We bought the Dog & Drive steps and crate into our 2022 Defender 110 and I’m really glad we did.
I originally messaged just to ask a couple of questions and ended up being really impressed with how helpful they were. Quick replies, really friendly, and not salesy at all. They actually took the time to understand our setup and the dog, and explained everything in plain English. The whole process felt easy, and they kept us in the loop the whole time, which I appreciated.
As for using it day to day… it’s made a bigger difference than I expected. Our dog used to do that little pause at the boot and you could tell he wasn’t totally sure about jumping, especially if he’d been out all day. Now he just uses the steps without thinking about it. No lifting, no coaxing, no awkward jumping in and out. It’s just… sorted.
The crate fits the Defender boot really nicely too. It doesn’t look like something you’ve just shoved in there, it sits properly and the boot still feels usable rather than cramped. And it’s just reassuring knowing he’s got his own proper space and isn’t sliding about.
Everything feels solid, nothing rattles, and it genuinely looks like it belongs in the car. If you’ve got a Defender 110 and travel with your dog a lot, I’d 100% recommend it. Not just because the product’s great, but because the service made the whole thing feel like a proper, stress-free purchase.
