shelly and they put the phone down on me, we rang again and again and again but no one picked the phone up, avoid her and this company its a SCAM.

I recently brought in Dolly Char cleaning services Oldham to my home to help me with cleaning due to bad health.

I was sold on the understanding that the cleaner would come every week on a day that suits me. I was also told that cover would be provided to cover sickness and unavailability of the cleaner.

This gave me the confidence to go ahead with the service. I was told out of the £16 an hour charge that the £13 an hour goes to the cleaner either cash in hand or bank transfer. £3 for every hour goes to the cleaning agency.

I arranged 2hrs a week and paid £6 a week for 3 months up front to the cleaning agency. £72 for 3 months.

The first week went ahead no problem. Weeks 2,3,4 was hit and miss with problems with cleaner changing days. Texting to say she couldn’t arrive because of illness. Expecting me to arrange my time around other clients. Not giving any real notice to not turning up only a text few hours before being due to arrive.

Asked for another more reliable cleaner to come in. 4 weeks went by with no cleaner. Finally arranged for new cleaner to come in on the following Monday. Monday morning received a text message from cleaner saying she couldn’t come because she was sick and didn’t feel well.

Out of the 8 weeks I’d been with the company, only 4 weeks had been full filled. I’ve been offered NO refund for the time not full filled by this company.

I had a good cleaning experience, been using dolly char for over 5months each cleaning service make my house spotless ..

Avoid. First week was great. Second and third wasn't and when I called to complain I got called a liar by Shelly who had not seen the house. The cleaners name is Samrina.

I used Oldham cleaning services. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but felt I needed to write one. First cleaner who turned up did a great job however she stopped turning up and didn't provide me with any notice.
I've had A LOT of issues with payment being taken out of my account without my knowledge even after I cancelled with Shelley They use Go Cardless. Cancel direct debit on your end. As per Go Cardless' T&C, I cancelled with the merchant, however payments still got taken out of my account. It was a pain and hassle for me to get my money back (eventually got it back).
I was embarrassed that I had recommended Dolly Char to my friend (who has now cancelled with them as she experienced poor service).

I would not recommend them to anyone and will be staying clear from this company

***I have asked for an invoice for the cash I handed over in good faith 10 times and she is just ignoring me now***
I wanted a good clean of my brothers small 1 bed flat, it was dirty and dusty but very clear and tidy, hardly any furniture. No appliances apart from a small fridge which was part of the deal, the microwave was brand new. The house had just had a mould treatment by the council so clear on that. I was quoted £140, when Dolly Char Oldham came (2 cleaners) Shelley (owner)said she wanted £170, said that’s what she quoted, she categorically did not. They did 3 hours each. It seemed fine, smelt nice, I paid £170 cash and they left. I went around, the fridge wasn’t done and there was a ton of things they missed, I took photos and sent them too her. Even the floor around the bin was tea bag stained, I put some Jif and bleach on a sponge and in 2 minutes it was gone. I was so very disappointed that I handed all that cash over for a very basic clean, I could have done it better on my own for three hours. She said they would come back to finish the job they didn’t, I said in that case I would finish it and wanted a refund of at least £50. She did finally send me £20 (not nearly enough) but no invoice, I have asked for in invoice 6 times to no avail. My brother had Alzheimer’s and Parkinson and this deep clean was a present from the family. Avoid this firm like the plague.Quote should be given in writing, I learned the hard way, whoever you get, get a written quote and inspect the job before you hand over your money.

Literally the worst, most unprofessional cleaning company. The franchisee turned up late, dressed as what can only be described as a “scout camp leader” proceeded to tell us how they had had drunken cleaners on jobs - drinking the house owners booze! Had a look around our property, really nosey. Took all personal details, funnily enough, no cleaner arrived. My concern is what do they do with your personal details ~ GDPR!! Do not touch this company or the franchise run by “Jules Richie”
Appalling and highly unprofessional with absolutely no discretion whatsoever ~ embarrassing!
